U Rudi kod Sinja, na igralištu uz zgradu područnog odjeljenja Osnovne škole "Kamešnica" iz Otoka, damas se svečano postrojila skupina pripadnika Samostalne satnije Vrlika, koji su tim činom evocirali događaj od 7. siječnja 1992. godine, kada su na istom mjestu dali prisegu Republici Hrvatskoj.
Svečanost je održana u organizaciji vrličke Hvidre, a uz pripadnike nekadašnje satnije, među kojima je bio i gradonačelnik Jure Plazonić, u ulozi domaćina nazočio je i Dušan Đula, načelnik općine Otok.
Samostalna satnija Vrlika utemljena je 10. listopada 1991. u Trilju, u sastavu 126. brigade Hrvatske vojske. Odmah nakon osnutka njezini pripadnici preuzeli su borbene zadaće tako da su do ponovnog okupljanja i davanja prisege u Rudi već imali "vatreno krštenje".
Kroz Samostalnu satniju prošlo je oko 400 boraca, od ukupno oko 500 Vrličana koji su u sastavu Hrvatske vojske sudjelovali u obrani domovine. Tijekom Domovinskog rata 14 Vrličana dalo je život za Hrvatsku.
Iza današnje svečanosti u Rudi ostala je mrlja u obliku kamene ploče na pročelju zgrade škole, a koja bi trebala biti trajni spomen na prisegu vrličkih bojovnika.
Na ploči, čiji tekst govori o nepismenosti njegova autora, koji uz ostalo piše i riječ "nežaleći", stoji da su bojovnici vrličke satnije "prisegnuli na vjernost Nezavisnoj Državi Hrvatskoj". Kada smo na tekst skrenuli pozornost gradonačelniku Plazoniću on nam je rekao da je ploču vidio prvi put i da ranije nije bio upoznat s njezinim sadržajem.
Ostaje tek pitanje je li moguće da veterani Samostalne satnije Vrlika ni poslije 30 godina ne znaju da nikakve "Nezavisne Države Hrvatske" nije bilo ni 7. siječnja 1992. niti je ima danas, ali kao samostalna, suverena i međunarodno priznata postoji Republika Hrvatska u kojoj, uz ostale, žive i oni.

U Rudi kod Sinja, na igralištu uz zgradu područnog odjeljenja Osnovne škole "Kamešnica" iz Otoka, damas se svečano postrojila skupina pripadnika Samostalne satnije Vrlika, koji su tim činom evocirali događaj od 7. siječnja 1992. godine, kada su na istom mjestu dali prisegu Republici Hrvatskoj.
Svečanost je održana u organizaciji vrličke Hvidre, a uz pripadnike nekadašnje satnije, među kojima je bio i gradonačelnik Jure Plazonić, u ulozi domaćina nazočio je i Dušan Đula, načelnik općine Otok.
Samostalna satnija Vrlika utemljena je 10. listopada 1991. u Trilju, u sastavu 126. brigade Hrvatske vojske. Odmah nakon osnutka njezini pripadnici preuzeli su borbene zadaće tako da su do ponovnog okupljanja i davanja prisege u Rudi već imali "vatreno krštenje".
Kroz Samostalnu satniju prošlo je oko 400 boraca, od ukupno oko 500 Vrličana koji su u sastavu Hrvatske vojske sudjelovali u obrani domovine. Tijekom Domovinskog rata 14 Vrličana dalo je život za Hrvatsku.
Iza današnje svečanosti u Rudi ostala je mrlja u obliku kamene ploče na pročelju zgrade škole, a koja bi trebala biti trajni spomen na prisegu vrličkih bojovnika.
Na ploči, čiji tekst govori o nepismenosti njegova autora, koji uz ostalo piše i riječ "nežaleći", stoji da su bojovnici vrličke satnije "prisegnuli na vjernost Nezavisnoj Državi Hrvatskoj". Kada smo na tekst skrenuli pozornost gradonačelniku Plazoniću on nam je rekao da je ploču vidio prvi put i da ranije nije bio upoznat s njezinim sadržajem.
Ostaje tek pitanje je li moguće da veterani Samostalne satnije Vrlika ni poslije 30 godina ne znaju da nikakve "Nezavisne Države Hrvatske" nije bilo ni 7. siječnja 1992. niti je ima danas, ali kao samostalna, suverena i međunarodno priznata postoji Republika Hrvatska u kojoj, uz ostale, žive i oni.
