Pad temperatura odveo nas je u zatvorene prostore, što je pak dovelo do različitih viroza, prehlada, upala i novih sojeva koronavirusa pa sa svih strana dopiru različita šmrcanja, kašljanja i teška disanja.

Među tim bolestima dišnih organa, pa i pluća sve češća je kronična opstruktivna plućna bolest (KOPB).

Riječ je o bolesti čija pojavnost raste najbrže u posljednje vrijeme; u posljednjih pola stoljeća porasla je za čak 163 posto. Prema pobolu i pomoru, KOPB se nalazi na trećem mjestu (nakon srčanog udara i zloćudnih bolesti). Od KOPB-a boluje između 10 i 22 posto odraslog pučanstva starijih od 40 godina. Danas je u svijetu između 300 i 600 milijuna bolesnika s tom bolešću.

– Većina bolesnika prepozna se u uznapredovaloj fazi bolesti kad su promjene na plućima puno veće. Među ranim simptomima prvi je pojačano zamaranje. U početku se javlja kod većeg fizičkog napora, hodanja uz stepenice i planinarenja, kasnije već kod manjeg fizičkog napora, a kod najtežih oblika KOPB-a već u mirovanju, kod pranja zubi, oblačenja…. Drugi simptom je kronični kašalj i iskašljavanje, a glavni je problem što su to uglavnom pušači ili bivši pušači koji misle da je normalno da teško dišu i kašlju zbog pušenja. A zapravo imaju pušačku bolest pluća, odnosno KOPB, kaže prim. dr. Andrea Vukić Dugac, pročelnica Zavoda za respiracijske infekcije na Klinici za plućne bolesti na Rebru, piše Ljerka Bratonja Martinović za Novi list.

– Imamo strahovito zagađenje zraka u čitavom svijetu, prijete nam još gori scenariji i mislimo da će naša djeca bolovati od KOPB-a kao posljedice zraka koji udišu još dok su u kolicima. Bojim se da to nije samo gradska populacija, da ni u seoskim sredinama nije puno bolje, kaže prim. dr. Vukić Dugac.

Rano otkivanje kao životna šansa

– Važno je intenzivirati priču kako bi ljudi otišli na pravodobni pregled. Za KOPB je izuzetno teško raditi ranu dijagnostiku, ali u probiru karcinoma pluća uočili smo da je učestalost KOPB-a među snimkama čak 20 posto. To je ogromni postotak, kaže za Novi list akademik Miroslav Samaržija, predstojnik Klinike za plućne bolesti KBC-a Zagreb.

Pulmolozi s Jordanovca postigli su izniman uspjeh s ranim probirom na rak pluća: nacionalni program niskodoznih CT-a pregleda za rizičnu populaciju dao je sjajne rezultate i prepoznat je na europskoj razini kao model koji treba slijediti. Od listopada 2020. godine do danas kroz taj je program napravljeno više od 11.000 snimanja, a dijagnosticirano je 110 karcinoma pluća te su oni koji su bolest otkrili na vrijeme dobili šansu za život.

– Prvi smo u svijetu po dizajnu ovog programa, a u fokus su došli obiteljski liječnici od kojih počinje priča. Digitalnim putem oni pacijenta naruče na low dose CT, a ovisno o nalazu CT-a, šalju ga preko aplikacije pulmologu na pregled, ili – ako je nalaz negativan – uključuju u daljnje kontrole. Obuhvat na razini Hrvatske je više nego dobar. Plan je bio snimiti 5.000 ljudi godišnje, a mi smo to premašili. Odaziv je i do 95 posto. Prekasno u ovom dijelu Europe saznamo za kliničku sliku pacijenta jer svi su pušači navikli da kašlju i loše dišu, tako da nam nažalost dolaze u poodmakloj fazi, ističe dr. Klinika za plućne bolesti KBC-a Zagreb ostvaruje vrijedne rezultate

Budući da je poznata činjenica kako je rano otkrivanje teških bolesti najbolji put ka izlječenju, raduju napori i uspjesi hrvatskih liječnika. Ali kako se vidi, potrebna je i suradnja pacijenata, odazivanje na rane preglede, neignoriranje simptoma i suočavanje s nezdravim životnim navikama.

Pad temperatura odveo nas je u zatvorene prostore, što je pak dovelo do različitih viroza, prehlada, upala i novih sojeva koronavirusa pa sa svih strana dopiru različita šmrcanja, kašljanja i teška disanja.

Među tim bolestima dišnih organa, pa i pluća sve češća je kronična opstruktivna plućna bolest (KOPB).

Riječ je o bolesti čija pojavnost raste najbrže u posljednje vrijeme; u posljednjih pola stoljeća porasla je za čak 163 posto. Prema pobolu i pomoru, KOPB se nalazi na trećem mjestu (nakon srčanog udara i zloćudnih bolesti). Od KOPB-a boluje između 10 i 22 posto odraslog pučanstva starijih od 40 godina. Danas je u svijetu između 300 i 600 milijuna bolesnika s tom bolešću.

– Većina bolesnika prepozna se u uznapredovaloj fazi bolesti kad su promjene na plućima puno veće. Među ranim simptomima prvi je pojačano zamaranje. U početku se javlja kod većeg fizičkog napora, hodanja uz stepenice i planinarenja, kasnije već kod manjeg fizičkog napora, a kod najtežih oblika KOPB-a već u mirovanju, kod pranja zubi, oblačenja…. Drugi simptom je kronični kašalj i iskašljavanje, a glavni je problem što su to uglavnom pušači ili bivši pušači koji misle da je normalno da teško dišu i kašlju zbog pušenja. A zapravo imaju pušačku bolest pluća, odnosno KOPB, kaže prim. dr. Andrea Vukić Dugac, pročelnica Zavoda za respiracijske infekcije na Klinici za plućne bolesti na Rebru, piše Ljerka Bratonja Martinović za Novi list.

Rano otkivanje kao životna šansa

– Važno je intenzivirati priču kako bi ljudi otišli na pravodobni pregled. Za KOPB je izuzetno teško raditi ranu dijagnostiku, ali u probiru karcinoma pluća uočili smo da je učestalost KOPB-a među snimkama čak 20 posto. To je ogromni postotak, kaže za Novi list akademik Miroslav Samaržija, predstojnik Klinike za plućne bolesti KBC-a Zagreb.

Pulmolozi s Jordanovca postigli su izniman uspjeh s ranim probirom na rak pluća: nacionalni program niskodoznih CT-a pregleda za rizičnu populaciju dao je sjajne rezultate i prepoznat je na europskoj razini kao model koji treba slijediti. Od listopada 2020. godine do danas kroz taj je program napravljeno više od 11.000 snimanja, a dijagnosticirano je 110 karcinoma pluća te su oni koji su bolest otkrili na vrijeme dobili šansu za život.

– Prvi smo u svijetu po dizajnu ovog programa, a u fokus su došli obiteljski liječnici od kojih počinje priča. Digitalnim putem oni pacijenta naruče na low dose CT, a ovisno o nalazu CT-a, šalju ga preko aplikacije pulmologu na pregled, ili – ako je nalaz negativan – uključuju u daljnje kontrole. Obuhvat na razini Hrvatske je više nego dobar. Plan je bio snimiti 5.000 ljudi godišnje, a mi smo to premašili. Odaziv je i do 95 posto. Prekasno u ovom dijelu Europe saznamo za kliničku sliku pacijenta jer svi su pušači navikli da kašlju i loše dišu, tako da nam nažalost dolaze u poodmakloj fazi, ističe dr. Kristina Krpina, koordinatorica Nacionalnog programa za rano otkrivanje raka pluća, piše Novi list.

Budući da je poznata činjenica kako je rano otkrivanje teških bolesti najbolji put ka izlječenju, raduju napori i uspjesi hrvatskih liječnika. Ali kako se vidi, potrebna je i suradnja pacijenata, odazivanje na rane preglede, neignoriranje simptoma i suočavanje s nezdravim životnim navikama.

Pad temperatura odveo nas je u zatvorene prostore, što je pak dovelo do različitih viroza, prehlada, upala i novih sojeva koronavirusa pa sa svih strana dopiru različita šmrcanja, kašljanja i teška disanja.

Među tim bolestima dišnih organa, pa i pluća sve češća je kronična opstruktivna plućna bolest (KOPB).

Riječ je o bolesti čija pojavnost raste najbrže u posljednje vrijeme; u posljednjih pola stoljeća porasla je za čak 163 posto. Prema pobolu i pomoru, KOPB se nalazi na trećem mjestu (nakon srčanog udara i zloćudnih bolesti). Od KOPB-a boluje između 10 i 22 posto odraslog pučanstva starijih od 40 godina. Danas je u svijetu između 300 i 600 milijuna bolesnika s tom bolešću.
