Posljednja dva dana mještani Vranjica žive sa smradom nafte. Nije samo zaudaralo, uljane fleke, kažu nam sugovornici, plutale su na površini mora i ukazivale im put do uzroka još jednog ekološkog problema u tom mjestu. Otkrili su potopljen brod na području bivše tvornice “Salonit” iz kojeg se, upozorili su, izlijevala nafta, a pišu da se sanacija odrađuje "polijevanjem Čarlija po površini mora gdje je nafta".

- I ovaj incident se pokušao zataškati. Nikakvo upozorenje nije poslano nego se postupalo kao da se ništa nije dogodilo. Tko će odgovarati za ovaj incident ili će se opet proći 'ispod radara' nadležnih institucija kao i dosadašnji ekološki incidenti?! - vele predstavnici inicijative “Mjesto koje hoće živjeti”, a osnovana je zbog učestalih ekoloških problema kojima se uzrokuje onečišćenja mora.

Zvali su Lučku kapetaniju, koja je, kazali su, bila upoznata s problemom. Iz Kapetanije su odgovorili kako su odmah reagirali čim su doznali da je potopljen brod, još u ponedjeljak.

- Danas smo opet bili tamo jer je netko dojavio da je na tom mjestu uočeno onečišćenje, ali na terenu inspektori ništa nisu našli - kazao je Željko Kuštera, zapovjednik Lučke kapetanije. Dodao je kako je brod u raspremi te da nije plovio minimalno godinu dana.

- Vlasnik je podnio zahtjev za raspremu tako da ima minimum posade na brodu koja ga čuva. Zbog toga, nije došlo do onečišćenja, jer brod ne plovi već neko vrijeme i nije imao goriva. Mi smo poduzeli sve mjere, ogradili tu lokaciju, napravili zapisnik, obavijestili vlasnika koji će platiti troškove vađenja broda -  objasnio je Kuštera.

Ne samo zbog ovog incidenta, mještani Vranjica i predstavnici inicijative “Mjesto koje hoće živjeti” ogorčeni su (ne)radom odgovornih, bez obzira na njihove učestale apele.

- Godinama već upozoravamo na stanje u 'Salonitu' koji nije saniran od azbesta, u kojem vlada kaos koji očito svima odgovora. Brušenje plastičnih brodova, pituravanje i korištenje epoksi smole bez ikakvih ekoloških standarda. Već duže vrijeme upozoravamo na broj brodova koji je veći nego što je zakonom dopušteno na vezu - ponovo ukazuju na problem mještani Vranjica, ali za sad se ne nazire rješenje jer odgovorni, kažu, ignoriraju problem.

- Nažalost, kod nas se treba dogoditi neka katastrofa da se nešto poduzme. Hoće li se sada nešto poduzeti ili će se bezakonje nastaviti po starom i Salonit štiti kao zaštićenu vrstu - pitaju se ogorčeni Vranjičani.

Posljednja dva dana mještani Vranjica žive sa smradom nafte. Nije samo zaudaralo, uljane fleke, kažu nam sugovornici, plutale su na površini mora i ukazivale im put do uzroka još jednog ekološkog problema u tom mjestu. Otkrili su potopljen brod na području bivše tvornice “Salonit” iz kojeg se, upozorili su, izlijevala nafta, a pišu da se sanacija odrađuje "polijevanjem Čarlija po površini mora gdje je nafta".

- I ovaj incident se pokušao zataškati. Nikakvo upozorenje nije poslano nego se postupalo kao da se ništa nije dogodilo. Tko će odgovarati za ovaj incident ili će se opet proći 'ispod radara' nadležnih institucija kao i dosadašnji ekološki incidenti?! - vele predstavnici inicijative “Mjesto koje hoće živjeti”, a osnovana je zbog učestalih ekoloških problema kojima se uzrokuje onečišćenja mora.

Zvali su Lučku kapetaniju, koja je, kazali su, bila upoznata s problemom. Iz Kapetanije su odgovorili kako su odmah reagirali čim su doznali da je potopljen brod, još u ponedjeljak.

- Danas smo opet bili tamo jer je netko dojavio da je na tom mjestu uočeno onečišćenje, ali na terenu inspektori ništa nisu našli - kazao je Željko Kuštera, zapovjednik Lučke kapetanije. Dodao je kako je brod u raspremi te da nije plovio minimalno godinu dana.

- Vlasnik je podnio zahtjev za raspremu tako da ima minimum posade na brodu koja ga čuva. Zbog toga, nije došlo do onečišćenja, jer brod ne plovi već neko vrijeme i nije imao goriva. Mi smo poduzeli sve mjere, ogradili tu lokaciju, napravili zapisnik, obavijestili vlasnika koji će platiti troškove vađenja broda -  objasnio je Kuštera.

Ne samo zbog ovog incidenta, mještani Vranjica i predstavnici inicijative “Mjesto koje hoće živjeti” ogorčeni su (ne)radom odgovornih, bez obzira na njihove učestale apele.

- Godinama već upozoravamo na stanje u 'Salonitu' koji nije saniran od azbesta, u kojem vlada kaos koji očito svima odgovora. Brušenje plastičnih brodova, pituravanje i korištenje epoksi smole bez ikakvih ekoloških standarda. Već duže vrijeme upozoravamo na broj brodova koji je veći nego što je zakonom dopušteno na vezu - ponovo ukazuju na problem mještani Vranjica, ali za sad se ne nazire rješenje jer odgovorni, kažu, ignoriraju problem.

- Nažalost, kod nas se treba dogoditi neka katastrofa da se nešto poduzme. Hoće li se sada nešto poduzeti ili će se bezakonje nastaviti po starom i Salonit štiti kao zaštićenu vrstu - pitaju se ogorčeni Vranjičani.

Posljednja dva dana mještani Vranjica žive sa smradom nafte. Nije samo zaudaralo, uljane fleke, kažu nam sugovornici, plutale su na površini mora i ukazivale im put do uzroka još jednog ekološkog problema u tom mjestu. Otkrili su potopljen brod na području bivše tvornice “Salonit” iz kojeg se, upozorili su, izlijevala nafta, a pišu da se sanacija odrađuje "polijevanjem Čarlija po površini mora gdje je nafta".

- I ovaj incident se pokušao zataškati. Nikakvo upozorenje nije poslano nego se postupalo kao da se ništa nije dogodilo. Tko će odgovarati za ovaj incident ili će se opet proći 'ispod radara' nadležnih institucija kao i dosadašnji ekološki incidenti?! - vele predstavnici inicijative “Mjesto koje hoće živjeti”, a osnovana je zbog učestalih ekoloških problema kojima se...
