Helen Balfors, voditeljica projekata u norveškom konglomeratu Orkli, radi od kuće dulje od većine svojih kolega nakon što se vratila sa skijanja u Italiji u veljači, u vrijeme kada se novi koronavirus počeo širiti Europom.

Majka troje djece kazala je da su, premda je njezina tvrtka uvijek poticala dobru ravnotežu između privatnog i poslovnog života, neki menadžeri tražili od svojih zaposlenika da rade u uredu prije nego je nastupila pandemija.

„Ali sada shvaćaju da jednako dobro funkcionira i rad od kuće”, kazala je. „Trebala sam samo jedan dodatni monitor i tipkovnicu iz ureda, što sam dobila za nekoliko dana”.

Dobro razvijena digitalna infrastruktura pomogla je nordijskim gospodarstvima da prebrode pandemiju bolje od većine Europe.

Britansko gospodarstvo smanjilo se za oko petinu u drugom kvartalu, Španjolska je zabilježila pad od 18,5 posto, a eurozona kao cjelina 11,8 posto.

S druge strane, BDP Finske pao je samo 4,5 posto, dok su Švedska i Norveška zabilježile nešto veći pad od 8,3 odnosno 6,3 posto.

„Bolja digitalna infrastruktura znači da smo brže mogli raditi od kuće. Infrastruktura postoji i navikli smo je koristiti”, rekao je Robert Bergqvist, glavni ekonomist švedske banke SEB.

„To je pomoglo očuvanju proizvodnje i potrošnje”.

Danska, Švedska, Finska i Nizozemska imale su najnaprednija digitalna gospodarstva u Europskoj uniji 2018., pokazalo je istraživanje Europske komisije, na osnovi konektivnosti, ljudskog kapitala, korištenja interneta i raširenosti e-trgovine.

Nordijske zemlje, sjedišta Ericssona i Nokije, bile su na europskom vrhu po radu od kuće i prije pandemije.

U prvoplasiranoj Švedskoj 2019. od kuće je, barem povremeno, radilo nešto manje od trećine radnika, po Europskoj zakladi za poboljšanje uvjeta života i rada (Eurofound). Prosjek za EU bio je oko 10 posto.

Dugoročne prakse fleksibilnog rada, kao što je dopuštanje radnicima da ostanu kod kuće s bolesnom djecom i naglasak na zdravoj ravnoteži između poslovnog i privatnog života dali su poticaj radu od kuće.

Za vrijeme pandemije, oko 60 posto Finaca moglo je raditi od kuće, gotovo dvostruko više nego u Španjolskoj. Švedska i Danska također su dosta iznad europskog prosjeka koji iznosi manje od 40 posto, po podacima Eurofounda.

Tomu je pomogao visok udio radnih mjesta koja se oslanjanju na informacijsku tehnologiju i na kojima je moguć rad od kuće, ali su i poduzeća i pojedinci brzo reagirali i učinili taj digitalni skok.

Zajedno s dobro utvrđenim pravilima za radnike sa skraćenim radnim vremenom, to znači da su radni sati pali manje nego u većini Europe – za 4,2 posto u Norveškoj u drugom kvartalu prema 10,7 posto za cijelu eurozonu, pokazuju podaci Eurofounda.

Budući da su radnici zadržali barem dio prihoda, potrošnja kućanstava dobro se drži.

Ispitivanje Eurofounda pokazalo je da je gotovo 70 posto Šveđana, Finaca i Danaca optimistično u pogledu svoje budućnosti, prema samo 45 posto građana u ostatku Europske unije.

Nordijska gospodarstva pokazala su se otpornima unatoč jako različitim pristupima borbi protiv koronavirusa.

Dok je Švedska zauzela blagi pristup, Norveška, Danska i Finska uvele su strože mjere, a Finska je izolirala glavni grad od ostatka zemlje.

To znači da i drugi čimbenici imaju važnu ulogu.

„Struktura gospodarstva očit je kandidat, dok su mnoge južnoeuropske zemlje više ovisne o turizmu”, rekao je zamjenik guvernera Riksbanka Martin Floden ovaj mjesec.

Turizam čini nešto manje od 15 posto BDP-a u Španjolskoj i Italiji, dvama gospodarstvima najteže pogođenima pandemijom, po podacima Svjetskog vijeća za putovanja i turizam. U Danskoj na turizam otpada 6,6 posto BDP-a, a u Norveškoj 8 posto.

S druge strane, Norveška se morala nositi s padom cijena nafte, a teško je pogođen i švedski automobilski sektor.

No snažne javne financije omogućile su nordijskim zemljama fleksibilnost da se mogu potrošnjom izvući iz neprilika. Norveška je posegnula u svoj državni fond, najveći na svijetu.

Po SEB-u, Nordijci su za mjere izravne potpore gospodarstvu iz proračuna izdvojili iznose u protuvrijednosti od oko 5,5 posto BDP-a, dok su Francuzi izdvojili 4,4 posto, Španjolci 3,7 posto, a Talijani 3,4 posto.

Njemačka je potrošila više, oko 8 posto BDP-a, ali se u drugom kvartalu njezino gospodarstvo smanjilo gotovo 10 posto.

Analitičari upozoravaju da će se na konačnu ocjenu vladinih mjera i mjera središnje banke i posljedica za zdravlje i gospodarstvo morati pričekati s obzirom na rizik od drugog vala zaraza i dugoročnije ciljeve mnogih programa potrošnje.

Rad od kuće, međutim, nastavit će se. Balfors je kazala da se mnogi ljudi sada pitaju zašto bi morali potrošiti cijeli dan na putovanje u Norvešku na sastanke s predstavnicima njezine tvrtke kada postoji tehnologija pomoću koje se sastanci mogu održavati na daljinu.

„To će promijeniti način na koji ljudi doživljavaju rad od kuće. U to sam posve sigurna”, kazala je.

Helen Balfors, voditeljica projekata u norveškom konglomeratu Orkli, radi od kuće dulje od većine svojih kolega nakon što se vratila sa skijanja u Italiji u veljači, u vrijeme kada se novi koronavirus počeo širiti Europom.

Majka troje djece kazala je da su, premda je njezina tvrtka uvijek poticala dobru ravnotežu između privatnog i poslovnog života, neki menadžeri tražili od svojih zaposlenika da rade u uredu prije nego je nastupila pandemija.

„Ali sada shvaćaju da jednako dobro funkcionira i rad od kuće”, kazala je. „Trebala sam samo jedan dodatni monitor i tipkovnicu iz ureda, što sam dobila za nekoliko dana”.

Dobro razvijena digitalna infrastruktura pomogla je nordijskim gospodarstvima da prebrode pandemiju bolje od većine Europe.

Britansko gospodarstvo smanjilo se za oko petinu u drugom kvartalu, Španjolska je zabilježila pad od 18,5 posto, a eurozona kao cjelina 11,8 posto.

S druge strane, BDP Finske pao je samo 4,5 posto, dok su Švedska i Norveška zabilježile nešto veći pad od 8,3 odnosno 6,3 posto.

„Bolja digitalna infrastruktura znači da smo brže mogli raditi od kuće. Infrastruktura postoji i navikli smo je koristiti”, rekao je Robert Bergqvist, glavni ekonomist švedske banke SEB.

„To je pomoglo očuvanju proizvodnje i potrošnje”.

Danska, Švedska, Finska i Nizozemska imale su najnaprednija digitalna gospodarstva u Europskoj uniji 2018., pokazalo je istraživanje Europske komisije, na osnovi konektivnosti, ljudskog kapitala, korištenja interneta i raširenosti e-trgovine.

Nordijske zemlje, sjedišta Ericssona i Nokije, bile su na europskom vrhu po radu od kuće i prije pandemije.

U prvoplasiranoj Švedskoj 2019. od kuće je, barem povremeno, radilo nešto manje od trećine radnika, po Europskoj zakladi za poboljšanje uvjeta života i rada (Eurofound). Prosjek za EU bio je oko 10 posto.

Dugoročne prakse fleksibilnog rada, kao što je dopuštanje radnicima da ostanu kod kuće s bolesnom djecom i naglasak na zdravoj ravnoteži između poslovnog i privatnog života dali su poticaj radu od kuće.

Za vrijeme pandemije, oko 60 posto Finaca moglo je raditi od kuće, gotovo dvostruko više nego u Španjolskoj. Švedska i Danska također su dosta iznad europskog prosjeka koji iznosi manje od 40 posto, po podacima Eurofounda.

Tomu je pomogao visok udio radnih mjesta koja se oslanjanju na informacijsku tehnologiju i na kojima je moguć rad od kuće, ali su i poduzeća i pojedinci brzo reagirali i učinili taj digitalni skok.

Zajedno s dobro utvrđenim pravilima za radnike sa skraćenim radnim vremenom, to znači da su radni sati pali manje nego u većini Europe – za 4,2 posto u Norveškoj u drugom kvartalu prema 10,7 posto za cijelu eurozonu, pokazuju podaci Eurofounda.

Budući da su radnici zadržali barem dio prihoda, potrošnja kućanstava dobro se drži.

Ispitivanje Eurofounda pokazalo je da je gotovo 70 posto Šveđana, Finaca i Danaca optimistično u pogledu svoje budućnosti, prema samo 45 posto građana u ostatku Europske unije.

Nordijska gospodarstva pokazala su se otpornima unatoč jako različitim pristupima borbi protiv koronavirusa.

Dok je Švedska zauzela blagi pristup, Norveška, Danska i Finska uvele su strože mjere, a Finska je izolirala glavni grad od ostatka zemlje.

To znači da i drugi čimbenici imaju važnu ulogu.

„Struktura gospodarstva očit je kandidat, dok su mnoge južnoeuropske zemlje više ovisne o turizmu”, rekao je zamjenik guvernera Riksbanka Martin Floden ovaj mjesec.

Turizam čini nešto manje od 15 posto BDP-a u Španjolskoj i Italiji, dvama gospodarstvima najteže pogođenima pandemijom, po podacima Svjetskog vijeća za putovanja i turizam. U Danskoj na turizam otpada 6,6 posto BDP-a, a u Norveškoj 8 posto.

S druge strane, Norveška se morala nositi s padom cijena nafte, a teško je pogođen i švedski automobilski sektor.

No snažne javne financije omogućile su nordijskim zemljama fleksibilnost da se mogu potrošnjom izvući iz neprilika. Norveška je posegnula u svoj državni fond, najveći na svijetu.

Po SEB-u, Nordijci su za mjere izravne potpore gospodarstvu iz proračuna izdvojili iznose u protuvrijednosti od oko 5,5 posto BDP-a, dok su Francuzi izdvojili 4,4 posto, Španjolci 3,7 posto, a Talijani 3,4 posto.

Njemačka je potrošila više, oko 8 posto BDP-a, ali se u drugom kvartalu njezino gospodarstvo smanjilo gotovo 10 posto.

Analitičari upozoravaju da će se na konačnu ocjenu vladinih mjera i mjera središnje banke i posljedica za zdravlje i gospodarstvo morati pričekati s obzirom na rizik od drugog vala zaraza i dugoročnije ciljeve mnogih programa potrošnje.

Rad od kuće, međutim, nastavit će se. Balfors je kazala da se mnogi ljudi sada pitaju zašto bi morali potrošiti cijeli dan na putovanje u Norvešku na sastanke s predstavnicima njezine tvrtke kada postoji tehnologija pomoću koje se sastanci mogu održavati na daljinu.

„To će promijeniti način na koji ljudi doživljavaju rad od kuće. U to sam posve sigurna”, kazala je.
