O tome koliko je špijunska mreža KGB-a još od Vladimira Lenjina i Josifa Staljina, te potom njezina nasljednica Federalna sigurnosna služba (FSB), uključena u kreiranje i provođenje ruske državne politike, znaju i ptice na grani. S obzirom na pupčanu povezanost s Vladimirom Putinom i bivšim KGB-om, FSB uživa značajno veću političku važnost od one koju imaju obavještajne agencije u zapadnim zemljama. Pozorno se stoga prate sva zbivanja među ruskim špijunima, a zadnjih tjedana previranja je dosta. 

- Rat u Ukrajini razotkrio je podjele u moskovskoj sigurnosnoj eliti, a FSB i Putin sve su nezadovoljniji međusobnim rješavanjem sukoba, rekao je za britanski The Times stručnjak za ruske tajne službe.

Andrej Soldatov, istraživački novinar i autor knjiga o obavještajnim agencijama Kremlja izjavio je da, iako je FSB općenito podržavao rat i “oni vide da stvari ne idu dobro”.

- Krive službu i naravno samog Putina za pokretanje rata na način na koji je on to učinio", rekao je Soldatov dodajući kako mu se čini da službe sigurnosti pokušavaju napraviti distancu između sebe i vrhovnog zapovjednika.

I Putin je nezadovoljan situacijom u FSB-u, zbog čega je i napravljena čistka stotinjak agenata, no 'glava'  Aleksandra Bortnikova, šefa FSB-a, se ne spominje. On je Putinov bliski prijatelj i suradnik, a poznaju se još od 1970-ih.

Sve osobe koje su u zadnjim čistkama otjerane ili uhapšene, bili su djelatnici Pete službe.Taj je odjel osnovan 1998., (baš kada je Putin bio direktor FSB-a), i to za izvođenje operacija u zemljama bivšeg Sovjetskog Saveza sa zadaćom da ih zadrži unutar ruske orbite. Bivši šef 5. službe Sergej Beseda odveden je u zatvor Lefortovo u Moskvi nakon što je prošlog mjeseca završio u kućnom  pritvoru.

„Beseda je smijenjen jer je dao Kremlju lažne informacije o stvarnoj situaciji u Ukrajini prije invazije, potvrdio je Christo Grozev, za Popular Politics, YouTube kanal s ruskim aktualnostima. Grozev je izvršni direktor Bellingcata, istraživačke organizacije koja je 2018., razotkrila dva trovača iz Salisburyja. Prošlog mjeseca službenici FSB-a također su izvršili pretrese kolega na više od 20 adresa u Moskvi, za koje se sumnjalo da su u kontaktu s novinarima.

Smatra se da je prije invazije na Ukrajinu, Peta služba imala zadatak stvoriti mrežu ukrajinskih prebjega koji bi predvodili marionetsku vlast u Kijevu i zamijenili tim predsjednika Volodimira Zelenskog.

"Kada jedan odjel FSB-a upadne u probleme, kreću napadi sa svih strana, objasnio je Andrej Soldatov, misleći pritom na unutarnju čistku FSB-ovih oficira koja je uslijedila na petom odjelu. Dodao je i kako su mnogi u službi također frustrirani Putinom, koji je i sam bivši agent KGB-a i bivši direktor FSB-a, budući su gubici Rusije u Ukrajini ogromni. Iako su ruske snage ostvarile napredak na jugu i istoku Ukrajine i prijete novom ofenzivom u Donbasu, jasno je da napad na Kijev i druge sjeverne gradove nije uspio. Povijesno gledano, ruska vojska nikada nije predstavljala veliku prijetnju vladarima zemlje, ali ako rat u Ukrajini naruši gospodarske temelje Putinova režima, njegove bi se sigurnosne institucije mogle okrenuti protiv njega, smatraju Andrej Soldatov i Irina Borogan.

Svrgavanja Putina bi zahtijevalo aktivnu ili pasivnu podršku triju glavnih organizacija: ruske vojske, FSB-a i Nacionalne garde Rusije. Za razliku od drugih jako militariziranih društava, u Rusiji je bilo vrlo malo uspješnih pokušaja vojnih udara.

Putin je za njih dio prirode - kao dolazak zime 

“Mnogi u FSB-u su vrlo kritični. Oni misle da su se stvari trebale rješavati drugačije, no ipak ne i toliko kritični da bi se dovela u pitanje smjene šefa FSB-a, komentirao je Soldatov objašnjavajući kako ne vjeruje da je većina FSB-a bila uključena u prvobitnu odluku o ratu. “Oni su ovdje žrtve okolnosti. Odluku je donio vrhovni zapovjednik, i to jako lošu odluku. U FSB-u možda misle da se predsjednik ponaša čudno, ali za mnoge dužnosnike sigurnosnih službi Putin je jedini predsjednik kojeg su ikada poznavali. Za njih je on gotovo dio prirode. Reći da želite novog predsjednika jest kao da kažete da želite otkazati zimu. Ne mogu se zamisliti bez njega - mišljenja je Soldatov.

Za njega je FSB sličniji iranskoj revolucionarnoj gardi nego zapadnim ekvivalentima poput MI6 ili CIA-e.

"U zapadnim društvima posao tajnih službi je prikupljanje obavještajnih podataka. U zemljama poput Rusije njihova glavna zadaća je očuvanje političkog režima. Apsolutno sve se gleda kroz ovu prizmu -  zaključio je Soldatov.

O tome koliko je špijunska mreža KGB-a još od Vladimira Lenjina i Josifa Staljina, te potom njezina nasljednica Federalna sigurnosna služba (FSB), uključena u kreiranje i provođenje ruske državne politike, znaju i ptice na grani. S obzirom na pupčanu povezanost s Vladimirom Putinom i bivšim KGB-om, FSB uživa značajno veću političku važnost od one koju imaju obavještajne agencije u zapadnim zemljama. Pozorno se stoga prate sva zbivanja među ruskim špijunima, a zadnjih tjedana previranja je dosta. 

- Rat u Ukrajini razotkrio je podjele u moskovskoj sigurnosnoj eliti, a FSB i Putin sve su nezadovoljniji međusobnim rješavanjem sukoba, rekao je za britanski The Times stručnjak za ruske tajne službe.

Andrej Soldatov, istraživački novinar i autor knjiga o obavještajnim agencijama Kremlja izjavio je da, iako je FSB općenito podržavao rat i “oni vide da stvari ne idu dobro”.

- Krive službu i naravno samog Putina za pokretanje rata na način na koji je on to učinio", rekao je Soldatov dodajući kako mu se čini da službe sigurnosti pokušavaju napraviti distancu između sebe i vrhovnog zapovjednika.

I Putin je nezadovoljan situacijom u FSB-u, zbog čega je i napravljena čistka stotinjak agenata, no 'glava'  Aleksandra Bortnikova, šefa FSB-a, se ne spominje. On je Putinov bliski prijatelj i suradnik, a poznaju se još od 1970-ih.

Sve osobe koje su u zadnjim čistkama otjerane ili uhapšene, bili su djelatnici Pete službe.Taj je odjel osnovan 1998., (baš kada je Putin bio direktor FSB-a), i to za izvođenje operacija u zemljama bivšeg Sovjetskog Saveza sa zadaćom da ih zadrži unutar ruske orbite. Bivši šef 5. službe Sergej Beseda odveden je u zatvor Lefortovo u Moskvi nakon što je prošlog mjeseca završio u kućnom  pritvoru.

„Beseda je smijenjen jer je dao Kremlju lažne informacije o stvarnoj situaciji u Ukrajini prije invazije, potvrdio je Christo Grozev, za Popular Politics, YouTube kanal s ruskim aktualnostima. Grozev je izvršni direktor Bellingcata, istraživačke organizacije koja je 2018., razotkrila dva trovača iz Salisburyja. Prošlog mjeseca službenici FSB-a također su izvršili pretrese kolega na više od 20 adresa u Moskvi, za koje se sumnjalo da su u kontaktu s novinarima.

Smatra se da je prije invazije na Ukrajinu, Peta služba imala zadatak stvoriti mrežu ukrajinskih prebjega koji bi predvodili marionetsku vlast u Kijevu i zamijenili tim predsjednika Volodimira Zelenskog.

"Kada jedan odjel FSB-a upadne u probleme, kreću napadi sa svih strana, objasnio je Andrej Soldatov, misleći pritom na unutarnju čistku FSB-ovih oficira koja je uslijedila na petom odjelu. Dodao je i kako su mnogi u službi također frustrirani Putinom, koji je i sam bivši agent KGB-a i bivši direktor FSB-a, budući su gubici Rusije u Ukrajini ogromni. Iako su ruske snage ostvarile napredak na jugu i istoku Ukrajine i prijete novom ofenzivom u Donbasu, jasno je da napad na Kijev i druge sjeverne gradove nije uspio. Povijesno gledano, ruska vojska nikada nije predstavljala veliku prijetnju vladarima zemlje, ali ako rat u Ukrajini naruši gospodarske temelje Putinova režima, njegove bi se sigurnosne institucije mogle okrenuti protiv njega, smatraju Andrej Soldatov i Irina Borogan.

Svrgavanja Putina bi zahtijevalo aktivnu ili pasivnu podršku triju glavnih organizacija: ruske vojske, FSB-a i Nacionalne garde Rusije. Za razliku od drugih jako militariziranih društava, u Rusiji je bilo vrlo malo uspješnih pokušaja vojnih udara.

Putin je za njih dio prirode - kao dolazak zime 

“Mnogi u FSB-u su vrlo kritični. Oni misle da su se stvari trebale rješavati drugačije, no ipak ne i toliko kritični da bi se dovela u pitanje smjene šefa FSB-a, komentirao je Soldatov objašnjavajući kako ne vjeruje da je većina FSB-a bila uključena u prvobitnu odluku o ratu. “Oni su ovdje žrtve okolnosti. Odluku je donio vrhovni zapovjednik, i to jako lošu odluku. U FSB-u možda misle da se predsjednik ponaša čudno, ali za mnoge dužnosnike sigurnosnih službi Putin je jedini predsjednik kojeg su ikada poznavali. Za njih je on gotovo dio prirode. Reći da želite novog predsjednika jest kao da kažete da želite otkazati zimu. Ne mogu se zamisliti bez njega - mišljenja je Soldatov.

Za njega je FSB sličniji iranskoj revolucionarnoj gardi nego zapadnim ekvivalentima poput MI6 ili CIA-e.

"U zapadnim društvima posao tajnih službi je prikupljanje obavještajnih podataka. U zemljama poput Rusije njihova glavna zadaća je očuvanje političkog režima. Apsolutno sve se gleda kroz ovu prizmu -  zaključio je Soldatov.
