Od kada je prije mjesec i pol dana, šibenska Poljana otvorena i uređena, o zelenim površinama na njoj, novozasađenim stablima i biljkama nitko se nije brinuo. Sve do jučer, kada su radnici šibenskog komunalnog poduzeća Zeleni grad ukrstili motike i metle te su objavili rat korovu i travama koji su toliko narasli i raširili se da su na nekim dijelovima dominirali nad zasađenim biljem i zamišljenim hortikulturnim uređenjem.
Koorodinator za operativne poslove Zelenog grada Ante Rakić kaže kako je to komunalno poduzeće počelo održavati zelene površine na Poljani tek nakon što ih je pozvao Gradski parking koji je bio nositelj projekta Poljane u sklopu kojeg je izgrađen i podzemna garaža na tri etaže.
-Od Gradskog parkinga mi smo u srijedu preuzeli zelene površine na Poljani: onu sa šest stabala koji su posađeni uz rub ceste, površinu uz Gradsku knjižnicu Juraj Šižgorić prema nekadašnjim gradskim vratima, kao i amfiteatar sa majčinom dušicom te dio na kojem su posađena stabla tamarisa. Počupat ćemo sav korov, redovito obilaziti i održavati te zalijevati sve te površine. Na nekim dijelovima postavljen je i sustav za navodnjavanje, a tamo gdje ga nema prilagodit ćemo se – kazuje Rakić.
Radnicima Zelenog grada tako nije trebalo puno vremena da u red dovedu najveći dio, u korov zaraslih, zelenih površina. Do kraja radnoga dana, vjerojatno će konačno zaliti, vrućinama i presađivanjem oslabjela, stabalca judića, mnogima poznatijeg kao judino drvce.
Nešto više posla zadat će im okopavanje i plijevljenje majčine dušice u dijelu trga uz knjižnicu koji je zamišljen i uređen kao mali amfiteatar u kojem bi se trebala odvijati razna događanja, primjerice filmske projekcije gdje bi ostatak bedema glumio filmsko platno.
I dok bi publika sjedila na kamenim kaskadama, noge bi im, za potpuni mediteranski ugođaj, tako su zamislili projektanti, stajale u mirišljavim grmićima majčine dušice.
Ali, da biljke ipak ne bi bile pogažene i polomljene iznad njih su postavljene rešetke. Iz njih sada proviruje više korova negoli te ljekovite i začinske biljka, pa će tu šibenski "zeleni" radnici imati poprilično posla, jer će više vremena morati potrošiti na odvijanje vijaka i skidanje svake rešetke, a ima ih više od 60, negoli će im trebati za čupanje samog korova. Ali, projekt je takav kakav jest, ističe Rakić, i drugačije ne može.
-Grad se sve više uređuje i time je sve više posla, ali mi se prilagođavamo i dajemo sve od sebe – poručio je Rakić.

Od kada je prije mjesec i pol dana, šibenska Poljana otvorena i uređena, o zelenim površinama na njoj, novozasađenim stablima i biljkama nitko se nije brinuo. Sve do jučer, kada su radnici šibenskog komunalnog poduzeća Zeleni grad ukrstili motike i metle te su objavili rat korovu i travama koji su toliko narasli i raširili se da su na nekim dijelovima dominirali nad zasađenim biljem i zamišljenim hortikulturnim uređenjem.
Koorodinator za operativne poslove Zelenog grada Ante Rakić kaže kako je to komunalno poduzeće počelo održavati zelene površine na Poljani tek nakon što ih je pozvao Gradski parking koji je bio nositelj projekta Poljane u sklopu kojeg je izgrađen i podzemna garaža na tri etaže.
-Od Gradskog parkinga mi smo u srijedu preuzeli zelene površine na Poljani: onu sa šest stabala koji su posađeni uz rub ceste, površinu uz Gradsku knjižnicu Juraj Šižgorić prema nekadašnjim gradskim vratima, kao i amfiteatar sa majčinom dušicom te dio na kojem su posađena stabla tamarisa. Počupat ćemo sav korov, redovito obilaziti i održavati te zalijevati sve te površine. Na nekim dijelovima postavljen je i sustav za navodnjavanje, a tamo gdje ga nema prilagodit ćemo se – kazuje Rakić.
Radnicima Zelenog grada tako nije trebalo puno vremena da u red dovedu najveći dio, u korov zaraslih, zelenih površina. Do kraja radnoga dana, vjerojatno će konačno zaliti, vrućinama i presađivanjem oslabjela, stabalca judića, mnogima poznatijeg kao judino drvce.
Nešto više posla zadat će im okopavanje i plijevljenje majčine dušice u dijelu trga uz knjižnicu koji je zamišljen i uređen kao mali amfiteatar u kojem bi se trebala odvijati razna događanja, primjerice filmske projekcije gdje bi ostatak bedema glumio filmsko platno.
I dok bi publika sjedila na kamenim kaskadama, noge bi im, za potpuni mediteranski ugođaj, tako su zamislili projektanti, stajale u mirišljavim grmićima majčine dušice.
Ali, da biljke ipak ne bi bile pogažene i polomljene iznad njih su postavljene rešetke. Iz njih sada proviruje više korova negoli te ljekovite i začinske biljka, pa će tu šibenski "zeleni" radnici imati poprilično posla, jer će više vremena morati potrošiti na odvijanje vijaka i skidanje svake rešetke, a ima ih više od 60, negoli će im trebati za čupanje samog korova. Ali, projekt je takav kakav jest, ističe Rakić, i drugačije ne može.
-Grad se sve više uređuje i time je sve više posla, ali mi se prilagođavamo i dajemo sve od sebe – poručio je Rakić.
