Par u Americi tuži kliniku za plodnost nakon što su otkrili da njihova sada odrasla kći nije biološki povezana sa svojim ocem, prenosi BBC.

Mike i Janine Harvey objasnili su da su grešku otkrili tako što su za svoju kćer Jessicu, prije no što je otputovala u Italiju, kupili DNK test.

Test je pokazao da Jessica nema talijanske korijene za koje je vjerovala da ih je naslijedila od oca.

Klinika za plodnost odgovorila je da ozbiljno shvaća optužbe.

Jessica je planirala svoj trideseti rođendan provesti u Italiji, a prije nego što je otišla, roditelji su joj kupili komplet za DNK testiranje kao božićni poklon. 

Ona i suprug planirali su iskoristiti rezultate testa kako bi pronašli daleke rođake. 

Ali rezultati su ih šokirali.

- Stižu mi rezultati testa, sjedim na poslu, otvaram nalaze i vidim malo engleskog porijekla. Ima irskog, velškog, njemačkog. Pitam se gdje su talijanski geni, možda sicilijanski..." - rekla je Jessica američkoj novinskoj mreži CBS News.

Daljnja ispitivanja su pokazala da ne postoji baš nikakva šansa da je ona biološki povezana s ocem.

Mike i Janine su 1991. godine prošli proceduru umjetne oplodnje u bolnici u Ohiu, a sljedeće godine rođena je Jessica. Tijekom postupka, sperma se direktno ubrizgava u matericu kako bi se povećala vjerojatnost trudnoće.

Skoro 30 godina Harveyevi, kažu, nisu posumnjali da nešto nije u redu. Otkriće navedene mješavine gena bilo je "kao da se probudiš u tuđem životu", rekao je Mike.

- Teško je objasniti saznanje da vaša cijela stvarnost nije ono što ste mislili da jest - rekao je on.

U tužbi protiv Summa zdravstvenog sustava (Summa Health System) i doktora Nicholasa Spirtosa, par navodi da je genetski materijal stranca korišten za oplodnju.

Dodaju da je obitelj ušla u trag Jessicinom biološkom ocu, koji je bio na liječenju neplodnosti u isto vrijeme kada i Harveyevi i na istoj klinici.

Jessica je rekla da je razgovarala s njim, a on joj je rekao da mu je drago što je saznao da ipak ima dijete.

U izjavi za CBS News, Summa Health System navodi: "Shvaćamo ovu tvrdnju ozbiljno i razumijemo utjecaj koji ovo ima na obitelj. Nismo se sastali s obitelji niti smo proveli vlastito testiranje".

Ovakve su se zabune događale i ranije tijekom tretmana plodnosti. Prošle godine, jedan par iz Kalifornije rekao je da poduzima pravne radnje jer su 2019. dobili djevojčicu za koju su rekli da im nimalo ne nalikuje. Par je prošao isti tretman oplodnje.

Posle DNK testa, pronašli su par čije gene je imala njihova djevojčica i zajedno odlučili zamijeniti djecu, prenosi BBC.

Par u Americi tuži kliniku za plodnost nakon što su otkrili da njihova sada odrasla kći nije biološki povezana sa svojim ocem, prenosi BBC.

Mike i Janine Harvey objasnili su da su grešku otkrili tako što su za svoju kćer Jessicu, prije no što je otputovala u Italiju, kupili DNK test.

Test je pokazao da Jessica nema talijanske korijene za koje je vjerovala da ih je naslijedila od oca.

Klinika za plodnost odgovorila je da ozbiljno shvaća optužbe.

Jessica je planirala svoj trideseti rođendan provesti u Italiji, a prije nego što je otišla, roditelji su joj kupili komplet za DNK testiranje kao božićni poklon. 

Ona i suprug planirali su iskoristiti rezultate testa kako bi pronašli daleke rođake. 

Ali rezultati su ih šokirali.

Daljnja ispitivanja su pokazala da ne postoji baš nikakva šansa da je ona biološki povezana s ocem.

Mike i Janine su 1991. godine prošli proceduru umjetne oplodnje u bolnici u Ohiu, a sljedeće godine rođena je Jessica. Tijekom postupka, sperma se direktno ubrizgava u matericu kako bi se povećala vjerojatnost trudnoće.

U tužbi protiv Summa zdravstvenog sustava (Summa Health System) i doktora Nicholasa Spirtosa, par navodi da je genetski materijal stranca korišten za oplodnju.

Dodaju da je obitelj ušla u trag Jessicinom biološkom ocu, koji je bio na liječenju neplodnosti u isto vrijeme kada i Harveyevi i na istoj klinici.

Jessica je rekla da je razgovarala s njim, a on joj je rekao da mu je drago što je saznao da ipak ima dijete.

U izjavi za CBS News, Summa Health System navodi: "Shvaćamo ovu tvrdnju ozbiljno i razumijemo utjecaj koji ovo ima na obitelj. Nismo se sastali s obitelji niti smo proveli vlastito testiranje".

Ovakve su se zabune događale i ranije tijekom tretmana plodnosti. Prošle godine, jedan par iz Kalifornije rekao je da poduzima pravne radnje jer su 2019. dobili djevojčicu za koju su rekli da im nimalo ne nalikuje. Par je prošao isti tretman oplodnje.

Posle DNK testa, pronašli su par čije gene je imala njihova djevojčica i zajedno odlučili zamijeniti djecu, prenosi BBC.

Par u Americi tuži kliniku za plodnost nakon što su otkrili da njihova sada odrasla kći nije biološki povezana sa svojim ocem, prenosi BBC.

Mike i Janine Harvey objasnili su da su grešku otkrili tako što su za svoju kćer Jessicu, prije no što je otputovala u Italiju, kupili DNK test.

Test je pokazao da Jessica nema talijanske korijene za koje je vjerovala da ih je naslijedila od oca.

Klinika za plodnost odgovorila je da ozbiljno shvaća optužbe.

Jessica je planirala svoj trideseti rođendan provesti u Italiji, a prije nego što je otišla, roditelji su joj kupili komplet za DNK testiranje kao božićni poklon. 

Ona i suprug planirali su iskoristiti rezultate testa kako bi pronašli daleke rođake. 

Ali rezultati su ih šokirali.

- Stižu mi rezultati testa, sjedim na poslu, otvaram nalaze i vidim malo engleskog porijekla. Ima irskog, velškog, njemačkog. Pitam se gdje su talijanski geni, možda sicilijanski..." - rekla je Jessica američkoj novinskoj mreži CBS News.

Daljnja ispitivanja su pokazala da ne postoji baš nikakva šansa da je ona biološki povezana s ocem.

Mike i Janine su 1991. godine prošli proceduru umjetne oplodnje u bolnici u Ohiu, a sljedeće godine rođena je Jessica. Tijekom postupka, sperma se direktno ubrizgava u matericu kako bi se povećala vjerojatnost trudnoće.
