Čini se da je hajka na AstraZenecu bila nepotrebna – nova studija Sveučilišta Oxford pokazuje da je nuspojava stvaranja krvnih ugrušaka približno jednako prisutna i kod mRna cjepiva Pfizer i Moderna.

Prema još nerecenziranoj studiji objavljenoj 14. travnja, koju je prenio američki znanstveni portal The Scientist, cerebralnu vensku trombozu (CVT) nakon dobivanja cjepiva Pfizer ili Moderna dožive četiri osobe na milijun ljudi, dok za AstraZenecu ta brojka iznosi pet osoba na milijun ljudi.

Vidimo, razlika je neznatna: obje brojke su približno podjednako male. Vektorsko cjepivo ne nosi bitno veći rizik od mRNA cjepiva.

Nasuprot tome, rizik od CVT-a puno je veći ako dobijete koronu – 39 osoba na milijun bolesnih. Deset puta više nego ako se cijepite Pfizerom, osam puta više nego ako se cijepite AstraZenecom.

Konkretno, od 489.871 pacijenta koji su primili mRNA cjepivo (Pfizer ili Moderna), vensku trombozu u roku od dva tjedna nakon cijepljenja dobilo je njih dvoje, što daje četiri osobe na milijun cijepljenih. A od 513.284 bolesnika s COVID-19, vensku trombozu u roku od dva tjedna nakon dijagnoze razvilo je njih dvadeset, što daje 39 osoba na milijun pacijenata.

Drugim riječima, ako ste u strahu od krvnih ugrušaka, puno prije ćete ih dobiti ako se ne cijepite – pa fasujete koronu – nego ako se cijepite, neovisno hoćete li uzeti Pfizer ili AstraZenecu: rizici kod oba cjepiva skoro su podjednako neznatni.

Ovi nalazi ukazuju da su napadi na cjepivo AstraZeneca – čije je korištenje u mnogim europskim zemljama ograničeno, a u nekima i obustavljeno – bili neopravdani, što potiče i sumnje da ih je organizirala farmaceutska konkurencija.

Slučaj doktora Michaela

Proteklih tjedana tako smo svjedočili općoj medijskoj ofenzivi na AstraZenecu, dok su se eventualni sporni događaji i nuspojave kod američkih mRNA cjepiva minorizirali ili posve ignorirali. To potvrđuje i priča iz siječnja ove godine, kad je američki liječnik Gregory Michael umro 16 dana nakon primanja cjepiva Pfizer, nakon što je u međuvremenu razvio neobičan poremećaj krvi.

Ovaj 56-godišnji ginekolog iz Miami Beacha, inače potpuno zdrav i bez ikakvih komorbiditeta, Pfizerovo cjepivo primio je 19. prosinca prošle godine, te je 22. prosinca hospitaliziran, da bi 3. siječnja umro od krvarenja u mozgu.

„Ubrzo nakon primanja cjepiva, dr. Michael razvio je izuzetno ozbiljan oblik akutne imunološke trombocitopenije, što je spriječilo njegovu krv da se pravilno zgruša”, pisao je u siječnju New York Times, tumačeći da pri takvom poremećaju imunološki sustav tijela pogrešno napada fragmente vlastitih trombocita.

„Dva dana prije krajnjeg zahvata, dobio je hemoragijski moždani udar uzrokovan nedostatkom trombocita, koji mu je oduzeo život u nekoliko minuta”, objavila je tada liječnikova supruga Heidi Neckelmann.

No mediji se nisu pretjerano bavili tim slučajem, a kompanija Pfizer tada je ustvrdila da „aktivno istražuje” slučaj, ali kako „ne vjeruje da postoji izravna povezanost s cjepivom”.

Nakon tri mjeseca istrage, 8. travnja objavljen je nalaz medicinske komisije, koja je solomunski ustvrdila da dr. Michael jest umro nakon cijepljenja, ali kako nema dovoljno dokaza da je  njegova smrt povezana s cijepljenjem:

„S obzirom na povijest, obdukciju, toksikologiju i laboratorijske nalaze, uzrok smrti su komplikacije imunološke trombocitopenije nakon primitka cjepiva SARS-CoV-2”, stoji u izvještaju, uz završnu opasku: „Na temelju trenutno poznatih okolnosti, način smrti je prirodan.”

Zaključno možemo reći: na temelju trenutno poznatih okolnosti, AstraZenaca nije riskantnije cjepivo od Pfizera, a oba cjepiva su znatno manje riskantna od necijepljenja.

Čini se da je hajka na AstraZenecu bila nepotrebna – nova studija Sveučilišta Oxford pokazuje da je nuspojava stvaranja krvnih ugrušaka približno jednako prisutna i kod mRna cjepiva Pfizer i Moderna.

Prema još nerecenziranoj studiji objavljenoj 14. travnja, koju je prenio američki znanstveni portal The Scientist, cerebralnu vensku trombozu (CVT) nakon dobivanja cjepiva Pfizer ili Moderna dožive četiri osobe na milijun ljudi, dok za AstraZenecu ta brojka iznosi pet osoba na milijun ljudi.

Vidimo, razlika je neznatna: obje brojke su približno podjednako male. Vektorsko cjepivo ne nosi bitno veći rizik od mRNA cjepiva.

Nasuprot tome, rizik od CVT-a puno je veći ako dobijete koronu – 39 osoba na milijun bolesnih. Deset puta više nego ako se cijepite Pfizerom, osam puta više nego ako se cijepite AstraZenecom.

Konkretno, od 489.871 pacijenta koji su primili mRNA cjepivo (Pfizer ili Moderna), vensku trombozu u roku od dva tjedna nakon cijepljenja dobilo je njih dvoje, što daje četiri osobe na milijun cijepljenih. A od 513.284 bolesnika s COVID-19, vensku trombozu u roku od dva tjedna nakon dijagnoze razvilo je njih dvadeset, što daje 39 osoba na milijun pacijenata.

Drugim riječima, ako ste u strahu od krvnih ugrušaka, puno prije ćete ih dobiti ako se ne cijepite – pa fasujete koronu – nego ako se cijepite, neovisno hoćete li uzeti Pfizer ili AstraZenecu: rizici kod oba cjepiva skoro su podjednako neznatni.

Ovi nalazi ukazuju da su napadi na cjepivo AstraZeneca – čije je korištenje u mnogim europskim zemljama ograničeno, a u nekima i obustavljeno – bili neopravdani, što potiče i sumnje da ih je organizirala farmaceutska konkurencija.

Slučaj doktora Michaela

Proteklih tjedana tako smo svjedočili općoj medijskoj ofenzivi na AstraZenecu, dok su se eventualni sporni događaji i nuspojave kod američkih mRNA cjepiva minorizirali ili posve ignorirali. To potvrđuje i priča iz siječnja ove godine, kad je američki liječnik Gregory Michael umro 16 dana nakon primanja cjepiva Pfizer, nakon što je u međuvremenu razvio neobičan poremećaj krvi.

Ovaj 56-godišnji ginekolog iz Miami Beacha, inače potpuno zdrav i bez ikakvih komorbiditeta, Pfizerovo cjepivo primio je 19. prosinca prošle godine, te je 22. prosinca hospitaliziran, da bi 3. siječnja umro od krvarenja u mozgu.

„Ubrzo nakon primanja cjepiva, dr. Michael razvio je izuzetno ozbiljan oblik akutne imunološke trombocitopenije, što je spriječilo njegovu krv da se pravilno zgruša”, pisao je u siječnju New York Times, tumačeći da pri takvom poremećaju imunološki sustav tijela pogrešno napada fragmente vlastitih trombocita.

„Dva dana prije krajnjeg zahvata, dobio je hemoragijski moždani udar uzrokovan nedostatkom trombocita, koji mu je oduzeo život u nekoliko minuta”, objavila je tada liječnikova supruga Heidi Neckelmann.

No mediji se nisu pretjerano bavili tim slučajem, a kompanija Pfizer tada je ustvrdila da „aktivno istražuje” slučaj, ali kako „ne vjeruje da postoji izravna povezanost s cjepivom”.

Nakon tri mjeseca istrage, 8. travnja objavljen je nalaz medicinske komisije, koja je solomunski ustvrdila da dr. Michael jest umro nakon cijepljenja, ali kako nema dovoljno dokaza da je  njegova smrt povezana s cijepljenjem:

„S obzirom na povijest, obdukciju, toksikologiju i laboratorijske nalaze, uzrok smrti su komplikacije imunološke trombocitopenije nakon primitka cjepiva SARS-CoV-2”, stoji u izvještaju, uz završnu opasku: „Na temelju trenutno poznatih okolnosti, način smrti je prirodan.”

Zaključno možemo reći: na temelju trenutno poznatih okolnosti, AstraZenaca nije riskantnije cjepivo od Pfizera, a oba cjepiva su znatno manje riskantna od necijepljenja.

Nova studija pokazala: krvni ugrušci se kod Pfizera i Moderne pojavljuju skoro jednako kao i kod AstraZenece, ovo su brojke na milijun cijepljenih

Čini se da je hajka na AstraZenecu bila nepotrebna – nova studija Sveučilišta Oxford pokazuje da je nuspojava stvaranja krvnih ugrušaka približno jednako prisutna i kod mRna cjepiva Pfizer i Moderna.

Prema još nerecenziranoj studiji objavljenoj 14. travnja, koju je prenio američki znanstveni portal The Scientist, cerebralnu vensku trombozu (CVT) nakon dobivanja cjepiva Pfizer ili Moderna dožive četiri osobe na milijun ljudi, dok za AstraZenecu ta brojka iznosi pet osoba na milijun ljudi.

Vidimo, razlika je neznatna: obje brojke su približno podjednako male. Vektorsko cjepivo ne nosi bitno veći rizik od mRNA cjepiva.

Nasuprot tome, rizik od CVT-a puno je veći ako dobijete koronu – 39 osoba na milijun bolesnih. Deset puta više nego ako se cijepite Pfizerom, osam puta više nego ako se cijepite AstraZenecom.

Konkretno, od 489.871 pacijenta koji su primili mRNA cjepivo (Pfizer ili Moderna), vensku trombozu u roku od dva tjedna nakon cijepljenja dobilo je njih dvoje, što daje četiri osobe na milijun cijepljenih. A od 513.284 bolesnika s COVID-19, vensku trombozu u roku od dva tjedna nakon dijagnoze razvilo je njih dvadeset, što daje 39 osoba na milijun pacijenata.

Drugim riječima, ako ste u strahu od krvnih ugrušaka, puno prije ćete ih dobiti ako se ne cijepite – pa fasujete koronu – nego ako se cijepite, neovisno hoćete li uzeti Pfizer ili AstraZenecu: rizici kod oba cjepiva skoro su podjednako neznatni.
