Otok Zlarin ili ‘‘otok koralja‘‘ uz svoje brojne otočke atrakcije, postat će bogatiji za još jednu. Svoja vrata uskoro bi trebao otvoriti ‘‘Hrvatski centar koralja Zlarin‘‘, integrirani projekt koji za glavni cilj ima promociju i valorizaciju prirodne baštine te jačanje obrazovnih kapaciteta lokalnog stanovništva i posjetitelja o važnosti zaštite prirode.
U sklopu projekta, obnovljene su i uređene kuće Šare i Kažerma na otoku Zlarinu, a rekonstruiran je i put koji vodi od obale do dviju kuća ali ih i međusobno spaja. Projekt je vrijedan nešto više od 24,1 milijuna kuna od čega je 13,3 milijuna kuna financiralo Ministarstvo regionalnog razvoja i fondova Europske unije, dok je ostatak do pune svote pokriven sredstvima Europske unije u okviru natječaja ‘‘Promicanje održivog razvoja prirodne baštine‘‘ na kojega je aplicirao Grad Šibenik.
Kuća Kažerma funkcionirati će, kako je i predviđeno projektom, kao izložbeni prostor sa stalnim postavom koji će uključivati prikaz ekosustava i zaštićenih vrsta šibenskog arhipelaga, tradiciju uzgoja koralja na zlatnom otoku i knjižnicu sa znanstvenim radovima i poezijom Vesne Parun, dok je kuća Šare preuređena u edukacijsko - istraživački centar s amfiteatrom i smještajnim jedinicama za istraživače i znanstvenike.

Osim prezentacije zaštite prirodne baštine koralja, Centar predviđa i druge sadržaje poput upravljanja plovilom koje će služiti za prijevoz posjetitelja na lokacije gdje su koralji, brdski biciklizam, smještajni kapacitet za studente i profesore koji će proučavati koralje te još jedan multifunkcionalni prostor za lokalno stanovništvo gdje će se moći održavati razne izložbe, predavanja i radionice. Projekt je definitivno jedno od najvećih ulaganja u otok, a istovremeno pruža mogućnosti produžavanja turističke sezone, zapošljavanja lokalnog stanovništva te razvoj Zlarina u jednom novom smjeru.
Kako nam kaže Petar Mišura, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za gospodarstvo, poduzetništvo i razvoja Grada Šbenika, projekt je završen zadnjim danom prošle godine kako je i bilo planirano, obavljene su sve kontrole, a očekuje se još samo završno izvješće o provedbi projekta, koje i tako slijedi nekoliko mjeseci nakon završetka projekta. Osim obnove kuća Šare i Kažerma te rekonstrukcije pristupnog puta, projekt je uključivao niz drugih aktivnosti poput nabave broda, dva električna kvada, brdskih bicikala, organizacije edukacijskih radionica, monitoringa koralja i slično.

‘‘Hrvatski centar koralja Zlarin‘‘ nuditi će lokalnom stanovništvu i posjetiteljima zaista najrazličitije sadržaje, a upravljanje njime preuzela je Javna ustanova Tvrđava kulture koja se već itekako dokazala svojim dobrim upravljanjem fortifikacijskim objektima u Šibeniku. Kada će Centar koralja Zlarin otvoriti svoja vrata za posjetitelje, upitali smo Goranu Barišić Bačelić, ravnateljicu Javne ustanove Tvrđava kulture.
-U tijeku su sve pripremne radnje za otvaranje Centra, a svečano otvorenje očekuje se krajem travnja, odnosno u prvoj polovici svibnja. Trenutno formiramo zaseban odjel u sklopu Tvrđave kulture koji će, dakle, voditi Centar koralja Zlarin, ali sve ide prema planu, svojim tijekom. Otok Zlarin ili ‘‘otok koralja‘‘ uz svoje brojne otočke atrakcije, postat će bogatiji za još jednu. Svoja vrata uskoro bi trebao otvoriti ‘‘Hrvatski centar koralja Zlarin‘‘, integrirani projekt koji za glavni cilj ima promociju i valorizaciju prirodne baštine te jačanje obrazovnih kapaciteta lokalnog stanovništva i posjetitelja o važnosti zaštite prirode.
U sklopu projekta, obnovljene su i uređene kuće Šare i Kažerma na otoku Zlarinu, a rekonstruiran je i put koji vodi od obale do dviju kuća ali ih i međusobno spaja. Projekt je vrijedan nešto više od 24,1 milijuna kuna od čega je 13,3 milijuna kuna financiralo Ministarstvo regionalnog razvoja i fondova Europske unije, dok je ostatak do pune svote pokriven sredstvima Europske unije u okviru natječaja ‘‘Promicanje održivog razvoja prirodne baštine‘‘ na kojega je aplicirao Grad Šibenik.
Kuća Kažerma funkcionirati će, kako je i predviđeno projektom, kao izložbeni prostor sa stalnim postavom koji će uključivati prikaz ekosustava i zaštićenih vrsta šibenskog arhipelaga, tradiciju uzgoja koralja na zlatnom otoku i knjižnicu sa znanstvenim radovima i poezijom Vesne Parun, dok je kuća Šare preuređena u edukacijsko - istraživački centar s amfiteatrom i smještajnim jedinicama za istraživače i znanstvenike.

Osim prezentacije zaštite prirodne baštine koralja, Centar predviđa i druge sadržaje poput upravljanja plovilom koje će služiti za prijevoz posjetitelja na lokacije gdje su koralji, brdski biciklizam, smještajni kapacitet za studente i profesore koji će proučavati koralje te još jedan multifunkcionalni prostor za lokalno stanovništvo gdje će se moći održavati razne izložbe, predavanja i radionice. Projekt je definitivno jedno od najvećih ulaganja u otok, a istovremeno pruža mogućnosti produžavanja turističke sezone, zapošljavanja lokalnog stanovništva te razvoj Zlarina u jednom novom smjeru.
Kako nam kaže Petar Mišura, pročelnik Upravnog odjela za gospodarstvo, poduzetništvo i razvoja Grada Šbenika, projekt je završen zadnjim danom prošle godine kako je i bilo planirano, obavljene su sve kontrole, a očekuje se još samo završno izvješće o provedbi projekta, koje i tako slijedi nekoliko mjeseci nakon završetka projekta. Osim obnove kuća Šare i Kažerma te rekonstrukcije pristupnog puta, projekt je uključivao niz drugih aktivnosti poput nabave broda, dva električna kvada, brdskih bicikala, organizacije edukacijskih radionica, monitoringa koralja i slično.

‘‘Hrvatski centar koralja Zlarin‘‘ nuditi će lokalnom stanovništvu i posjetiteljima zaista najrazličitije sadržaje, a upravljanje njime preuzela je Javna ustanova Tvrđava kulture koja se već itekako dokazala svojim dobrim upravljanjem fortifikacijskim objektima u Šibeniku. Kada će Centar koralja Zlarin otvoriti svoja vrata za posjetitelje, upitali smo Goranu Barišić Bačelić, ravnateljicu Javne ustanove Tvrđava kulture.
-U tijeku su sve pripremne radnje za otvaranje Centra, a svečano otvorenje očekuje se krajem travnja, odnosno u prvoj polovici svibnja. Trenutno formiramo zaseban odjel u sklopu Tvrđave kulture koji će, dakle, voditi Centar koralja Zlarin, ali sve ide prema planu, svojim tijekom. Projekt kao takav je završen, sada se mi moramo organizirati, formirati cijene, pripremiti se za svečano otvorenje koje će, nadam se, biti najkasnije do 15. svibnja - zaključuje ravnateljica JU Tvrđava kulture,
