Bivši košarkaš Cibone Corey Williams izgubio je najtežu bitku, nakon teške bolesti preminuo je u 46. godini.

Williams je kroz karijeru promijenio veliki broj klubova, a 2008. godine igrao je u zagrebačkoj Ciboni. Nakon završene igračke karijere posvetio se televizijskom komentiranju i to australske NBL lige, ali u posljednje vrijeme bio je posvećen borbi s karcinomom debelog crijeva. Teška bolest dijagnosticirana mu je prošle godine.

Rođen je New Yorku, nakon sveučilišne karijere nije izabran na NBA draftu te je jedno vrijeme je igrao u slabije rangiranim američkim ligama. Uslijedilo je košarkaško putovanje svijetom u sklopu kojeg je 2008.godine završio u Zagrebu. Najveći uspjeh je ostvario u australskoj NBL ligi u kojoj je 2010. proglašen i MVP-em pa nije čudno da se nakon igračke karijere odlučio za ostanak u Australiji i komentatorski posao.

Bivši košarkaš Cibone Corey Williams izgubio je najtežu bitku, nakon teške bolesti preminuo je u 46. godini.

Williams je kroz karijeru promijenio veliki broj klubova, a 2008. godine igrao je u zagrebačkoj Ciboni. Nakon završene igračke karijere posvetio se televizijskom komentiranju i to australske NBL lige, ali u posljednje vrijeme bio je posvećen borbi s karcinomom debelog crijeva. Teška bolest dijagnosticirana mu je prošle godine.

Rođen je New Yorku, nakon sveučilišne karijere nije izabran na NBA draftu te je jedno vrijeme je igrao u slabije rangiranim američkim ligama. Uslijedilo je košarkaško putovanje svijetom u sklopu kojeg je 2008.godine završio u Zagrebu. Najveći uspjeh je ostvario u australskoj NBL ligi u kojoj je 2010. proglašen i MVP-em pa nije čudno da se nakon igračke karijere odlučio za ostanak u Australiji i komentatorski posao.

Bivši košarkaš Cibone Corey Williams izgubio je najtežu bitku, nakon teške bolesti preminuo je u 46. godini.

Williams je kroz karijeru promijenio veliki broj klubova, a 2008. godine igrao je u zagrebačkoj Ciboni. Nakon završene igračke karijere posvetio se televizijskom komentiranju i to australske NBL lige, ali u posljednje vrijeme bio je posvećen borbi s karcinomom debelog crijeva. Teška bolest dijagnosticirana mu je prošle godine.

- Što god je potrebno, ja ću odraditi. Što god je potrebno, napisao je nedavno Williams na društvenim mrežama.

Rođen je New Yorku, nakon sveučilišne karijere nije izabran na NBA draftu te je jedno vrijeme je igrao u slabije rangiranim američkim ligama. Uslijedilo je košarkaško putovanje svijetom u sklopu kojeg je 2008.godine završio u Zagrebu. Najveći uspjeh je ostvario u australskoj NBL ligi u kojoj je 2010. proglašen i MVP-em pa nije čudno da se nakon igračke karijere odlučio za ostanak u Australiji i komentatorski posao.
