[alias] => obama-upozorio-rusiju-ne-podupirite-asadov-rezim [catid] => 241 [published] => 1 [introtext] => [fulltext] => Američki predsjednik Barack Obama u ponedjeljak je pred Općom skupštinom UN-a rekao da države moraju poštivati međunarodni poredak i upozorio Rusiju da ne podupire sirijskog predsjednika Bašara al Asada.

Obama je upozorio da 70 godina nakon potpisivanja UN-ove povelje, neki prigovaraju da postojanje te institucije više nije opravdano i da bi se narodi trebali vratiti starim načinima djelovanja.

U skladu s takvim razmišljanjem vidimo da se neke velike sile ponašaju na način koji je suprotan međunarodnom pravu, smatra Obama. "Po toj logici, svi bismo trebali poduprijeti tiranine poput Bašara al Asada koji na nedužnu djecu bacaju bombe napravljene od bačava, jer je alternativa sigurno gora", rekao je.

Američki predsjednik do kraja dana bi trebao razgovarati s ruskim predsjednikom Vladimirom Putinom. Očekuje se da izvrši pritisak na ruskoga čelnika zbog jačanja ruske vojne nazočnosti u Siriji kojoj je cilj poduprijeti Asadov režim i zbog umješanosti u ukrajinski sukob.

Sjedinjene Države spremne su na suradnju s bilo kojom nacijom, uključujući Rusiju i Iran, da bi se riješio sirijski sukob, no jedino ako te zemlje priznaju da se u Damasku mora ostvariti politička tranzicija.

"Moramo priznati da nakon tolikih pokolja i krvoprolića nema povratka na staro predratno stanje", kazao je Američki predsjednik.

U govoru je spomenuo Ukrajinu te osudio rusku agresiju na tu zemlju, rekavši da svijet ne može samo stajati po strani dok Rusija krši suverenost Ukrajine. Istaknuo je da Amerika ne želi "povratak u vrijeme Hladnoga rata", već želi da Rusija krizu riješi diplomatskim putem.

"Svjesni smo toga da između Rusije i Ukrajine postoji kompleksna povijest, no ne možemo samo stajati po strani dok se suverenitet i teritorijalni integritet te zemlje flagrantno krše. Ako se takvo nešto događa bez ikakvih posljedica u Ukrajini, može se dogoditi u bilo kojoj državi u svijetu", rekao je Američki predsjednik.

Obama je upozorio da 70 godina nakon potpisivanja UN-ove povelje, neki prigovaraju da postojanje te institucije više nije opravdano i da bi se narodi trebali vratiti starim načinima djelovanja.

U skladu s takvim razmišljanjem vidimo da se neke velike sile ponašaju na način koji je suprotan međunarodnom pravu, smatra Obama. "Po toj logici, svi bismo trebali poduprijeti tiranine poput Bašara al Asada koji na nedužnu djecu bacaju bombe napravljene od bačava, jer je alternativa sigurno gora", rekao je.

Američki predsjednik do kraja dana bi trebao razgovarati s ruskim predsjednikom Vladimirom Putinom. Očekuje se da izvrši pritisak na ruskoga čelnika zbog jačanja ruske vojne nazočnosti u Siriji kojoj je cilj poduprijeti Asadov režim i zbog umješanosti u ukrajinski sukob.

Sjedinjene Države spremne su na suradnju s bilo kojom nacijom, uključujući Rusiju i Iran, da bi se riješio sirijski sukob, no jedino ako te zemlje priznaju da se u Damasku mora ostvariti politička tranzicija.

"Moramo priznati da nakon tolikih pokolja i krvoprolića nema povratka na staro predratno stanje", kazao je Američki predsjednik.

U govoru je spomenuo Ukrajinu te osudio rusku agresiju na tu zemlju, rekavši da svijet ne može samo stajati po strani dok Rusija krši suverenost Ukrajine. Istaknuo je da Amerika ne želi "povratak u vrijeme Hladnoga rata", već želi da Rusija krizu riješi diplomatskim putem.

"Svjesni smo toga da između Rusije i Ukrajine postoji kompleksna povijest, no ne možemo samo stajati po strani dok se suverenitet i teritorijalni integritet te zemlje flagrantno krše. Ako se takvo nešto događa bez ikakvih posljedica u Ukrajini, može se dogoditi u bilo kojoj državi u svijetu", rekao je Američki predsjednik.

Američki predsjednik Barack Obama u ponedjeljak je pred Općom skupštinom UN-a rekao da države moraju poštivati međunarodni poredak i upozorio Rusiju da ne podupire sirijskog predsjednika Bašara al Asada.
