U utorak, 26. ožujka pod pokroviteljstvom predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora Gordana Jandrokovića u Donjem Docu održat će se Dan sjećanja na nevine žrtve stradale u pokolju 26. ožujka 1944. godine.

U 10.30 sati održat će se koncelebrirana sveta misa zadušnica koju će predvoditi msgr. Jure Bogdan, vojni ordinarij uz pomoć domaćeg župnika don Ivana Prelasa i ostalih svećenika - župna crkva svetog Martina.

U 11.30 sati predviđena je komemoracija žrtvama pokolja kod spomen križa.

Prije punih osamdeset godina pripadnici njemačke 7. SS divizije "Prinz Eugen" u jednom danu u Donjem Docu počinili su pokolj nad dvjesto sedamdeset dvije nevine žrtve te su do temelja spalili cijelo selo. Od dvjesto sedamdeset dvije žrtve bilo je sto troje djece od kojih je jedno dijete bilo staro tek nekoliko sati.

Organizatori komemoracije u Docu Donjem su Grad Omiš, Mjesni odbor Donji Dolac i Župni ured Donji Dolac, a u komemoraciji će sudjelovati i učenici Osnovne škole "Gornja Poljica".

Odmazda nad civilima

Nezapamćeni zločin nad civilnim stanovništvom monstrumi su počinili u znak odmazde zbog partizanskih akcija u kojima su pobijeni njemački vojnici.

"Većinu staraca, žena i nejake djece zatvorili su u kuće zaseoka Gorjane, Dešiševići, Simunići, Braovići i Markići sela Dolac Donji.

Dat je znak, ispa­ljene su dvije crvene rakete, a uhapšeni su iz kuća izvedeni u dvorišta.

Tada se počelo s ubijanjem stanovništva, bez obzira na spol i na godine starosti. Djeca, koja su se tu zatekla sa svojim roditeljima ili su bila kod rodbine, dijelila su istu sudbinu. Rafali iz automata, puškomitraljeza, pušaka, eksplo­zije ručnih bombi, pomiješani s vriskom djece, žena i staraca, bili su stravi­čan prizor.

One koji su se pokušali spasiti bježanjem dočekivali su kuršumima ili bajonetama njemački vojnici.

Zločin okupatora je imao tragične posljedice: ubijeno je 272 osoba, od kojih su 103 bila djeca. Zapaljene su 142 stambene kuće i 75 drugih zgrada u Docu Donjem. U zločinu su se naročito isticali vojnici 7. SS divizije "Prinz Eugen", 118. lovačke divizije i 264. divizije", stoji svjedočanstvo o zločinu u knjizi "Mosorski partizanski odred".

U utorak, 26. ožujka pod pokroviteljstvom predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora Gordana Jandrokovića u Donjem Docu održat će se Dan sjećanja na nevine žrtve stradale u pokolju 26. ožujka 1944. godine.

U 10.30 sati održat će se koncelebrirana sveta misa zadušnica koju će predvoditi msgr. Jure Bogdan, vojni ordinarij uz pomoć domaćeg župnika don Ivana Prelasa i ostalih svećenika - župna crkva svetog Martina.

U 11.30 sati predviđena je komemoracija žrtvama pokolja kod spomen križa.

Prije punih osamdeset godina pripadnici njemačke 7. SS divizije "Prinz Eugen" u jednom danu u Donjem Docu počinili su pokolj nad dvjesto sedamdeset dvije nevine žrtve te su do temelja spalili cijelo selo. Od dvjesto sedamdeset dvije žrtve bilo je sto troje djece od kojih je jedno dijete bilo staro tek nekoliko sati.

Organizatori komemoracije u Docu Donjem su Grad Omiš, Mjesni odbor Donji Dolac i Župni ured Donji Dolac, a u komemoraciji će sudjelovati i učenici Osnovne škole "Gornja Poljica".

Odmazda nad civilima

Nezapamćeni zločin nad civilnim stanovništvom monstrumi su počinili u znak odmazde zbog partizanskih akcija u kojima su pobijeni njemački vojnici.

"Većinu staraca, žena i nejake djece zatvorili su u kuće zaseoka Gorjane, Dešiševići, Simunići, Braovići i Markići sela Dolac Donji.

Dat je znak, ispa­ljene su dvije crvene rakete, a uhapšeni su iz kuća izvedeni u dvorišta.

Tada se počelo s ubijanjem stanovništva, bez obzira na spol i na godine starosti. Djeca, koja su se tu zatekla sa svojim roditeljima ili su bila kod rodbine, dijelila su istu sudbinu. Rafali iz automata, puškomitraljeza, pušaka, eksplo­zije ručnih bombi, pomiješani s vriskom djece, žena i staraca, bili su stravi­čan prizor.

One koji su se pokušali spasiti bježanjem dočekivali su kuršumima ili bajonetama njemački vojnici.

Zločin okupatora je imao tragične posljedice: ubijeno je 272 osoba, od kojih su 103 bila djeca. Zapaljene su 142 stambene kuće i 75 drugih zgrada u Docu Donjem. U zločinu su se naročito isticali vojnici 7. SS divizije "Prinz Eugen", 118. lovačke divizije i 264. divizije", stoji svjedočanstvo o zločinu u knjizi "Mosorski partizanski odred".
