Posljednjih nekoliko dana opet svjedočimo porastu broja zaraženih od korone, i kod nas i diljem Europe. Je li posrijedi novi val pandemije koji će zaobići imunološki odgovor i treba li strahovati od eskalacije bolesti, pitali smo ravnatelja Županijskog zavda za javno zdravstvo dr. Matu Lakića, te tavnatelja Opće bolnice Dubrovnik dr. Marija Bekića.

- Od onoga velikog vala krajem prosinca i siječnju imali smo pad broja oboljelih, ali nismo nikada došli na neke potpuno niske brojeve. U posljednje vrijeme imamo nešto povećan broj oboljelih na našem dubrovačkom području. Važno je reći da su mnogi ljudi skloni mišljenju da smo porazili covid, daleko je to od istine, stalno je tu, mutira, stalno se mijenja i stalno je korak dva ispred svih nas. Treba biti vrlo oprezan, covid je još uvijek prisutan i ne znamo što je slijedeće i što možemo očekivati od njega.
Cjepiva ima više nego dovoljno, a interesa vrlo malo. Mi cijepimo i dalje. Što se tiče četvrte doze, odnosno druge booster doze ona se svakako preporučuje starijim ljudima, onima koji imaju veće rizike za obolijevanje od covida, a prethodno su se cijepili Johnson cjepivom. Neki su se već cijepili, a svakako upozoravam i one starije ljude koji se nisu uopće cijepili a nisu ni preboljeli da svakako što prije to naprave jer vidimo da ljudi i sa omicronom završavaju u bolnici.

- O eventualnom uvođenju novih mjera odlučuje Nacionalni stožer, a ja bih skrenuo pozornost je da ljudi izbjegavaju gužve, nose maske, peru ruke, sve one mjere koje smo komunicirali oni i dalje stoje i još uvijek su to vrlo dobre mjere za sprječavanje širenja covida. Također je cijepljenje mjera koja svakako štiti od teških oblika bolesti i teških posljedica dugotrajnog covida znači tako da te mjere imaju određeni benefit tako da kad te mjere zajedno kombiniramo dobivamo puni učinak borbe protiv covida - kazao je dr. Lakić.
Na današnji dan prošle godine u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji imali smo 4 osobe hospitalizirane zbog korone, ovog utorka ih je evidentirano 9, no ravnatelj Opće bolnice Dubrovnik dr. Marijo Bekić smatra da nema razloga za brigu.
Ističe da je zapravo riječ o malom porastu broj novooboljelih, u Jedinici intenzivnoj liječenja nema pacijenata s dijagnozom covida-19, a respiratori miruju.

Je li posrijedi novi val pandemije koji će zaobići imunološki odgovor i treba li strahovati od eskalacije bolesti, pitali smo ravnatelja Županijskog zavda za javno zdravstvo dr. Matu Lakića, te tavnatelja Opće bolnice Dubrovnik dr. Marija Bekića.

- Od onoga velikog vala krajem prosinca i siječnju imali smo pad broja oboljelih, ali nismo nikada došli na neke potpuno niske brojeve. U posljednje vrijeme imamo nešto povećan broj oboljelih na našem dubrovačkom području. Važno je reći da su mnogi ljudi skloni mišljenju da smo porazili covid, daleko je to od istine, stalno je tu, mutira, stalno se mijenja i stalno je korak dva ispred svih nas. Treba biti vrlo oprezan, covid je još uvijek prisutan i ne znamo što je slijedeće i što možemo očekivati od njega.
Cjepiva ima više nego dovoljno, a interesa vrlo malo. Mi cijepimo i dalje. Što se tiče četvrte doze, odnosno druge booster doze ona se svakako preporučuje starijim ljudima, onima koji imaju veće rizike za obolijevanje od covida, a prethodno su se cijepili Johnson cjepivom. Neki su se već cijepili, a svakako upozoravam i one starije ljude koji se nisu uopće cijepili a nisu ni preboljeli da svakako što prije to naprave jer vidimo da ljudi i sa omicronom završavaju u bolnici.

- O eventualnom uvođenju novih mjera odlučuje Nacionalni stožer, a ja bih skrenuo pozornost je da ljudi izbjegavaju gužve, nose maske, peru ruke, sve one mjere koje smo komunicirali oni i dalje stoje i još uvijek su to vrlo dobre mjere za sprječavanje širenja covida. Također je cijepljenje mjera koja svakako štiti od teških oblika bolesti i teških posljedica dugotrajnog covida znači tako da te mjere imaju određeni benefit tako da kad te mjere zajedno kombiniramo dobivamo puni učinak borbe protiv covida - kazao je dr. Lakić.
Na današnji dan prošle godine u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji imali smo 4 osobe hospitalizirane zbog korone, ovog utorka ih je evidentirano 9, no ravnatelj Opće bolnice Dubrovnik dr. Marijo Bekić smatra da nema razloga za brigu.
Ističe da je zapravo riječ o malom porastu broj novooboljelih, u Jedinici intenzivnoj liječenja nema pacijenata s dijagnozom covida-19, a respiratori miruju.
