Čelnica demokrata u američkom Kongresu Nancy Pelosi u petak je s američkom vojskom razgovarala o tome kako spriječiti Donalda Trumpa, "neuravnoteženog predsjednika", da se koristi nuklearnim šiframa, zaprijetivši da će poduzeti korake u Kongresu ne ode li brzo s vlasti.

"Jutros sam razgovarala telefonom s načelnikom američkog glavnog stožera Markom Milleyjem o tome što se može učiniti kako nestabilan predsjednik ne bi potaknuo vojne sukobe ili pristupio lansirnim šiframa i naredio nuklearni napad", napisala je predsjednica Zastupničkog doma u pismu kolegama zastupnicima.

"Situacija s ovim neuravnoteženim predsjednikom ne može biti opasnija", dodala je, najavivši da će Kongres poduzeti korake ako Trump "brzo i dragovoljno" ne ode iz Bijele kuće, ne navodeći o kakvim je koracima riječ. Potonji treba prepustiti vlast Joeu Bidenu 20. siječnja.

Glasnogovornik generala Marka Milleyja, pukovnik Dave Butler potvrdio je za AFP informaciju o tom razgovoru.
Nancy Pelosi je "nazvala načelnika glavnog stožera. Odgovorio je na njezina pitanja o nuklearnom zapovjednom lancu", rekao je, ne ulazeći u pojedinosti razgovora.

Američki predsjednik je i zapovjednik oružanih snaga. Može izdati naredbu za aktiviranje nuklearne šifre načelniku strateškog zapovjedništva koji je prenosi nuklearnim bazama ako je naredba legalna.

Donald Trump, 45. američki predsjednik treba predati vlast Joeu Bidenu 20. siječnja, ali je Nancy Pelosi rekla u četvrtak da se preostali dani mogu pretvoriti u "film strave i užasa za Ameriku".

U srijedu su pristaše Donalda Trumpa provalili u Kongres, gdje se održavala sjednica na kojoj se trebala potvrditi pobjeda Joea Bidena, što je potaknulo nasilne prizore kaosa.

Republikanski milijarder je prethodno još jednom odbio priznati poraz na predsjedničkim izborima pred svojim pristašama okupljenim ispred Bijele kuće, pozivajući ih da "u miru" pođu na Capitol.

Nancy Pelosi je u četvrtak optužila republikanskog milijardera da je "poticao na oružanu pobunu protiv Amerike" i pozvala njegova potpredsjednika Mikea Pencea da se pozove na 25. amandman Ustava i smijeni Trumpa s vlasti.

U protivnom bi Kongres "mogao početi postupak opoziva", dodala je predsjednica Zastupničkog doma koja na toj dužnosti može pokrenuti takvu proceduru.

"Još se nadamo da će nam što je prije moguće dati potvrdan odgovor", navela je u petak u svom pismu. "Ako predsjednik brzo i dragovoljno ne ode s dužnosti, Kongres će poduzeti korake".

Čelnica demokrata u američkom Kongresu Nancy Pelosi u petak je s američkom vojskom razgovarala o tome kako spriječiti Donalda Trumpa, "neuravnoteženog predsjednika", da se koristi nuklearnim šiframa, zaprijetivši da će poduzeti korake u Kongresu ne ode li brzo s vlasti.

"Jutros sam razgovarala telefonom s načelnikom američkog glavnog stožera Markom Milleyjem o tome što se može učiniti kako nestabilan predsjednik ne bi potaknuo vojne sukobe ili pristupio lansirnim šiframa i naredio nuklearni napad", napisala je predsjednica Zastupničkog doma u pismu kolegama zastupnicima.

"Situacija s ovim neuravnoteženim predsjednikom ne može biti opasnija", dodala je, najavivši da će Kongres poduzeti korake ako Trump "brzo i dragovoljno" ne ode iz Bijele kuće, ne navodeći o kakvim je koracima riječ. Potonji treba prepustiti vlast Joeu Bidenu 20. siječnja.

Glasnogovornik generala Marka Milleyja, pukovnik Dave Butler potvrdio je za AFP informaciju o tom razgovoru.
Nancy Pelosi je "nazvala načelnika glavnog stožera. Odgovorio je na njezina pitanja o nuklearnom zapovjednom lancu", rekao je, ne ulazeći u pojedinosti razgovora.

Američki predsjednik je i zapovjednik oružanih snaga. Može izdati naredbu za aktiviranje nuklearne šifre načelniku strateškog zapovjedništva koji je prenosi nuklearnim bazama ako je naredba legalna.

Donald Trump, 45. američki predsjednik treba predati vlast Joeu Bidenu 20. siječnja, ali je Nancy Pelosi rekla u četvrtak da se preostali dani mogu pretvoriti u "film strave i užasa za Ameriku".

U srijedu su pristaše Donalda Trumpa provalili u Kongres, gdje se održavala sjednica na kojoj se trebala potvrditi pobjeda Joea Bidena, što je potaknulo nasilne prizore kaosa.

Republikanski milijarder je prethodno još jednom odbio priznati poraz na predsjedničkim izborima pred svojim pristašama okupljenim ispred Bijele kuće, pozivajući ih da "u miru" pođu na Capitol.

Nancy Pelosi je u četvrtak optužila republikanskog milijardera da je "poticao na oružanu pobunu protiv Amerike" i pozvala njegova potpredsjednika Mikea Pencea da se pozove na 25. amandman Ustava i smijeni Trumpa s vlasti.

U protivnom bi Kongres "mogao početi postupak opoziva", dodala je predsjednica Zastupničkog doma koja na toj dužnosti može pokrenuti takvu proceduru.

"Još se nadamo da će nam što je prije moguće dati potvrdan odgovor", navela je u petak u svom pismu. "Ako predsjednik brzo i dragovoljno ne ode s dužnosti, Kongres će poduzeti korake".

Čelnica demokrata u američkom Kongresu Nancy Pelosi u petak je s američkom vojskom razgovarala o tome kako spriječiti Donalda Trumpa, "neuravnoteženog predsjednika", da se koristi nuklearnim šiframa, zaprijetivši da će poduzeti korake u Kongresu ne ode li brzo s vlasti.

"Jutros sam razgovarala telefonom s načelnikom američkog glavnog stožera Markom Milleyjem o tome što se može učiniti kako nestabilan predsjednik ne bi potaknuo vojne sukobe ili pristupio lansirnim šiframa i naredio nuklearni napad", napisala je predsjednica Zastupničkog doma u pismu kolegama zastupnicima.

"Situacija s ovim neuravnoteženim predsjednikom ne može biti opasnija", dodala je, najavivši da će Kongres poduzeti korake ako Trump "brzo i dragovoljno" ne ode iz Bijele kuće, ne navodeći o kakvim je koracima riječ. Potonji treba prepustiti vlast Joeu Bidenu 20. siječnja.

Glasnogovornik generala Marka Milleyja, pukovnik Dave Butler potvrdio je za AFP informaciju o tom razgovoru.
Nancy Pelosi je "nazvala načelnika glavnog stožera. Odgovorio je na njezina pitanja o nuklearnom zapovjednom lancu", rekao je, ne ulazeći u pojedinosti razgovora.

Američki predsjednik je i zapovjednik oružanih snaga. Može izdati naredbu za aktiviranje nuklearne šifre načelniku strateškog zapovjedništva koji je prenosi nuklearnim bazama ako je naredba legalna.

Donald Trump, 45. američki predsjednik treba predati vlast Joeu Bidenu 20. siječnja, ali je Nancy Pelosi rekla u četvrtak da se preostali dani mogu pretvoriti u "film strave i užasa za Ameriku".

U srijedu su pristaše Donalda Trumpa provalili u Kongres, gdje se održavala sjednica na kojoj se trebala potvrditi pobjeda Joea Bidena, što je potaknulo nasilne prizore kaosa.

Republikanski milijarder je prethodno još jednom odbio priznati poraz na predsjedničkim izborima pred svojim pristašama okupljenim ispred Bijele kuće, pozivajući ih da "u miru" pođu na Capitol.

Nancy Pelosi je u četvrtak optužila republikanskog milijardera da je "poticao na oružanu pobunu protiv Amerike" i pozvala njegova potpredsjednika Mikea Pencea da se pozove na 25. amandman Ustava i smijeni Trumpa s vlasti.

U protivnom bi Kongres "mogao početi postupak opoziva", dodala je predsjednica Zastupničkog doma koja na toj dužnosti može pokrenuti takvu proceduru.

"Još se nadamo da će nam što je prije moguće dati potvrdan odgovor", navela je u petak u svom pismu. "Ako predsjednik brzo i dragovoljno ne ode s dužnosti, Kongres će poduzeti korake".
