Informacije izraelskog Ministarstva zdravstva da se efikasnost cjepiva BioNtech/Pfizer značajno smanjila posljednjih tjedana na delta soju, zabrinjava epidemiologe. Izraelci su utvrdili da je efikasnost cijepljenja u spriječavanju zaraze pala na 64 posto. No važno je znati da je to efikasnost u slučaju sprječavanja bolesti sa simptomima, dok je cjepivo i dalje vrlo učinkovito od teškog tijeka bolesti i hospitalizacije - 93 posto.

Početkom godine, dok nije bio evidentiran delta soj u Izraelu, tamošnje Ministarstvo zdravstva objavilo da je cjepivo BioNtech/Pfizer sprečavalo COVID s efikasnošću od 95,8 posto. Pojavu simptoma poput povišene temperature i poteškoća s disanjem priječilo je u 98 posto slučajeva, dok je efikasnost u smislu sprječavanja boravka u bolnici, ozbiljnih bolesti i smrti - bila čak 99 posto.

- Informacije iz Izraela su zabrinjavajuće, skok je novooboljelih bez obzira što je 60 posto populacije cijepljeno s obje doze. Zanimljivo je što se tiče delta soja, da je preko 50 posto novooboljele populacije cijepljeno Pfizerovim cjepivom. Ti podaci brinu u smislu da nas možda Pfizerovo cjepivo ne štiti u onoj razini u kojoj smo mislili - 90 posto, istaknuo je riječki imunolog prof. dr. Zlatko Trobonjača.

Gostujući na HRT-u kazao je kako je problem što u nekim zemljama koje su prošle treći val slično kao i Hrvatska, sada svjedočimo ponovnom širenju epidemije zbog dolaska visokozaraznog delta-soja. 

„Potrebna je razina od preko 85 posto kolektivne imunosti da bi se zaustavilo njegovo širenje, što mi nemamo - kazao je Trobonjača.

Prema zadnjim podacima Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo kod nas je procijepljeno 37,3 posto ukupnog stanovništva, odnosno 45 posto odraslog stanovništva. Najveći obuhvat cijepljenih prvom dozom postignut je u Gradu Zagrebu, 43,4 posto ukupnog stanovništva, odnosno 52,7 posto odraslog stanovništva. Izuzev Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županije koja ima solidnu procijepljenost ostale tri dalmatinske županije na samom su dnu po broju cijepljenih.

 Imunolog Trobonjača je kazao kako indijski delta soj ima 15 ili 18 mutacija, a četiri ključne mutacije se nalaze u genomu koji kodira protein šiljka i koji mu daje veliku infektivnost i imunoevazivnost.

Komentirao je i podatak da se ne žele cijepiti medicinski djelatnici.

- To nije dobro i ne ulijeva povjerenje ljudima. Moramo svojim primjerom dati ljudima znak da se cijepe. Epidemije ćemo se riješiti na dva načina - cijepljenjem ili preboljenjem. Ja preporučujem cijepljenje. Cjepiva su učinkovita, preveniraju teške oblike bolesti, a i pokazuju mali broj neželjenih nuspojava - izjavio je na HRT-u.

Što se tiče treće doze, to će kaže ovisiti o situaciji na terenu.

- Ako bude epidemije možda ćemo se trebati docijepiti trećom dozom, a ako je ne bude - onda nećemo. Ovisi i o mutaciji virusa koja će se proširiti, jer ako se prošiti neka nova mutacija koju ovo cjepivo neće neutralizirati, onda ćemo se morati cijepiti, rekao je za HRT-ovu emisiju Dobro jutro, Hrvatska dodavši kako iz Pfizera dolaze informacija da bi se ljudi unutar 12 mjeseci trebali docijepiti.

Informacije izraelskog Ministarstva zdravstva da se efikasnost cjepiva BioNtech/Pfizer značajno smanjila posljednjih tjedana na delta soju, zabrinjava epidemiologe. Izraelci su utvrdili da je efikasnost cijepljenja u spriječavanju zaraze pala na 64 posto. No važno je znati da je to efikasnost u slučaju sprječavanja bolesti sa simptomima, dok je cjepivo i dalje vrlo učinkovito od teškog tijeka bolesti i hospitalizacije - 93 posto.

Početkom godine, dok nije bio evidentiran delta soj u Izraelu, tamošnje Ministarstvo zdravstva objavilo da je cjepivo BioNtech/Pfizer sprečavalo COVID s efikasnošću od 95,8 posto. Pojavu simptoma poput povišene temperature i poteškoća s disanjem priječilo je u 98 posto slučajeva, dok je efikasnost u smislu sprječavanja boravka u bolnici, ozbiljnih bolesti i smrti - bila čak 99 posto.

- Informacije iz Izraela su zabrinjavajuće, skok je novooboljelih bez obzira što je 60 posto populacije cijepljeno s obje doze. Zanimljivo je što se tiče delta soja, da je preko 50 posto novooboljele populacije cijepljeno Pfizerovim cjepivom. Ti podaci brinu u smislu da nas možda Pfizerovo cjepivo ne štiti u onoj razini u kojoj smo mislili - 90 posto, istaknuo je riječki imunolog prof. dr. Zlatko Trobonjača.

Gostujući na HRT-u kazao je kako je problem što u nekim zemljama koje su prošle treći val slično kao i Hrvatska, sada svjedočimo ponovnom širenju epidemije zbog dolaska visokozaraznog delta-soja. 

„Potrebna je razina od preko 85 posto kolektivne imunosti da bi se zaustavilo njegovo širenje, što mi nemamo - kazao je Trobonjača.

Prema zadnjim podacima Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo kod nas je procijepljeno 37,3 posto ukupnog stanovništva, odnosno 45 posto odraslog stanovništva. Najveći obuhvat cijepljenih prvom dozom postignut je u Gradu Zagrebu, 43,4 posto ukupnog stanovništva, odnosno 52,7 posto odraslog stanovništva. Izuzev Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županije koja ima solidnu procijepljenost ostale tri dalmatinske županije na samom su dnu po broju cijepljenih.

 Imunolog Trobonjača je kazao kako indijski delta soj ima 15 ili 18 mutacija, a četiri ključne mutacije se nalaze u genomu koji kodira protein šiljka i koji mu daje veliku infektivnost i imunoevazivnost.

Komentirao je i podatak da se ne žele cijepiti medicinski djelatnici.

- To nije dobro i ne ulijeva povjerenje ljudima. Moramo svojim primjerom dati ljudima znak da se cijepe. Epidemije ćemo se riješiti na dva načina - cijepljenjem ili preboljenjem. Ja preporučujem cijepljenje. Cjepiva su učinkovita, preveniraju teške oblike bolesti, a i pokazuju mali broj neželjenih nuspojava - izjavio je na HRT-u.

Što se tiče treće doze, to će kaže ovisiti o situaciji na terenu.

- Ako bude epidemije možda ćemo se trebati docijepiti trećom dozom, a ako je ne bude - onda nećemo. Ovisi i o mutaciji virusa koja će se proširiti, jer ako se prošiti neka nova mutacija koju ovo cjepivo neće neutralizirati, onda ćemo se morati cijepiti, rekao je za HRT-ovu emisiju Dobro jutro, Hrvatska dodavši kako iz Pfizera dolaze informacija da bi se ljudi unutar 12 mjeseci trebali docijepiti.

Informacije izraelskog Ministarstva zdravstva da se efikasnost cjepiva BioNtech/Pfizer značajno smanjila posljednjih tjedana na delta soju, zabrinjava epidemiologe. Izraelci su utvrdili da je efikasnost cijepljenja u spriječavanju zaraze pala na 64 posto. No važno je znati da je to efikasnost u slučaju sprječavanja bolesti sa simptomima, dok je cjepivo i dalje vrlo učinkovito od teškog tijeka bolesti i hospitalizacije - 93 posto.
