Udruga za poticanje zaštite okoliša, očuvanje prirode te promicanje održivog razvoja i turizma "Lončari” iz Gornjeg Karina, u subotu 5. rujna s početkom u 10 sati, organizira volontersku akciju čišćenja zapadnog prilaza izvoru rijeke Bijele.

Uz sudjelovanje pojedinaca, udruga i institucija, udruga “Lončari” inicira akciju zbrinjavanja otpada na zaštićenom, a zapuštenom području “NATURA 2000”, zapadnom pristupnom putu kanjona rijeke Bijele. Ova ekološka akcija se organizira s ciljem boljeg razumijevanja problema koji je nastao, njegovog konačnog i trajnog rješenje na ovoj lokaciji te izgradnje odgovornijeg odnosa prema prirodi. Akcija čišćenja zakazana je za 10 ujutro, a okupljanje će početi u 9 sati . Osiguran je ručak i majice za sve sudionike.

Od samog polazišta ka izvoru i kanjonu jedan je dio staze posut tonama sitnog, razbijenog stakla koji se tu našao poslije domovinskog rata i od tad nikad nije uklonjeno. Ove staklene krhotine formirale su staklenu utabanu stazu po kojoj šetači neminovno moraju proći te se gubi svaki osjećaj šetanja prirodom. Staklo koje se sakupi, postat će predmet daljeg rada umjetnika na projektu “Trash Art Residence Bijela 2021”. Naime, po završetku sakupljanja stakla, uz pomoć institucija i donatora, objavit ćemo međunarodni javni natječaj “CALL FOR ARTIST”, kroz koji ćemo financirati najkreativniji umjetnički projekt kojim bi se kroz trajnu instalaciju na toj lokaciji educiralo o važnosti našeg odnosa prema prirodi.

Do izvora rijeke Bijele stiže se cestom (makadam i asfalt), koja kreće od odvajanja s jadranske magistrale (pravac Obrovac - Karin Gornji). Na kraju ceste, na oko četiri km udaljenosti od magistrale, nalaze se sela Lončari i Radeke, u kojima živi tek nekoliko obitelji, te je iz tog razloga ovaj kraj zbog svoje izoliranosti tijekom godina postao pogodan za odlaganje otpada, i to krupnog otpada te građevinskog materijala.

Deponij smeća i raznog otpada, nalazi se na dužini od jednog kilometara i više, uz samu cestu koja vodi prema punktu od kojeg se kreće ka izvoru rijeke Bijele. Nažalost i lokalno stanovništvo nastavlja odlagati otpad na ovoj lokaciji te se ne shvaćaju bogatstvo okoliša kojim su okruženo. Do sada nisu poduzete nikakve mjere niti akcije uklanjanja ovog otpada, a nije provedena ni edukacija lokalnog stanovništva kako bi se stvari promijenile na bolje.

Prirodni fenomen

Rijeka Bijela hidro-geološki je fenomen, koja izvire iz špilje na oko 300 metara nadmorske visine. Kanjon ove rijeke koji je djelo zaštićenog područja “NATURA 2000” od otopljenog je vapnenca, te poprima bijelu boju po čemu je ova rijeka dobila ime. Kanjon je nastao na rasjedu dvaju brda uslojenih vapnenaca, ima nekoliko velikih slapova (najviši oko 15-20 m) koji u podnožju formiraju prirodne bazene prozirne zelenkaste boje. Izvor rijeke Bijele je špilja bogata živim organizmima (skakavci, pauci, šišmiši i druge životinje), dužine 225 m, a u kojoj su se u nekoliko povezanih dvorana, vremenom nakupile velike količine pitke vode pročišćene prolaskom kroz kapilarni sustav stijena. Na relativno malom području nalaze se mnogobrojne ugrožene, endemične i zaštićene biljne i životinjske vrste. Ova lokacija, zbog svoje specifične prirode te geografske pozicije (nadomak Novigradskog i Karinskog mora), postala je veoma zanimljiva ljubiteljima prirode, sportašima i turistima.

Udruga za poticanje zaštite okoliša, očuvanje prirode te promicanje održivog razvoja i turizma "Lončari” iz Gornjeg Karina, u subotu 5. rujna s početkom u 10 sati, organizira volontersku akciju čišćenja zapadnog prilaza izvoru rijeke Bijele.

Uz sudjelovanje pojedinaca, udruga i institucija, udruga “Lončari” inicira akciju zbrinjavanja otpada na zaštićenom, a zapuštenom području “NATURA 2000”, zapadnom pristupnom putu kanjona rijeke Bijele. Ova ekološka akcija se organizira s ciljem boljeg razumijevanja problema koji je nastao, njegovog konačnog i trajnog rješenje na ovoj lokaciji te izgradnje odgovornijeg odnosa prema prirodi. Akcija čišćenja zakazana je za 10 ujutro, a okupljanje će početi u 9 sati . Osiguran je ručak i majice za sve sudionike.

Od samog polazišta ka izvoru i kanjonu jedan je dio staze posut tonama sitnog, razbijenog stakla koji se tu našao poslije domovinskog rata i od tad nikad nije uklonjeno. Ove staklene krhotine formirale su staklenu utabanu stazu po kojoj šetači neminovno moraju proći te se gubi svaki osjećaj šetanja prirodom. Staklo koje se sakupi, postat će predmet daljeg rada umjetnika na projektu “Trash Art Residence Bijela 2021”. Naime, po završetku sakupljanja stakla, uz pomoć institucija i donatora, objavit ćemo međunarodni javni natječaj “CALL FOR ARTIST”, kroz koji ćemo financirati najkreativniji umjetnički projekt kojim bi se kroz trajnu instalaciju na toj lokaciji educiralo o važnosti našeg odnosa prema prirodi.

Do izvora rijeke Bijele stiže se cestom (makadam i asfalt), koja kreće od odvajanja s jadranske magistrale (pravac Obrovac - Karin Gornji). Na kraju ceste, na oko četiri km udaljenosti od magistrale, nalaze se sela Lončari i Radeke, u kojima živi tek nekoliko obitelji, te je iz tog razloga ovaj kraj zbog svoje izoliranosti tijekom godina postao pogodan za odlaganje otpada, i to krupnog otpada te građevinskog materijala.

Deponij smeća i raznog otpada, nalazi se na dužini od jednog kilometara i više, uz samu cestu koja vodi prema punktu od kojeg se kreće ka izvoru rijeke Bijele. Nažalost i lokalno stanovništvo nastavlja odlagati otpad na ovoj lokaciji te se ne shvaćaju bogatstvo okoliša kojim su okruženo. Do sada nisu poduzete nikakve mjere niti akcije uklanjanja ovog otpada, a nije provedena ni edukacija lokalnog stanovništva kako bi se stvari promijenile na bolje.

Prirodni fenomen

Rijeka Bijela hidro-geološki je fenomen, koja izvire iz špilje na oko 300 metara nadmorske visine. Kanjon ove rijeke koji je djelo zaštićenog područja “NATURA 2000” od otopljenog je vapnenca, te poprima bijelu boju po čemu je ova rijeka dobila ime. Kanjon je nastao na rasjedu dvaju brda uslojenih vapnenaca, ima nekoliko velikih slapova (najviši oko 15-20 m) koji u podnožju formiraju prirodne bazene prozirne zelenkaste boje. Izvor rijeke Bijele je špilja bogata živim organizmima (skakavci, pauci, šišmiši i druge životinje), dužine 225 m, a u kojoj su se u nekoliko povezanih dvorana, vremenom nakupile velike količine pitke vode pročišćene prolaskom kroz kapilarni sustav stijena. Na relativno malom području nalaze se mnogobrojne ugrožene, endemične i zaštićene biljne i životinjske vrste. Ova lokacija, zbog svoje specifične prirode te geografske pozicije (nadomak Novigradskog i Karinskog mora), postala je veoma zanimljiva ljubiteljima prirode, sportašima i turistima.

Pridružite se velikoj akciji čišćenja područja rijeke Bijele - prirodnog fenomena koji godinama trpi ljudski nemar

Udruga za poticanje zaštite okoliša, očuvanje prirode te promicanje održivog razvoja i turizma "Lončari” iz Gornjeg Karina, u subotu 5. rujna s početkom u 10 sati, organizira volontersku akciju čišćenja zapadnog prilaza izvoru rijeke Bijele.

Uz sudjelovanje pojedinaca, udruga i institucija, udruga “Lončari” inicira akciju zbrinjavanja otpada na zaštićenom, a zapuštenom području “NATURA 2000”, zapadnom pristupnom putu kanjona rijeke Bijele. Ova ekološka akcija se organizira s ciljem boljeg razumijevanja problema koji je nastao, njegovog konačnog i trajnog rješenje na ovoj lokaciji te izgradnje odgovornijeg odnosa prema prirodi. Akcija čišćenja zakazana je za 10 ujutro, a okupljanje će početi u 9 sati . Osiguran je ručak i majice za sve sudionike.

Od samog polazišta ka izvoru i kanjonu jedan je dio staze posut tonama sitnog, razbijenog stakla koji se tu našao poslije domovinskog rata i od tad nikad nije uklonjeno. Ove staklene krhotine formirale su staklenu utabanu stazu po kojoj šetači neminovno moraju proći te se gubi svaki osjećaj šetanja prirodom. Staklo koje se sakupi, postat će predmet daljeg rada umjetnika na projektu “Trash Art Residence Bijela 2021”. Naime, po završetku sakupljanja stakla, uz pomoć institucija i donatora, objavit ćemo međunarodni javni natječaj “CALL FOR ARTIST”, kroz koji ćemo financirati najkreativniji umjetnički projekt kojim bi se kroz trajnu instalaciju na toj lokaciji educiralo o važnosti našeg odnosa prema prirodi.

Do izvora rijeke Bijele stiže se cestom (makadam i asfalt), koja kreće od odvajanja s jadranske magistrale (pravac Obrovac - Karin Gornji). Na kraju ceste, na oko četiri km udaljenosti od magistrale, nalaze se sela Lončari i Radeke, u kojima živi tek nekoliko obitelji, te je iz tog razloga ovaj kraj zbog svoje izoliranosti tijekom godina postao pogodan za odlaganje otpada, i to krupnog otpada te građevinskog materijala.
