Prema riječima Maxa Seddona, dopisnika Financial Timesa iz Moskve, Xi je tijekom razgovora izjavio da se nada da će Putin pobijediti na predsjedničkim izborima iduće godine, što predstavlja svojevrsnu potvrdu, o kojoj je Kremlj dosad odbijao govoriti, da će se Putin kandidirati.

---Putin je rekao Xiju da pozdravlja prijedlog Pekinga da se okonča ‘akutna kriza‘ u Ukrajini i da na kineski mirovni plan gleda s poštovanjem.

---Kina i Rusija "dijele slične ciljeve", rekao je kineski predsjednik Xi Jinping na sastanku s ruskim predsjednikom Vladimirom Putinom.
"Istina je da obje naše zemlje dijele iste ili neke slične ciljeve. Uložili smo napore za prosperitet naših zemalja... možemo surađivati i raditi zajedno kako bismo postigli naše ciljeve", rekao je Xi.
"Jako sam sretan što mogu ponovno posjetiti Rusiju, na vaš poziv. I što je Rusija prva zemlja koju sam posjetio nakon ponovnog izbora za predsjednika Kine", rekao je Xi Putinu.

Započeo je sastanak kineskog čelnika Xi Jinpinga i ruskog predsjednika Vladimira Putina u Kremlju.
Danas bi trebao biti održan neformalni ručak na kojemu će se državnici baviti aktualnim temama. Službeni razgovori bit će održani sutra, kako su ranije najavili ruski mediji.
Prema riječima Maxa Seddona, dopisnika Financial Timesa iz Moskve, Xi je tijekom razgovora izjavio da se nada da će Putin pobijediti na predsjedničkim izborima iduće godine, što predstavlja svojevrsnu potvrdu, o kojoj je Kremlj dosad odbijao govoriti, da će se Putin kandidirati.
Putin je rekao Xiju da pozdravlja prijedlog Pekinga da se okonča ‘akutna kriza‘ u Ukrajini i da na kineski mirovni plan gleda s poštovanjem.
