Legendarni Damir Mihanović Ćubi napustio nas je na Novu godinu prije četiri godine nakon kratke i teške bolesti koja mu je dijagnosticirana nekoliko tjedana prije nego je preminuo u splitskoj bolnici u 59. godini. Preminuo je na rukama prijatelja Giovannija Kovačića. Prije nego je uzeo zadnji dah pitao je kako su mu žena i djeca. Ćubi je iza sebe ostavio suprugu i dvojicu sinova.

- A onda mi je šapćući rekao, kao da je znao da je kraj, da mu čuvam njegove, da ih pazim, da mu budem kraj sinova, da bdijem nad njima. Rekao mi je da mu kažem sinu Marinu, starijem, da čuva mamu, baku i brata. Meni je kazao da budem tu kada im bude trebao neko blizak. Rekao mi je, budi uz njih. Čuvaj mi ih. Pitao me da mu dam ruku. Uhvatio sam ga za ruku. Zagrlio sam ga. Rekao mi je - spava mi se. Spustio je glavu. I umro. Moj mi je prijatelj umro na rukama - ispričao nam je tad Ćubijev prijatelj Giovanni Kovačić.

Ćubi do posljednjeg trenutka nije gubio optimizam, a ovako je govorio o životu i smrti neposredno prije nego što je preminuo.

- Isplati se živjeti jedino za obitelj i prijatelje. Ovo drugo je irelevantno. Nije bitna vila sa šest katova. Ne može ti stat u grob vila sa šest katova. Stvarno živimo za krive vrijednosti. Kad kaže netko: ‘Izgradio sam kuću s kaminom za 30 ljudi’,  ja pitam ‘Di ti je 29 ljudi kad ih nemaš’ - rekao je Ćubi.

Televizijska publika pamti ga po mnogim serijama, emisijama i showovima, od kojih su najpoznatiji uloga Nevena i Romana iz zabavnih serijala "Jel‘ me netko tražio" i "Nad lipom 35". Osim na televiziji, glumio je i u predstavama, a bio je i uspješan glazbenik te bubnjar grupe Forum. Mnogi su uživali u njegovom specifičnom humoru, a njime je osvajao publiku na Facebooku do posljednjeg dana.

Legendarni Damir Mihanović Ćubi napustio nas je na Novu godinu prije četiri godine nakon kratke i teške bolesti koja mu je dijagnosticirana nekoliko tjedana prije nego je preminuo u splitskoj bolnici u 59. godini. Preminuo je na rukama prijatelja Giovannija Kovačića. Prije nego je uzeo zadnji dah pitao je kako su mu žena i djeca. Ćubi je iza sebe ostavio suprugu i dvojicu sinova.

- A onda mi je šapćući rekao, kao da je znao da je kraj, da mu čuvam njegove, da ih pazim, da mu budem kraj sinova, da bdijem nad njima. Rekao mi je da mu kažem sinu Marinu, starijem, da čuva mamu, baku i brata. Meni je kazao da budem tu kada im bude trebao neko blizak. Rekao mi je, budi uz njih. Čuvaj mi ih. Pitao me da mu dam ruku. Uhvatio sam ga za ruku. Zagrlio sam ga. Rekao mi je - spava mi se. Spustio je glavu. I umro. Moj mi je prijatelj umro na rukama - ispričao nam je tad Ćubijev prijatelj Giovanni Kovačić.

Ćubi do posljednjeg trenutka nije gubio optimizam, a ovako je govorio o životu i smrti neposredno prije nego što je preminuo.

- Isplati se živjeti jedino za obitelj i prijatelje. Ovo drugo je irelevantno. Nije bitna vila sa šest katova. Ne može ti stat u grob vila sa šest katova. Stvarno živimo za krive vrijednosti. Kad kaže netko: ‘Izgradio sam kuću s kaminom za 30 ljudi’,  ja pitam ‘Di ti je 29 ljudi kad ih nemaš’ - rekao je Ćubi.

Televizijska publika pamti ga po mnogim serijama, emisijama i showovima, od kojih su najpoznatiji uloga Nevena i Romana iz zabavnih serijala "Jel‘ me netko tražio" i "Nad lipom 35". Osim na televiziji, glumio je i u predstavama, a bio je i uspješan glazbenik te bubnjar grupe Forum. Mnogi su uživali u njegovom specifičnom humoru, a njime je osvajao publiku na Facebooku do posljednjeg dana.

Legendarni Damir Mihanović Ćubi napustio nas je na Novu godinu prije četiri godine nakon kratke i teške bolesti koja mu je dijagnosticirana nekoliko tjedana prije nego je preminuo u splitskoj bolnici u 59. godini. Preminuo je na rukama prijatelja Giovannija Kovačića. Prije nego je uzeo zadnji dah pitao je kako su mu žena i djeca. Ćubi je iza sebe ostavio suprugu i dvojicu sinova.

- A onda mi je šapćući rekao, kao da je znao da je kraj, da mu čuvam njegove, da ih pazim, da mu budem kraj sinova, da bdijem nad njima. Rekao mi je da mu kažem sinu Marinu, starijem, da čuva mamu, baku i brata. Meni je kazao da budem tu kada im bude trebao neko blizak. Rekao mi je, budi uz njih. Čuvaj mi ih. Pitao me da mu dam ruku. Uhvatio sam ga za ruku. Zagrlio sam ga. Rekao mi je - spava mi se. Spustio je glavu. I umro. Moj mi je prijatelj umro na rukama - ispričao nam je tad Ćubijev prijatelj Giovanni Kovačić.

Ćubi do posljednjeg trenutka nije gubio optimizam, a ovako je govorio o životu i smrti neposredno prije nego što je preminuo.

- Isplati se živjeti jedino za obitelj i prijatelje. Ovo drugo je irelevantno. Nije bitna vila sa šest katova. Ne može ti stat u grob vila sa šest katova. Stvarno živimo za krive vrijednosti. Kad kaže netko: ‘Izgradio sam kuću s kaminom za 30 ljudi’,  ja pitam ‘Di ti je 29 ljudi kad ih nemaš’ - rekao je Ćubi.
