Evo tko je bio Enrique Castro Gonzalez Quini, nogometno-životni velikan u čiju je počast Borja Lopez nosio crnu traku oko ruke protiv Rudeša. Stoper Hajduka se od bivšeg španjolskog reprezentativca i peterostrukog prvog strijelca Primere koji je prošlog tjedna preminuo u 68. godini na svom instagramu oprostio zajedničkom fotografijom (na kojoj je Lopez u dresu Sportinga) i riječima:

- Nikada neću zaboraviti vaše savjete, osmijehe i čaroliju. Vi ste vječni Quini. Uvijek ćete biti u našim srcima. Počivajte u miru "Čarobnjače" (nap.a. to mu je bio nadimak - El Brujo)

Za Sporting, klub iz Lopezovog rodnog Gijona u kojem je i ponikao (poslije je bio član i Barcelone B), je jedan od najboljih napadača svog vremena Quini zabio čak 231 gol. No, nažalost pamti se najviše po epizodi koja se zbila dok je od 1980. do 1984. igrao za Barcelonu. U ožujku 1981. Quini je otet kako bi izostao s ključnih utakmica, i one protiv glavnog rivala Atletico Madrida, kako katalonski klub ne bi bio prvak.

Poslije 6:0 domaće pobjede protiv Herculesa, Quini je išao prema zračnoj luci po suprugu i djecu, ali otet je na putu, uz obećanje da će biti pušten za 11 dana ako priča ne izađe u javnost. U Barceloni je vladao šok. Nijemac Bernd Schuster bio je slomljen, rekao je da nije u stanju igrati. Barcelona je tražila odgodu, ali nije je dobila. Izgubila je od Atletica u susretu koji je ipak odigran nakon što je to tražila Quinijeva supruga, a zatim je u iduća tri osvojila tek bod. Otmičari su tražili 70 milijuna peseta otkupnine. Quini je pronađen, neozlijeđen, nakon 25 dana, a otmičari su otkriveni preko računa na koji je novac uplaćen. No, na kasnijem suđenju nije Quini "udario" po njima, kao da je bio žrtva tzv. stockholmskog sindroma. Nije želio ni odštetu za nanesene duševne boli koja mu je pripadala, ni tužiti otmičare. Tražio je samo da - odmah opet zaigra.

- Moji otmičari mi nisu naudili, opraštam im – govorio je dobri čovjek Quini.

Otmičari su ipak dobili po 10 godina zatvora. Barcelona je tražila da se utakmice s kojih je izostao opet odigraju, ali je odbijena. Prvak je neočekivano bio Real Sociedad, a s četiri boda manje Barcelona četvrta. Unatoč svemu, najbolji strijelac lige bio je Quini.

Obožavan, dobri čovjek, darežljiv, Quini je poslije mnoge u Sportingu (na)učio nogometu. I životu. Pobijedio je i rak, a umro je od srčanog udara. I njegov mlađi brat Jesus Castro, bivši vratar Sportinga, bio je mnogima uzor. Preminuo je 1993. u 42. godini nakon što je od utapljanja spasio dva engleska dječaka i njihovog oca. Po Quiniju je odmah nakon smrti Sportingov stadion "El Molinon", najstariji profesionalni u Španjolskoj, preimenovan u "El Molinon-Enrique Castro "Quini"".

Evo tko je bio Enrique Castro Gonzalez Quini, nogometno-životni velikan u čiju je počast Borja Lopez nosio crnu traku oko ruke protiv Rudeša. Stoper Hajduka se od bivšeg španjolskog reprezentativca i peterostrukog prvog strijelca Primere koji je prošlog tjedna preminuo u 68. godini na svom instagramu oprostio zajedničkom fotografijom (na kojoj je Lopez u dresu Sportinga) i riječima:

- Nikada neću zaboraviti vaše savjete, osmijehe i čaroliju. Vi ste vječni Quini. Uvijek ćete biti u našim srcima. Počivajte u miru "Čarobnjače" (nap.a. to mu je bio nadimak - El Brujo)

Za Sporting, klub iz Lopezovog rodnog Gijona u kojem je i ponikao (poslije je bio član i Barcelone B), je jedan od najboljih napadača svog vremena Quini zabio čak 231 gol. No, nažalost pamti se najviše po epizodi koja se zbila dok je od 1980. do 1984. igrao za Barcelonu. U ožujku 1981. Quini je otet kako bi izostao s ključnih utakmica, i one protiv glavnog rivala Atletico Madrida, kako katalonski klub ne bi bio prvak.

Poslije 6:0 domaće pobjede protiv Herculesa, Quini je išao prema zračnoj luci po suprugu i djecu, ali otet je na putu, uz obećanje da će biti pušten za 11 dana ako priča ne izađe u javnost. U Barceloni je vladao šok. Nijemac Bernd Schuster bio je slomljen, rekao je da nije u stanju igrati. Barcelona je tražila odgodu, ali nije je dobila. Izgubila je od Atletica u susretu koji je ipak odigran nakon što je to tražila Quinijeva supruga, a zatim je u iduća tri osvojila tek bod. Otmičari su tražili 70 milijuna peseta otkupnine. Quini je pronađen, neozlijeđen, nakon 25 dana, a otmičari su otkriveni preko računa na koji je novac uplaćen. No, na kasnijem suđenju nije Quini "udario" po njima, kao da je bio žrtva tzv. stockholmskog sindroma. Nije želio ni odštetu za nanesene duševne boli koja mu je pripadala, ni tužiti otmičare. Tražio je samo da - odmah opet zaigra.

- Moji otmičari mi nisu naudili, opraštam im – govorio je dobri čovjek Quini.

Otmičari su ipak dobili po 10 godina zatvora. Barcelona je tražila da se utakmice s kojih je izostao opet odigraju, ali je odbijena. Prvak je neočekivano bio Real Sociedad, a s četiri boda manje Barcelona četvrta. Unatoč svemu, najbolji strijelac lige bio je Quini.

Obožavan, dobri čovjek, darežljiv, Quini je poslije mnoge u Sportingu (na)učio nogometu. I životu. Pobijedio je i rak, a umro je od srčanog udara. I njegov mlađi brat Jesus Castro, bivši vratar Sportinga, bio je mnogima uzor. Preminuo je 1993. u 42. godini nakon što je od utapljanja spasio dva engleska dječaka i njihovog oca. Po Quiniju je odmah nakon smrti Sportingov stadion "El Molinon", najstariji profesionalni u Španjolskoj, preimenovan u "El Molinon-Enrique Castro "Quini"".
