U ove tople listopadske dane još uvijek znatan broj turista kreće u obilazak starom povijesnom rutom od centra grada ulicama Gorice, onom Jurja Dalmatinca i slikovitoga Doca sve do šibenske plaže Banj.
Pošli smo tim tragom do dolačkoga Kvartira uz zidine Bebediktinskog samostana iz 13. stoljeća, gdje jedva dopire koja zraka svjetlosti.
Prisjetili smo se doba s kraja sedamdesetih godina kad su se u Docu snimali kadrovi pustolovnog filma „Putnici sa Splandida“, staroga jedrenjaka kakav je za tu svrhu bio privezan uz rivu.

U Buti što izlazi k moru, bila je načinjena konoba gdje su snimljeni kadrovi toga filma s Borisom Dvornikom i Ivicom Vidovićem. S njima smo se u stankama snimanja na tom mjestu i družili.
Izlaskom pred dolačku rivu zapljusnulo nas je sunce i miris mora. Pod istegnutom barkom skupina dokonih u razgovoru o moru, vremenu i ribolovu.

Šetači svih dobi, među njima još podosta stranaca, hode dalje šetnicom do plaže Banj. Zastali smo kod Veslačkoga doma gdje su se mladi članovi VK „Krka“ spremali na trening u svojim čamcima.
Negdje na tome mjestu znali smo prije dugo godina susresti i legendu šibenskoga veslanja Damira Trlaju, u skifu ili u četvercu. On je bio i član onog „Krkina“ osmerca koji je u jednoj regati u šibenskome portu pobijedio goste čuvenog osmerca iz engleskog Oxforda.

Zamijetili smo na jednome grebenu strpljivoga ribiča Juru iz Zlarina koji lovi špariće, dok mu društvo čini gizdavi labud.

Dospjeli smo na kraju do naše zadnje točke, prelijepe plaže Banja, sigurno s najboljom “infrastrukturom“ ne samo u gradu. Na terasi ugostiteljskog objekta "Patrus“ odakle gledamo Šibenik kao na dlanu, kao golemu piramidu, posjetitelji uživaju u blistavu sunčanu popodnevu a na plaži se banja skupina kupača. Jedna Njemica nam je samo dobacila uz smiješak: “Very atractive place“
Upitali smo konobara Denisa kako im je protekla sezona. „Na nogama“,odgovorio je poslužujući nas kapučinom. Možemo biti zadovoljni. Bit ćemo tvoreni do kraja godine“.
A kad se sunca u blagome crvenilu stalo primicati Martinskoj na zapadu, krenuli isti putom natrag puni dojmova.

U ove tople listopadske dane još uvijek znatan broj turista kreće u obilazak starom povijesnom rutom od centra grada ulicama Gorice, onom Jurja Dalmatinca i slikovitoga Doca sve do šibenske plaže Banj.
Pošli smo tim tragom do dolačkoga Kvartira uz zidine Bebediktinskog samostana iz 13. stoljeća, gdje jedva dopire koja zraka svjetlosti.
Prisjetili smo se doba s kraja sedamdesetih godina kad su se u Docu snimali kadrovi pustolovnog filma „Putnici sa Splandida“, staroga jedrenjaka kakav je za tu svrhu bio privezan uz rivu.

U Buti što izlazi k moru, bila je načinjena konoba gdje su snimljeni kadrovi toga filma s Borisom Dvornikom i Ivicom Vidovićem. S njima smo se u stankama snimanja na tom mjestu i družili.
Izlaskom pred dolačku rivu zapljusnulo nas je sunce i miris mora. Pod istegnutom barkom skupina dokonih u razgovoru o moru, vremenu i ribolovu.

Šetači svih dobi, među njima još podosta stranaca, hode dalje šetnicom do plaže Banj. Zastali smo kod Veslačkoga doma gdje su se mladi članovi VK „Krka“ spremali na trening u svojim čamcima.
Negdje na tome mjestu znali smo prije dugo godina susresti i legendu šibenskoga veslanja Damira Trlaju, u skifu ili u četvercu. On je bio i član onog „Krkina“ osmerca koji je u jednoj regati u šibenskome portu pobijedio goste čuvenog osmerca iz engleskog Oxforda.

Zamijetili smo na jednome grebenu strpljivoga ribiča Juru iz Zlarina koji lovi špariće, dok mu društvo čini gizdavi labud.
"More je sada čisto, rekao je, lovim špare a zagrize i po koja orada. Dora rekreacija i ribe za večeru“.

Dospjeli smo na kraju do naše zadnje točke, prelijepe plaže Banja, sigurno s najboljom “infrastrukturom“ ne samo u gradu. Na terasi ugostiteljskog objekta "Patrus“ odakle gledamo Šibenik kao na dlanu, kao golemu piramidu, posjetitelji uživaju u blistavu sunčanu popodnevu a na plaži se banja skupina kupača. Jedna Njemica nam je samo dobacila uz smiješak: “Very atractive place“
Upitali smo konobara Denisa kako im je protekla sezona. „Na nogama“,odgovorio je poslužujući nas kapučinom. Možemo biti zadovoljni. Bit ćemo tvoreni do kraja godine“.
A kad se sunca u blagome crvenilu stalo primicati Martinskoj na zapadu, krenuli isti putom natrag puni dojmova.
