Specijalist patofiziologije i pulmologije te šef Katedre za patologiju na Sečenovskom sveučilištu u Moskvi, dr. Sergej Boljević među prvima je primio rusko cjepivo protiv koronavirusa Sputnik V.
U međuvremenu je 2. prosinca primio i drugu dozu i u razgovoru za "Slobodnu" kaže nam da se osjeća izvrsno.
Javio nam se iz Moskve, optimističan zbog činjenice da se sve više ljudi u svijetu cijepi protiv koronavirusa, te da će uskoro vakcina biti dostupna i građanima zemalja Europske unije.
Primili ste i drugu dozu ruskog cjepiva. Jeste li sad do kraja zaštićeni od COVID-a?
- Osjećam se doista odlično! Antitijela su se već pojavila nakon prve doze koju sam dobio u studenome, a sad ćemo vidjeti kakva je situacija nakon što sam primio i drugu dozu. Prva i druga doza primaju se u razmaku od 21 dan, a onda još treba pričekati 21 dan da bi se stekao kompletan imunitet. Već sad sam dosta zaštićen, a 22. prosinca, nakon 42 dana od prvog cijepljenja, imat ću potpuni imunitet.
Osjećate li kakve nuspojave?
- Ne, ne osjećam.
Koliko je do sada ljudi primilo cjepivo Sputnik V?
- Više od 200.000. U Moskvi se može cijepiti na 70 mjesta, a vakcina je poslana u svih 85 ruskih regija. Ljudi su počeli shvaćati da bez cjepiva nema zaustavljanja ove epidemije.

Bilo je dosta kontroverzi oko sigurnosti tog cjepiva. Je li vas strah od nuspojava?
- Nije, ja sam pulmolog i patofiziolog i znam da je cjepivo rađeno prema svim znanstvenim principima. Po kilaži spadam u rizične skupine i odlučio sam se cijepiti. Kao što znamo, cjepivo je bazirano na vektorskom principu drugog virusa - adenovirusa. Ključan aspekt za nas je da je ovaj vektor iznimno dobro istraživan posljednjih desetljeća. Više od 20 tisuća ljudi sudjelovalo je u kliničkim istraživanjima cjepiva i lijekova s ljudskim adenovirusima. Adenovirus se koristi od sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća i u cjepivima američke vojske, što znači da su tako cijepljeni milijuni američkih vojnika.
U Rusiji je još uvijek velik broj zaraženih, umrlo je više od 47 tisuća ljudi…
- Da, ali vidimo da brojke lagano padaju. Imamo svaki dan oko 25.000 ili 26.000 tisuća novozaraženih, ali na cijelu Rusiju to nije tako puno. Moskva je prije nekoliko dana imala oko sedam ili osam tisuća zaraženih dnevno, sad je to oko pet tisuća. Padat će to sve više, samo dok cijepljenje krene aktivno, odnosno kad prođe 28 do 30 dana od prve doze jer je toliko dana potrebno da se stvori prvi imunitet na SARS-CoV-2.
I američki redatelj Oliver Stone, trostruki oskarovac, cijepio se Sputnikom...
- Da, ovo mu je prva doza, čeka ga još jedna.
Nije meni nimalo čudno što se odlučio cijepiti baš ovim cjepivom. Rusija ima bogato iskustvo s razvojem cjepiva. Institut "Gamalej" radi na cjepivu već 40 godina. Prije 25 godina oni su prvi proizveli vektorsko cjepivo koje u svojoj osnovi ima neki virus.
Ta vektorska cjepiva već su napravili protiv groznice ebola, MERS-a, bliskoistočnog koronavirusa koji je vrlo sličan COVID-u 19 i kada su došli do spoznaje da treba napraviti cjepivo protiv koronavirusa, oni su već imali osnovu na kojoj su radili 25 godina. Na tu su osnovu dodali novu komponentu, genetički materijal iz koronavirusa.

Znate li u kojoj je fazi suradnja između britanske farmaceutske kompanije AstraZeneca i ruskog Instituta "Gamaleja" koji je proizveo cjepivo Sputnik V?
- Oni su potpisali dogovor kojim provode ubrzano istraživanje o učincima kombinacije dvaju cjepiva, tako da bi jedna doza bila AstraZenece, a druga Sputnika. U Rusiji su zadovoljni što jedan od svoja dva vektora mogu podijeliti s AstraZenecom kako bi se povećala učinkovitost njihova cjepiva. Kombinacija dvaju različitih vektora iz dvaju cjepiva trebala bi rezultirati većom učinkovitošću nego samo jedan vektor.
Koje su još zemlje naručile rusko cjepivo?
- Indija, Brazil, Kina, Argentina, Meksiko, Južna Koreja, Saudijska Arabija… Od zemalja u Europi, Mađarska i Srbija već su prije razgovarale s Rusima o Sputniku…

Specijalist patofiziologije i pulmologije te šef Katedre za patologiju na Sečenovskom sveučilištu u Moskvi, dr. Sergej Boljević među prvima je primio rusko cjepivo protiv koronavirusa Sputnik V.
U međuvremenu je 2. prosinca primio i drugu dozu i u razgovoru za "Slobodnu" kaže nam da se osjeća izvrsno.
Javio nam se iz Moskve, optimističan zbog činjenice da se sve više ljudi u svijetu cijepi protiv koronavirusa, te da će uskoro vakcina biti dostupna i građanima zemalja Europske unije.
Primili ste i drugu dozu ruskog cjepiva. Jeste li sad do kraja zaštićeni od COVID-a?
- Osjećam se doista odlično! Antitijela su se već pojavila nakon prve doze koju sam dobio u studenome, a sad ćemo vidjeti kakva je situacija nakon što sam primio i drugu dozu. Prva i druga doza primaju se u razmaku od 21 dan, a onda još treba pričekati 21 dan da bi se stekao kompletan imunitet. Već sad sam dosta zaštićen, a 22. prosinca, nakon 42 dana od prvog cijepljenja, imat ću potpuni imunitet.
Osjećate li kakve nuspojave?
- Ne, ne osjećam.
Koliko je do sada ljudi primilo cjepivo Sputnik V?
- Više od 200.000. U Moskvi se može cijepiti na 70 mjesta, a vakcina je poslana u svih 85 ruskih regija. Ljudi su počeli shvaćati da bez cjepiva nema zaustavljanja ove epidemije.

Bilo je dosta kontroverzi oko sigurnosti tog cjepiva. Je li vas strah od nuspojava?
- Nije, ja sam pulmolog i patofiziolog i znam da je cjepivo rađeno prema svim znanstvenim principima. Po kilaži spadam u rizične skupine i odlučio sam se cijepiti. Kao što znamo, cjepivo je bazirano na vektorskom principu drugog virusa - adenovirusa. Ključan aspekt za nas je da je ovaj vektor iznimno dobro istraživan posljednjih desetljeća. Više od 20 tisuća ljudi sudjelovalo je u kliničkim istraživanjima cjepiva i lijekova s ljudskim adenovirusima. Adenovirus se koristi od sedamdesetih godina prošlog stoljeća i u cjepivima američke vojske, što znači da su tako cijepljeni milijuni američkih vojnika.
U Rusiji je još uvijek velik broj zaraženih, umrlo je više od 47 tisuća ljudi…
- Da, ali vidimo da brojke lagano padaju. Imamo svaki dan oko 25.000 ili 26.000 tisuća novozaraženih, ali na cijelu Rusiju to nije tako puno. Moskva je prije nekoliko dana imala oko sedam ili osam tisuća zaraženih dnevno, sad je to oko pet tisuća. Padat će to sve više, samo dok cijepljenje krene aktivno, odnosno kad prođe 28 do 30 dana od prve doze jer je toliko dana potrebno da se stvori prvi imunitet na SARS-CoV-2.
I američki redatelj Oliver Stone, trostruki oskarovac, cijepio se Sputnikom...
- Da, ovo mu je prva doza, čeka ga još jedna.
Nije meni nimalo čudno što se odlučio cijepiti baš ovim cjepivom. Rusija ima bogato iskustvo s razvojem cjepiva. Institut "Gamalej" radi na cjepivu već 40 godina. Prije 25 godina oni su prvi proizveli vektorsko cjepivo koje u svojoj osnovi ima neki virus.
Ta vektorska cjepiva već su napravili protiv groznice ebola, MERS-a, bliskoistočnog koronavirusa koji je vrlo sličan COVID-u 19 i kada su došli do spoznaje da treba napraviti cjepivo protiv koronavirusa, oni su već imali osnovu na kojoj su radili 25 godina. Na tu su osnovu dodali novu komponentu, genetički materijal iz koronavirusa.

Znate li u kojoj je fazi suradnja između britanske farmaceutske kompanije AstraZeneca i ruskog Instituta "Gamaleja" koji je proizveo cjepivo Sputnik V?
- Oni su potpisali dogovor kojim provode ubrzano istraživanje o učincima kombinacije dvaju cjepiva, tako da bi jedna doza bila AstraZenece, a druga Sputnika. U Rusiji su zadovoljni što jedan od svoja dva vektora mogu podijeliti s AstraZenecom kako bi se povećala učinkovitost njihova cjepiva. Kombinacija dvaju različitih vektora iz dvaju cjepiva trebala bi rezultirati većom učinkovitošću nego samo jedan vektor.
Koje su još zemlje naručile rusko cjepivo?
- Indija, Brazil, Kina, Argentina, Meksiko, Južna Koreja, Saudijska Arabija… Od zemalja u Europi, Mađarska i Srbija već su prije razgovarale s Rusima o Sputniku…
