Prema Sirijskom opservatoriju za ljudska prava (SOHR) sa sjedištem u Velikoj Britaniji, američke su snage 3. rujna uspostavile treću vojnu bazu u Siriji. Nova baza postavljena je u selu Naqara, samo tri kilometra od Qamishlija u sjeveroistočnoj pokrajini Hasakah. SAD ima još dvije baze, jednu u selu Himo, a drugu u području Tel Fares u blizini zračne luke Qamishli.

Naoružane skupine nedavno su pojačale udare protiv američkih okupacijskih snaga i njihovih regionalnih saveznika zbog ilegalne eksploatacije fosilnih goriva. Sirijska vlada optužila je Sjedinjene Države za krađu prirodnih resursa zemlje, nevjerojatnih 107 milijardi dolara od početka rata 2011. godine. Dana 15. kolovoza, američke snage navodno su opljačkale novu turu sirijske nafte, kada je stotinjak cisterni s gorivom napustilo regiju Jazira bogatu resursima, piše The Cradle. Dva dana prije isti izvori navode kako su kamere zabilježile 84 cisterne na toj ruti. 

Uostalom, visoka američka dužnosnica Dana Stroul je još 2019. objasnila da američka vojska "posjeduje" resursima bogat sjeveroistočni dio Sirije koji kontroliraju takozvane Sirijske demokratske snage (SDF) i koristi ga kao "polugu" u sukobu.

“Sjedinjene Države raspolažu uvjerljivim oblicima utjecaja za oblikovanje ishoda koji bi više pogodovao i štitio interese SAD-a. Prvi je trećina sirijskog teritorija koja je u vlasništvu američke vojske sa svojim lokalnim partnerom, Sirijskim demokratskim snagama. A ta jedna trećina Sirije je bogata resursima - to je gospodarska sila Sirije. Dakle, gdje su ugljikovodici, kao i poljoprivredna moć. Ne radi samo o ovoj trećini sirijskog teritorija koju posjeduju američka vojska i naša oružana prisutnost, kako za borbu protiv ISIS-a, tako i kao poluga za utjecaj na ukupni politički proces za širi sirijski sukob”, rekla je još tada Stoul.

Washington je intenzivirao svoju operaciju iznošenja nafte iz Sirije nakon vlastite ozbiljne energetske krize, koja je pogoršana sankcijama nametnutim ruskom energetskom sektoru.

Ranije ovog mjeseca, sirijsko ministarstvo nafte objavilo je izviješće u kojem stoji da američka vojska opljačka "66.000 barela nafte svaki dan", što iznosi oko 83 posto dnevne proizvodnje nafte u Siriji. U međuvremenu, Sirija pati od energetske krize koja dodatno onesposobljava i onako jedva funkcionalno gospodarstvo ratom rastrgane zemlje i uzrokuje redovite nestanke struje na čitavom njenom teritoriju.

Međutim, izgleda da otimanje fosilnih goriva poput nafte i plina ne zadovoljavaju američke apetite. SAD je također, prema Sirijsko-arapskoj medijskoj agenciji, odgovoran za krađu pšenice u zemlji, dok blizu 55 posto Sirijaca pati od nesigurnosti hrane, prema Svjetskom programu za hranu i taj broj se stalno povećava.

Prema Sirijskom opservatoriju za ljudska prava (SOHR) sa sjedištem u Velikoj Britaniji, američke su snage 3. rujna uspostavile treću vojnu bazu u Siriji. Nova baza postavljena je u selu Naqara, samo tri kilometra od Qamishlija u sjeveroistočnoj pokrajini Hasakah. SAD ima još dvije baze, jednu u selu Himo, a drugu u području Tel Fares u blizini zračne luke Qamishli.

Naoružane skupine nedavno su pojačale udare protiv američkih okupacijskih snaga i njihovih regionalnih saveznika zbog ilegalne eksploatacije fosilnih goriva. Sirijska vlada optužila je Sjedinjene Države za krađu prirodnih resursa zemlje, nevjerojatnih 107 milijardi dolara od početka rata 2011. godine. Dana 15. kolovoza, američke snage navodno su opljačkale novu turu sirijske nafte, kada je stotinjak cisterni s gorivom napustilo regiju Jazira bogatu resursima, piše The Cradle. Dva dana prije isti izvori navode kako su kamere zabilježile 84 cisterne na toj ruti. 

Uostalom, visoka američka dužnosnica Dana Stroul je još 2019. objasnila da američka vojska "posjeduje" resursima bogat sjeveroistočni dio Sirije koji kontroliraju takozvane Sirijske demokratske snage (SDF) i koristi ga kao "polugu" u sukobu.

“Sjedinjene Države raspolažu uvjerljivim oblicima utjecaja za oblikovanje ishoda koji bi više pogodovao i štitio interese SAD-a. Prvi je trećina sirijskog teritorija koja je u vlasništvu američke vojske sa svojim lokalnim partnerom, Sirijskim demokratskim snagama. A ta jedna trećina Sirije je bogata resursima - to je gospodarska sila Sirije. Dakle, gdje su ugljikovodici, kao i poljoprivredna moć. Ne radi samo o ovoj trećini sirijskog teritorija koju posjeduju američka vojska i naša oružana prisutnost, kako za borbu protiv ISIS-a, tako i kao poluga za utjecaj na ukupni politički proces za širi sirijski sukob”, rekla je još tada Stoul.

Washington je intenzivirao svoju operaciju iznošenja nafte iz Sirije nakon vlastite ozbiljne energetske krize, koja je pogoršana sankcijama nametnutim ruskom energetskom sektoru.

Ranije ovog mjeseca, sirijsko ministarstvo nafte objavilo je izviješće u kojem stoji da američka vojska opljačka "66.000 barela nafte svaki dan", što iznosi oko 83 posto dnevne proizvodnje nafte u Siriji. U međuvremenu, Sirija pati od energetske krize koja dodatno onesposobljava i onako jedva funkcionalno gospodarstvo ratom rastrgane zemlje i uzrokuje redovite nestanke struje na čitavom njenom teritoriju.

Međutim, izgleda da otimanje fosilnih goriva poput nafte i plina ne zadovoljavaju američke apetite. SAD je također, prema Sirijsko-arapskoj medijskoj agenciji, odgovoran za krađu pšenice u zemlji, dok blizu 55 posto Sirijaca pati od nesigurnosti hrane, prema Svjetskom programu za hranu i taj broj se stalno povećava.

Prema Sirijskom opservatoriju za ljudska prava (SOHR) sa sjedištem u Velikoj Britaniji, američke su snage 3. rujna uspostavile treću vojnu bazu u Siriji. Nova baza postavljena je u selu Naqara, samo tri kilometra od Qamishlija u sjeveroistočnoj pokrajini Hasakah. SAD ima još dvije baze, jednu u selu Himo, a drugu u području Tel Fares u blizini zračne luke Qamishli.

Naoružane skupine nedavno su pojačale udare protiv američkih okupacijskih snaga i njihovih regionalnih saveznika zbog ilegalne eksploatacije fosilnih goriva.
