Treslo se Jadransko more tjednima, ali straha na Palagruži nema.

Osim jakog potresa magnitude 5,9 prema Richterovoj ljestvici koji je u ožujku zaljuljao Jadran, s epicentrom 68 kilometara sjeverno od talijanskoga grada Vico del Gargano i 116 kilometara južno od Splita, ostala zemljina gibanja lanternisti toga pučinskog škoja nisu osjetili. Dobro je prošlo, kažu nam kada smo ih kontaktirali kako bismo čuli najnovije vijesti s našega najudaljenijeg otoka. Kopno na pučini stameno stoji, kao i stara austrougarska gradnja s vrha palagruškog brda, doznajemo od svjetioničara Krešimira Tomašića.

– Taj veći, jaki potres bio je u prošloj smjeni, onoj našeg kolege koji je sada na kopnu. I, kako su nam rekli, dobro je bilo zaljuljalo. Ali ova ostala podrhtavanja koja su se naknadno dogodila nismo osjetili. Ja sam zapravo na internetu pročitao da je bilo potresa tu blizu nas. Ne bi ni znao da nisam to vidio. Sve je O.K., zgrada čvrsto stoji, nema ni odrona, nema promjena na moru, sve je kako treba – veli nam lanternist Krešo.

Znanost bi rekla, tenzije zemljinih gibanja smirila je dubina na kojoj je bio epicentar. Zato nije bilo izraženijih posljedica.

Ali taj prvi potres nije bio ugodan, zacimao je škoj i dom za čuvare pučine koji su taman bili u njemu. Tomislav Žuvela točno se sjeća kako je bilo u trenutku udara. Zatreslo je sve, lijevo-desno, propisno. Sreća je bila, kaže, što nije dugo trajalo, nekih šest-sedam sekundi. Pet minuta nakon prvog došao je i drugi udar, od tek dvije sekunde. Onda su izišli vani. Bilo je neugodno, jest, priznaje, rekavši nam kako mu je to bio drugi potres u životu.

– Sjećam se i onog prvog, otprije nekoliko godina, kraj Čiova. Ovaj od 5,9, kako su ga ocijenili, bio je ajmo reć takav. Ništa posebno drugačije. Čuješ huku, buku, tutanj i onda gibanje. Taman se dogodilo tu blizu nas, možda desetak milja dalje. Po moru se ništa nije moglo oćutiti da je zatreslo. Poslije je kod nas došlo nekoliko ribara, vratili su se s mora. Ma ni oni nisu ništa osjetili. Bilo je duboko dolje, zato je tako lakše prošlo. Pa nisu padale ni stijene, nismo vidjeli odrone. A i kuća je ostala kako treba. Iako promisliš, nema betonskih ploča, hoće li to opstati. Kamen je izdržao – veli nam i Tomislav Žuvela.

Treslo se Jadransko more tjednima, ali straha na Palagruži nema.

Osim jakog potresa magnitude 5,9 prema Richterovoj ljestvici koji je u ožujku zaljuljao Jadran, s epicentrom 68 kilometara sjeverno od talijanskoga grada Vico del Gargano i 116 kilometara južno od Splita, ostala zemljina gibanja lanternisti toga pučinskog škoja nisu osjetili. Dobro je prošlo, kažu nam kada smo ih kontaktirali kako bismo čuli najnovije vijesti s našega najudaljenijeg otoka. Kopno na pučini stameno stoji, kao i stara austrougarska gradnja s vrha palagruškog brda, doznajemo od svjetioničara Krešimira Tomašića.

– Taj veći, jaki potres bio je u prošloj smjeni, onoj našeg kolege koji je sada na kopnu. I, kako su nam rekli, dobro je bilo zaljuljalo. Ali ova ostala podrhtavanja koja su se naknadno dogodila nismo osjetili. Ja sam zapravo na internetu pročitao da je bilo potresa tu blizu nas. Ne bi ni znao da nisam to vidio. Sve je O.K., zgrada čvrsto stoji, nema ni odrona, nema promjena na moru, sve je kako treba – veli nam lanternist Krešo.

Znanost bi rekla, tenzije zemljinih gibanja smirila je dubina na kojoj je bio epicentar. Zato nije bilo izraženijih posljedica.

Ali taj prvi potres nije bio ugodan, zacimao je škoj i dom za čuvare pučine koji su taman bili u njemu. Tomislav Žuvela točno se sjeća kako je bilo u trenutku udara. Zatreslo je sve, lijevo-desno, propisno. Sreća je bila, kaže, što nije dugo trajalo, nekih šest-sedam sekundi. Pet minuta nakon prvog došao je i drugi udar, od tek dvije sekunde. Onda su izišli vani. Bilo je neugodno, jest, priznaje, rekavši nam kako mu je to bio drugi potres u životu.

– Sjećam se i onog prvog, otprije nekoliko godina, kraj Čiova. Ovaj od 5,9, kako su ga ocijenili, bio je ajmo reć takav. Ništa posebno drugačije. Čuješ huku, buku, tutanj i onda gibanje. Taman se dogodilo tu blizu nas, možda desetak milja dalje. Po moru se ništa nije moglo oćutiti da je zatreslo. Poslije je kod nas došlo nekoliko ribara, vratili su se s mora. Ma ni oni nisu ništa osjetili. Bilo je duboko dolje, zato je tako lakše prošlo. Pa nisu padale ni stijene, nismo vidjeli odrone. A i kuća je ostala kako treba. Iako promisliš, nema betonskih ploča, hoće li to opstati. Kamen je izdržao – veli nam i Tomislav Žuvela.

Treslo se Jadransko more tjednima, ali straha na Palagruži nema.

Osim jakog potresa magnitude 5,9 prema Richterovoj ljestvici koji je u ožujku zaljuljao Jadran, s epicentrom 68 kilometara sjeverno od talijanskoga grada Vico del Gargano i 116 kilometara južno od Splita, ostala zemljina gibanja lanternisti toga pučinskog škoja nisu osjetili. Dobro je prošlo, kažu nam kada smo ih kontaktirali kako bismo čuli najnovije vijesti s našega najudaljenijeg otoka. Kopno na pučini stameno stoji, kao i stara austrougarska gradnja s vrha palagruškog brda, doznajemo od svjetioničara Krešimira Tomašića.

– Taj veći, jaki potres bio je u prošloj smjeni, onoj našeg kolege koji je sada na kopnu. I, kako su nam rekli, dobro je bilo zaljuljalo. Ali ova ostala podrhtavanja koja su se...
