Ni najbolja priprema ne može vam garantirati da se u plovidbi neće dogoditi nešto radi čega će se vaš motor ugasiti, ali kvalitetnom pripremom i redovnim pregledom takvu ćete mogućnost barem smanjiti. Vaš osjećaj sigurnosti u prvom redu ovisi o povjerenju koje gajite prema serviseru kojem redovno povjeravate kontrolu svog motora. Naravno, i ovdje bi se rezervnim motorom taj koeficijent dodatno povećao.

Curenje tekućina

Činjenica da se najveći broj intervencija na moru odnosi na plovila koja su ostala bez goriva, bez obzira na razlog, ukazuju na potrebu da sa sobom u kanti nosite rezervu, dovoljnu barem za petnaestak milja plovidbe. Plovila s dva motora imaju problem da im gorivo iz oba rezervoara nestane gotovo istovremeno, pa su neki vlasnici jednom od rezervoara priključili i dodatni tank od nekoliko desetaka litara. Kada se tank jednog motora isprazni u drugom je još dovoljno goriva za plovidbu do sigurnog pristaništa. Ovo sada prakticiraju i neki proizvođači i odmah za jedan motor ugrađuju nešto veći tank.

Kvarovi na motoru rijetko se događaju iznenada. Obično je to neki dugotrajniji proces koji nekakvim predznacima najavljuje skoru mogućnost kvara. Na to najčešće ukazuje curenje nekih tekućina na motoru, a na čistom motoru to je lakše uočljivo. Iz istog razloga dobro je da je i santina ispod motora čista, a ako je prebojena bijelom bojom sva curenja i nečistoće lakše su uočljiva.

Curenja su često predznak budućeg kvara

Kada se plovilo ne koristi svakodnevno, dobra je navika zatvarati ventile usisa mora i dovoda goriva. Naravno, prije sljedećeg paljenja potrebno je provjeriti jesu li otvoreni, a u isto vrijeme baciti oko na stanje u filtru mora i separatoru goriva. Isto tako, ako ne prije svakog paljenja onda barem povremeno, uputno je napraviti vizualnu provjeru motora, stanje remena, područja oko spojeva cijevi, tragove curenja i stanje ispod motora.

U svim uputama za rad motora naći ćete kako je prije svakog paljenja potrebno provjeriti nivo i stanje ulja u motoru, u zatvorenim sistemima hlađenja i nivo rashladne tekućine, te nivo ulja u mjenjaču. Ukoliko to ne provjeravate redovno, potrudite se da barem to bude što češće. Pojava kapljica emulzije na čepu za ulje još ne mora biti kritična, ali jasno ukazuje da je vaš motor negdje počeo miješati vodu i ulje.

Plavičasti dim

Povremeno provjerite i santinu ispod statvene cijevi. Slabije brtvljenje prvo se manifestira povremenim kapanjem, a kasnije se to curenje mora samo povećava. Na starijim modelima dotegnite mazalicu, a na novijim se pripremite za zamjenu gumenog ležaja.

U ulju ne smije biti emulzije

Kada date kontakt, prije paljenja motora provjerite radi li ventilacija strojarnice. Ako ne, otvorite na strojarnici nekakav slobodan dotok zraka. Prije paljenja provjerite rade li komande normalno, jer svako zapinjanje i veći napor ukazuju da se nešto poremetilo, pa je poželjno da ih serviser svakako pregleda. Isto vrijedi i za sistem paljenja.

Nakon paljenja pustite da se motor malo zagrije i provjerite na auspuhu izbacuje li pravilno vodu. Bijeli dim ukazuje da gorivo sagorijeva normalno, a ako primijetite da je dim plavičast, to ukazuje na sagorijevanje ulja u cilindru. Ovo je dobro povremeno provjeravati i tijekom plovidbe.

Ni najbolja priprema ne može vam garantirati da se u plovidbi neće dogoditi nešto radi čega će se vaš motor ugasiti, ali kvalitetnom pripremom i redovnim pregledom takvu ćete mogućnost barem smanjiti. Vaš osjećaj sigurnosti u prvom redu ovisi o povjerenju koje gajite prema serviseru kojem redovno povjeravate kontrolu svog motora. Naravno, i ovdje bi se rezervnim motorom taj koeficijent dodatno povećao.

Curenje tekućina

Činjenica da se najveći broj intervencija na moru odnosi na plovila koja su ostala bez goriva, bez obzira na razlog, ukazuju na potrebu da sa sobom u kanti nosite rezervu, dovoljnu barem za petnaestak milja plovidbe. Plovila s dva motora imaju problem da im gorivo iz oba rezervoara nestane gotovo istovremeno, pa su neki vlasnici jednom od rezervoara priključili i dodatni tank od nekoliko desetaka litara. Kada se tank jednog motora isprazni u drugom je još dovoljno goriva za plovidbu do sigurnog pristaništa. Ovo sada prakticiraju i neki proizvođači i odmah za jedan motor ugrađuju nešto veći tank.

Kvarovi na motoru rijetko se događaju iznenada. Obično je to neki dugotrajniji proces koji nekakvim predznacima najavljuje skoru mogućnost kvara. Na to najčešće ukazuje curenje nekih tekućina na motoru, a na čistom motoru to je lakše uočljivo. Iz istog razloga dobro je da je i santina ispod motora čista, a ako je prebojena bijelom bojom sva curenja i nečistoće lakše su uočljiva.

Kada se plovilo ne koristi svakodnevno, dobra je navika zatvarati ventile usisa mora i dovoda goriva. Naravno, prije sljedećeg paljenja potrebno je provjeriti jesu li otvoreni, a u isto vrijeme baciti oko na stanje u filtru mora i separatoru goriva. Isto tako, ako ne prije svakog paljenja onda barem povremeno, uputno je napraviti vizualnu provjeru motora, stanje remena, područja oko spojeva cijevi, tragove curenja i stanje ispod motora.

U svim uputama za rad motora naći ćete kako je prije svakog paljenja potrebno provjeriti nivo i stanje ulja u motoru, u zatvorenim sistemima hlađenja i nivo rashladne tekućine, te nivo ulja u mjenjaču. Ukoliko to ne provjeravate redovno, potrudite se da barem to bude što češće. Pojava kapljica emulzije na čepu za ulje još ne mora biti kritična, ali jasno ukazuje da je vaš motor negdje počeo miješati vodu i ulje.

Plavičasti dim

Povremeno provjerite i santinu ispod statvene cijevi. Slabije brtvljenje prvo se manifestira povremenim kapanjem, a kasnije se to curenje mora samo povećava. Na starijim modelima dotegnite mazalicu, a na novijim se pripremite za zamjenu gumenog ležaja.

Kada date kontakt, prije paljenja motora provjerite radi li ventilacija strojarnice. Ako ne, otvorite na strojarnici nekakav slobodan dotok zraka. Prije paljenja provjerite rade li komande normalno, jer svako zapinjanje i veći napor ukazuju da se nešto poremetilo, pa je poželjno da ih serviser svakako pregleda. Isto vrijedi i za sistem paljenja.

Nakon paljenja pustite da se motor malo zagrije i provjerite na auspuhu izbacuje li pravilno vodu. Bijeli dim ukazuje da gorivo sagorijeva normalno, a ako primijetite da je dim plavičast, to ukazuje na sagorijevanje ulja u cilindru. Ovo je dobro povremeno provjeravati i tijekom plovidbe.
