Pod geslom "Vukovar - mjesto posebnog pijeteta" danas se obilježava 31. obljetnica bitke za Vukovar i okupacije tog grada, a središnji događaj je Kolona sjećanja kojom se odaje počast svim žrtvama Vukovara. U koloni sudjeluju brojni branitelji, gosti, izaslanstva hrvatskih županija te državni vrh.

Izaslanstvo Zadarske županije predvodi župan Božidar Longin uz kojeg su potpredsjednik Županijske skupštine Željko Šoša te pročelnik UO za hrvatske branitelje, udruge, demografiju i socijalnu politiku Josip Vidov.

Župan Longin je danas u Vukovaru istaknuo:

- Vukovar je simbol hrvatskog otpora, borbe za slobodu, herojstva, brojnih znanih i neznanih junaka, a tragedija koja se dogodila ovdje u Vukovaru i Škabrnji trajno će ostati upisana u sjećanje hrvatskog naroda. Sjećamo se žrtve, slavimo herojstvo Grada Vukovara i njegovih stanovnika, podsjećamo mlađe naraštaje na zločin koji se dogodio na ovom prostoru i koji se više nikad ne smije ponoviti. Naša je obaveza iskazati poštovanje i sjećanje na žrtvu, pokloniti se svima čijom je krvlju natopljena ova zemlja. Sinoć sam posjetio Škabrnju i odao počast žrtvama, kao što to činim više puta tijekom godine jer je riječ o mojoj županiji, a kao župan nikada nisam bio u Koloni sjećanja u Vukovaru. Zato sam ponosan i ponizan ove godine kročiti križnim putem zajedno s hrvatskim braniteljima Vukovara i cijele Hrvatske, ali po prvi puta i s danas odraslim ljudima koji su kao djeca preživjeli ratna razaranja Vukovara.

Pod geslom "Vukovar - mjesto posebnog pijeteta" danas se obilježava 31. obljetnica bitke za Vukovar i okupacije tog grada, a središnji događaj je Kolona sjećanja kojom se odaje počast svim žrtvama Vukovara. U koloni sudjeluju brojni branitelji, gosti, izaslanstva hrvatskih županija te državni vrh.

Izaslanstvo Zadarske županije predvodi župan Božidar Longin uz kojeg su potpredsjednik Županijske skupštine Željko Šoša te pročelnik UO za hrvatske branitelje, udruge, demografiju i socijalnu politiku Josip Vidov.

Župan Longin je danas u Vukovaru istaknuo:

- Vukovar je simbol hrvatskog otpora, borbe za slobodu, herojstva, brojnih znanih i neznanih junaka, a tragedija koja se dogodila ovdje u Vukovaru i Škabrnji trajno će ostati upisana u sjećanje hrvatskog naroda. Sjećamo se žrtve, slavimo herojstvo Grada Vukovara i njegovih stanovnika, podsjećamo mlađe naraštaje na zločin koji se dogodio na ovom prostoru i koji se više nikad ne smije ponoviti. Naša je obaveza iskazati poštovanje i sjećanje na žrtvu, pokloniti se svima čijom je krvlju natopljena ova zemlja. Sinoć sam posjetio Škabrnju i odao počast žrtvama, kao što to činim više puta tijekom godine jer je riječ o mojoj županiji, a kao župan nikada nisam bio u Koloni sjećanja u Vukovaru. Zato sam ponosan i ponizan ove godine kročiti križnim putem zajedno s hrvatskim braniteljima Vukovara i cijele Hrvatske, ali po prvi puta i s danas odraslim ljudima koji su kao djeca preživjeli ratna razaranja Vukovara.

Župan Longin u Koloni sjećanja u Vukovaru: "Tragedija koja se dogodila ovdje i u Škabrnji trajno će ostati upisana u sjećanje hrvatskog naroda"

Pod geslom "Vukovar - mjesto posebnog pijeteta" danas se obilježava 31. obljetnica bitke za Vukovar i okupacije tog grada, a središnji događaj je Kolona sjećanja kojom se odaje počast svim žrtvama Vukovara. U koloni sudjeluju brojni branitelji, gosti, izaslanstva hrvatskih županija te državni vrh.

Izaslanstvo Zadarske županije predvodi župan Božidar Longin uz kojeg su potpredsjednik Županijske skupštine Željko Šoša te pročelnik UO za hrvatske branitelje, udruge, demografiju i socijalnu politiku Josip Vidov.

Župan Longin je danas u Vukovaru istaknuo:

- Vukovar je simbol hrvatskog otpora, borbe za slobodu, herojstva, brojnih znanih i neznanih junaka, a tragedija koja se dogodila ovdje u Vukovaru i Škabrnji trajno će ostati upisana u sjećanje hrvatskog naroda. Sjećamo se žrtve, slavimo herojstvo Grada Vukovara i njegovih stanovnika, podsjećamo mlađe naraštaje na zločin koji se dogodio na ovom prostoru i koji se više nikad ne smije ponoviti. Naša je obaveza iskazati poštovanje i sjećanje na žrtvu, pokloniti se svima čijom je krvlju natopljena ova zemlja. Sinoć sam posjetio Škabrnju i odao počast žrtvama, kao što to činim više puta tijekom godine jer je riječ o mojoj županiji, a kao župan nikada nisam bio u Koloni sjećanja u Vukovaru. Zato sam ponosan i ponizan ove godine kročiti križnim putem zajedno s hrvatskim braniteljima Vukovara i cijele Hrvatske, ali po prvi puta i s danas odraslim ljudima koji su kao djeca preživjeli ratna razaranja Vukovara.
