U Facebook grupi “Živi svijet Jadranskog mora” naš poznati morski biolog Petar Kružić poručio je ribarima da ne prodaju ulovljene morske pse, jer su takvi pronalasci izuzetno vrijedni, ne samo za Jadran, već za cijeli Mediteran. Kružić je istaknuo da je ulovljene jedinke nužno proslijediti Institutu za oceanografiju i ribarstvo.

Kako je rekao za N1, ribari su kod Rogoznice ulovili mladu jedinku velike bijele psine (carcharodon carcharias), zaštićene vrste, i potom je prodali za nikakve novce.

Kružić je procijenio da se radi o mladoj jedinki, veličine 1,5 metar, a kako kaže vjerojatno je ulovljena na parangal, dakle, radi se o slučajnom ulovu.

No, postavlja se pitanje zašto taj ulov ribari nisu prijavili nadležnoj instituciji već su je prodali restoranu, a prije toga se i fotografirali s jedinkom.

Naglasimo još jednom da je riječ o zaštićenoj vrsti, kao i da populacije morskih pasa kontinuirano opadaju, prema posljednjem izvješću WWF-a.

“Velika bijela psina ne obitava stalno u Jadranu, povremeno zaluta zbog hrane, tune pretežno. Zadnji napad velike bijele psine na čovjeka bio je kod Visa 2008. i nije bio smrtonosan, kazao je za N1 Alen Soldo, redoviti profesor na Sveučilišnom odjelu za studije mora Sveučilišta u Splitu.

Tri potencijalno opasne vrste u Jadranu

Profesor Soldo za N1 je istaknuo da u Jadranu obitavaju 33 vrste morskih pasa, od kojih su tri potencijalno opasne, a to su dugonosa i atlantska psina te velika bijela psina.

“Atlantska psina stalna je naša vrsta, na otvorenom moru je uglavnom i manje je dostupna ribarskim alatima”, istaknuo je naš poznati stručnjak.

Frane Madiraca, doktorand na Sveučilištu u Hamburgu rekao je za N1:

“To je vrlo veliki pronalazak, riječ je o juvenilnom primjerku. Pojavljuje se u Jadranu, standardna zabilježena fauna, to je autohtona vrsta u Mediteranu. Ovo je vrlo velika životinja, znatiželjna je, ako vidi čovjeka, može mu se približiti i provjeriti o čemu se radi. Morski psi u principu ne napadaju ljude zbog hrane.

U slučaju da uočite ovakvu jedinku, treba držati distancu i pokazati poštovanje. Treba se umiriti, skloniti se na sigurno, ne raditi buku na moru. Također, treba stati vertikalno na moru, jer horizontala sugerira da smo ranjivi.”

Šanse da je majka ulovljene jedinke negdje u blizini su male, kaže nam Madiraca, i dodaje da se juvenilni psi sami kreću te da je jedinka već odvojena od obitelji. Za kraj navodi da odrasle jedinke narastu do 6 – 6,5 metara.

U Facebook grupi “Živi svijet Jadranskog mora” naš poznati morski biolog Petar Kružić poručio je ribarima da ne prodaju ulovljene morske pse, jer su takvi pronalasci izuzetno vrijedni, ne samo za Jadran, već za cijeli Mediteran. Kružić je istaknuo da je ulovljene jedinke nužno proslijediti Institutu za oceanografiju i ribarstvo.

Kako je rekao za N1, ribari su kod Rogoznice ulovili mladu jedinku velike bijele psine (carcharodon carcharias), zaštićene vrste, i potom je prodali za nikakve novce.

Kružić je procijenio da se radi o mladoj jedinki, veličine 1,5 metar, a kako kaže vjerojatno je ulovljena na parangal, dakle, radi se o slučajnom ulovu.

No, postavlja se pitanje zašto taj ulov ribari nisu prijavili nadležnoj instituciji već su je prodali restoranu, a prije toga se i fotografirali s jedinkom.

Naglasimo još jednom da je riječ o zaštićenoj vrsti, kao i da populacije morskih pasa kontinuirano opadaju, prema posljednjem izvješću WWF-a.

“Velika bijela psina ne obitava stalno u Jadranu, povremeno zaluta zbog hrane, tune pretežno. Zadnji napad velike bijele psine na čovjeka bio je kod Visa 2008. i nije bio smrtonosan, kazao je za N1 Alen Soldo, redoviti profesor na Sveučilišnom odjelu za studije mora Sveučilišta u Splitu.

Tri potencijalno opasne vrste u Jadranu

Profesor Soldo za N1 je istaknuo da u Jadranu obitavaju 33 vrste morskih pasa, od kojih su tri potencijalno opasne, a to su dugonosa i atlantska psina te velika bijela psina.

“Atlantska psina stalna je naša vrsta, na otvorenom moru je uglavnom i manje je dostupna ribarskim alatima”, istaknuo je naš poznati stručnjak.

Frane Madiraca, doktorand na Sveučilištu u Hamburgu rekao je za N1:

“To je vrlo veliki pronalazak, riječ je o juvenilnom primjerku. Pojavljuje se u Jadranu, standardna zabilježena fauna, to je autohtona vrsta u Mediteranu. Ovo je vrlo velika životinja, znatiželjna je, ako vidi čovjeka, može mu se približiti i provjeriti o čemu se radi. Morski psi u principu ne napadaju ljude zbog hrane.

U slučaju da uočite ovakvu jedinku, treba držati distancu i pokazati poštovanje. Treba se umiriti, skloniti se na sigurno, ne raditi buku na moru. Također, treba stati vertikalno na moru, jer horizontala sugerira da smo ranjivi.”

U Facebook grupi “Živi svijet Jadranskog mora” naš poznati morski biolog Petar Kružić poručio je ribarima da ne prodaju ulovljene morske pse, jer su takvi pronalasci izuzetno vrijedni, ne samo za Jadran, već za cijeli Mediteran. Kružić je istaknuo da je ulovljene jedinke nužno proslijediti Institutu za oceanografiju i ribarstvo.

Kako je rekao za N1, ribari su kod Rogoznice ulovili mladu jedinku velike bijele psine (carcharodon carcharias), zaštićene vrste, i potom je prodali za nikakve novce.

Kružić je procijenio da se radi o mladoj jedinki, veličine 1,5 metar, a kako kaže vjerojatno je ulovljena na parangal, dakle, radi se o slučajnom ulovu.

No, postavlja se pitanje zašto taj ulov ribari nisu prijavili nadležnoj instituciji već su je prodali restoranu, a prije toga se i fotografirali s jedinkom.

Naglasimo još jednom da je riječ o zaštićenoj vrsti, kao i da populacije morskih pasa kontinuirano opadaju, prema posljednjem izvješću WWF-a.

“Velika bijela psina ne obitava stalno u Jadranu, povremeno zaluta zbog hrane, tune pretežno. Zadnji napad velike bijele psine na čovjeka bio je kod Visa 2008. i nije bio smrtonosan, kazao je za N1 Alen Soldo, redoviti profesor na Sveučilišnom odjelu za studije mora Sveučilišta u Splitu.

Tri potencijalno opasne vrste u Jadranu

Profesor Soldo za N1 je istaknuo da u Jadranu obitavaju 33 vrste morskih pasa, od kojih su tri potencijalno opasne, a to su dugonosa i atlantska psina te velika bijela psina.

“Atlantska psina stalna je naša vrsta, na otvorenom moru je uglavnom i manje je dostupna ribarskim alatima”, istaknuo je naš poznati stručnjak.

Frane Madiraca, doktorand na Sveučilištu u Hamburgu rekao je za N1:

“To je vrlo veliki pronalazak, riječ je o juvenilnom primjerku. Pojavljuje se u Jadranu, standardna zabilježena fauna, to je autohtona vrsta u Mediteranu. Ovo je vrlo velika životinja, znatiželjna je, ako vidi čovjeka, može mu se približiti i provjeriti o čemu se radi. Morski psi u principu ne napadaju ljude zbog hrane.

U slučaju da uočite ovakvu jedinku, treba držati distancu i pokazati poštovanje. Treba se umiriti, skloniti se na sigurno, ne raditi buku na moru. Također, treba stati vertikalno na moru, jer horizontala sugerira da smo ranjivi.”
