Više od 400 privatnih zrakoplova koji prevoze svjetske lidere i poslovne direktore na klimatsku konferenciju u Glasgowu izbacilo je oko 13.000 tona CO2 u atmosferu. Oni su na pregovore doveli više od 1000 VIP osoba i njihovo osoblje koji su se, prema internetskoj stranici konferencije, 'okupili da se posvete hitnoj globalnoj klimatskoj akciji'. Takva praksa, koja će proizvesti više štetnih emisija nego što ih 1600 Škota sagori u godinu dana, prozvani su 'klimatskim licemjerjem' i 'najnižom točkom nejednakosti uzokovane ugljikom', prenosi Daily Record.

U međuvremenu, britanski premijer Boris Johnson se vratio iz Škotske u London, što je 556 kilometara zračne udaljenosti, privatnim zrakoplovom koji također radi na održivo gorivo. Razlog - morao je stići na važnu večeru. Više od 400 privatnih zrakoplova koji prevoze svjetske lidere i poslovne direktore na klimatsku konferenciju u Glasgowu izbacilo je oko 13.000 tona CO2 u atmosferu. Oni su na pregovore doveli više od 1000 VIP osoba i njihovo osoblje koji su se, prema internetskoj stranici konferencije, 'okupili da se posvete hitnoj globalnoj klimatskoj akciji'. Više od 400 privatnih zrakoplova koji prevoze svjetske lidere i poslovne direktore na klimatsku konferenciju u Glasgowu izbacilo je oko 13.000 tona CO2 u atmosferu. Oni su na pregovore doveli više od 1000 VIP osoba i njihovo osoblje koji su se, prema internetskoj stranici konferencije, 'okupili da se posvete hitnoj globalnoj klimatskoj akciji'. Takva praksa, koja će proizvesti više štetnih emisija nego što ih 1600 Škota sagori u godinu dana, prozvani su 'klimatskim licemjerjem' i 'najnižom točkom nejednakosti uzokovane ugljikom', prenosi Daily Record.
