Mali zrakoplov pao je na dalekovode 50-ak kilometara od Washingtona u nedjelju prouzročivši velike prekide struje, a spasilačke službe su i tijekom noći spašavale dvije osobe u zrakoplovu koji je ostao zapetljan u kablove.

Zrakoplov se srušio u maglovitim i vlažnim uvjetima u Montgomery Villageu u Marylandu, prema područnoj vatrogasnoj i spasilačkoj službi.

Zahvatio je dalekovod pod visokim naponom na visini od 30 metara iznad tla.

Udar je izazvao nestanak struje za više od 120.000 potrošača, priopćio je Pepco, komunalna tvrtka s područja Washingtona. Ceste su također bile zatvorene, a mnogi semafori u tom području nisu radili.

Vatrogasci su rekli da su dvije osobe žive, ali zarobljene u zrakoplovu.

Vatrogasni zapovjednik okruga Montgomery Scott Goldstein rekao je da je spasilačka služba s njima u kontaktu te ih zove na mobitele u redovitim intervalima.

"Ne postoji drugi način da se utvrdi je li sigurno pristupiti tornju dok se ne uzemlji, što znači da se ekipa mora sama popeti do žica kako bi stavili stezaljke i kabele na žice" i osigurali da nema statičkog elektriciteta ili struje, rekao je Goldstein novinarima.

Prema FAA-i, zrakoplov Mooney M20J letio je iz Westchestera u New Yorku i trebao je sletjeti u Montgomery Airpark, blizu mjesta nesreće.

Mali zrakoplov pao je na dalekovode 50-ak kilometara od Washingtona u nedjelju prouzročivši velike prekide struje, a spasilačke službe su i tijekom noći spašavale dvije osobe u zrakoplovu koji je ostao zapetljan u kablove.

Zrakoplov se srušio u maglovitim i vlažnim uvjetima u Montgomery Villageu u Marylandu, prema područnoj vatrogasnoj i spasilačkoj službi.

Zahvatio je dalekovod pod visokim naponom na visini od 30 metara iznad tla.

Udar je izazvao nestanak struje za više od 120.000 potrošača, priopćio je Pepco, komunalna tvrtka s područja Washingtona. Ceste su također bile zatvorene, a mnogi semafori u tom području nisu radili.

Vatrogasci su rekli da su dvije osobe žive, ali zarobljene u zrakoplovu.

Vatrogasni zapovjednik okruga Montgomery Scott Goldstein rekao je da je spasilačka služba s njima u kontaktu te ih zove na mobitele u redovitim intervalima.

"Ne postoji drugi način da se utvrdi je li sigurno pristupiti tornju dok se ne uzemlji, što znači da se ekipa mora sama popeti do žica kako bi stavili stezaljke i kabele na žice" i osigurali da nema statičkog elektriciteta ili struje, rekao je Goldstein novinarima.

Prema FAA-i, zrakoplov Mooney M20J letio je iz Westchestera u New Yorku i trebao je sletjeti u Montgomery Airpark, blizu mjesta nesreće.

Mali zrakoplov pao je na dalekovode 50-ak kilometara od Washingtona u nedjelju prouzročivši velike prekide struje, a spasilačke službe su i tijekom noći spašavale dvije osobe u zrakoplovu koji je ostao zapetljan u kablove.

Zrakoplov se srušio u maglovitim i vlažnim uvjetima u Montgomery Villageu u Marylandu, prema područnoj vatrogasnoj i spasilačkoj službi.

Zahvatio je dalekovod pod visokim naponom na visini od 30 metara iznad tla.

Udar je izazvao nestanak struje za više od 120.000 potrošača, priopćio je Pepco, komunalna tvrtka s područja Washingtona. Ceste su također bile zatvorene, a mnogi semafori u tom području nisu radili.

Vatrogasci su rekli da su dvije osobe žive, ali zarobljene u zrakoplovu.
