Čisti filtar zraka važna je komponenta za pravilan i siguran rad brodskih dizelskih motora, osobito novijih turbodizelaša, kod kojih su čistoća goriva i zraka potrebnog za njegovo optimalno izgaranje ključni za ispravno funkcioniranje.
No, problem zna nastati kad je riječ o intervalima u kojima je potrebno filtar zraka zamijeniti novim, jer neki proizvođači kao optimalno razdoblje navode godinu dana, a neki dvije, naravno uz napomenu da to ovisi i o uvjetima korištenja motora.
Jednostavna ugradnja
Jer, doista, netko će u dvije godine odvoziti tek stotinjak sati ili manje, a netko drugi nekoliko stotina. Pritom i smještaj motora, dovod svježeg zraka te okolni uvjeti mogu pridonositi bržem ili sporijem onečišćenju filtra.
Zbog svega toga je, umjesto nagađanja prema vanjskom izgledu filtra je li vrijeme za njegovu zamjenu, puno bolja opcija ugraditi mjerač njegove efikasnosti, koji će jednostavnim očitavanjem pokazati u kakvom je trenutnom stanju.

Takav mjerač, koji radi na principu vakuumskog mjerenja, lako se može ugraditi na pogodno mjesto iza zračnog filtra, odnosno na sklop kroz koji protječe očišćeni zrak. Dakle, između filtra i ulaza čistog zraka u motor.
Mnogi veći brodski dizelski motori imaju već ugrađene ovakve pokazivače stanja zračnog filtra, a danas se ugrađuju i u bolje manje motore, no moguće ih je kupiti i ugraditi naknadno, pri čemu su napravljeni tako da je instalacija vrlo jednostavna.

Takve pokazivače na tržištu nudi niz brendova.
U svakom slučaju, ako takav mali uređaj ugradite na svoj motor, s lakoćom ćete očitavati stanje filtra ne opterećujući se brojenjem sati rada motora i mjeseci u godini. A kad indikator uđe u crvenu zonu, nema više potrebe za premišljanjem – filtar odmah treba zamijeniti.

No, problem zna nastati kad je riječ o intervalima u kojima je potrebno filtar zraka zamijeniti novim, jer neki proizvođači kao optimalno razdoblje navode godinu dana, a neki dvije, naravno uz napomenu da to ovisi i o uvjetima korištenja motora.
Jednostavna ugradnja
Jer, doista, netko će u dvije godine odvoziti tek stotinjak sati ili manje, a netko drugi nekoliko stotina. Pritom i smještaj motora, dovod svježeg zraka te okolni uvjeti mogu pridonositi bržem ili sporijem onečišćenju filtra.
Zbog svega toga je, umjesto nagađanja prema vanjskom izgledu filtra je li vrijeme za njegovu zamjenu, puno bolja opcija ugraditi mjerač njegove efikasnosti, koji će jednostavnim očitavanjem pokazati u kakvom je trenutnom stanju.

Takav mjerač, koji radi na principu vakuumskog mjerenja, lako se može ugraditi na pogodno mjesto iza zračnog filtra, odnosno na sklop kroz koji protječe očišćeni zrak. Dakle, između filtra i ulaza čistog zraka u motor.
Mnogi veći brodski dizelski motori imaju već ugrađene ovakve pokazivače stanja zračnog filtra, a danas se ugrađuju i u bolje manje motore, no moguće ih je kupiti i ugraditi naknadno, pri čemu su napravljeni tako da je instalacija vrlo jednostavna.
Crvena zona
Takve pokazivače na tržištu nudi niz brendova.
U svakom slučaju, ako takav mali uređaj ugradite na svoj motor, s lakoćom ćete očitavati stanje filtra ne opterećujući se brojenjem sati rada motora i mjeseci u godini. A kad indikator uđe u crvenu zonu, nema više potrebe za premišljanjem – filtar odmah treba zamijeniti.
