Iako i više nego apsurdno, nažalost je istinito. Britanskoj naftnoj kompaniji, isključivo odgovornoj za katastrofu njihove platforme Deepwater Horiozon u Meksičkom zaljevu porasla je vrijednost dionica za čak pet posto, dok se u međuvremenu trošak saniranja curenja tisuća litara nafte dnevno iz direktno iz bušotine u more popeo na astronomskih 2,33 miljarde funti, odnosno 3,38 miljardi dolara.

Razlog tome možda se nalazi u uspješnom “damage control”, odnosno “kontroli štete” marketingu od BP-a koji danonoćno tvrdi kako tek što nije začepio bušotinu iz koje još od 20 travnja neumorno istječe nafta.

Cijena dionica porasla je unatoč činjenici što prvobitna kupola postavljena da skuplja naftu ne radi posao kako treba, te je već najavljena njezina zamjena. Nije da se britanski naftni div ne trudi popraviti ono što je uprskao, naposljetku na čišćenju radi više od 45 tisuća zaposlenih, a angažirali su i 6400 brodova, no jednostavno im ne ide onako brzo i uspješno kako bi svijet želio.

Najnoviji plan upravo uključuje spomenutu novu kupolu koja bi prema planovima trebala dnevno skupljati više od 50 tisuća barela, a ujedno bi trebala biti puno žilavija protiv nasrtaja uragana čija je sezona počela.

Dosad je skupljeno više od 749 tisuća barela nafte raznim metodama, a do kraja mjeseca kapacitet skupljanja trebao bi se povećati na preko 80.000 barela dnevno.

Iako i više nego apsurdno, nažalost je istinito. Britanskoj naftnoj kompaniji, isključivo odgovornoj za katastrofu njihove platforme Deepwater Horiozon u Meksičkom zaljevu porasla je vrijednost dionica za čak pet posto, dok se u međuvremenu trošak saniranja curenja tisuća litara nafte dnevno iz direktno iz bušotine u more popeo na astronomskih 2,33 miljarde funti, odnosno 3,38 miljardi dolara.

Razlog tome možda se nalazi u uspješnom “damage control”, odnosno “kontroli štete” marketingu od BP-a koji danonoćno tvrdi kako tek što nije začepio bušotinu iz koje još od 20 travnja neumorno istječe nafta.

Cijena dionica porasla je unatoč činjenici što prvobitna kupola postavljena da skuplja naftu ne radi posao kako treba, te je već najavljena njezina zamjena. Nije da se britanski naftni div ne trudi popraviti ono što je uprskao, naposljetku na čišćenju radi više od 45 tisuća zaposlenih, a angažirali su i 6400 brodova, no jednostavno im ne ide onako brzo i uspješno kako bi svijet želio.

Najnoviji plan upravo uključuje spomenutu novu kupolu koja bi prema planovima trebala dnevno skupljati više od 50 tisuća barela, a ujedno bi trebala biti puno žilavija protiv nasrtaja uragana čija je sezona počela.

Dosad je skupljeno više od 749 tisuća barela nafte raznim metodama, a do kraja mjeseca kapacitet skupljanja trebao bi se povećati na preko 80.000 barela dnevno.
