S novom školskom godinom od ponedjeljka, 4. rujna, počinje i policijska akcija zaštite djece u prometu "Poštujte naše znakove" koja se provodi od 1995. od kada se, prema MUP-ovim podacima, broj poginule i ozlijeđene djece na hrvatskim prometnicama znatno smanjio.
Osjetno je, ističu u MUP-u, smanjenje smrtnog stradavanja djece u razdoblju od 1994. do 2022. godine. Primjerice, 1994. u prometu je smrtno stradalo 57 djece, a 2000. njih 26, dok ih je 2011. poginulo 13, a 2021. i 2022. po desetero.
Bez obzira na pozitivne pomake, unatrag deset godina na hrvatskim je prometnicama smrtno stradalo 69 djece, a ozlijeđeno je njih 8747, kažu u MUP-u.
Napominju i da se struktura smrtno stradale djece, prema svojstvu u kojem su sudjelovala u nesrećama, bitno promijenila. Prije petnaestak godina djeca su najviše stradavala kao pješaci, a danas najviše kao putnici u vozilima.
Tijekom prvih sedam mjeseci ove godine u prometu je smrtno stradalo četvero djece, jednako kao u istom razdoblju prošle godine. Također, broj teže ozlijeđene djece identičan je onom u sedam mjeseci 2022. godine, odnosno 79 djece je teže ozlijeđeno. No povećan je broj lakše ozlijeđene djece sa 390 na 399 u odnosu na isto razdoblje lani.
Djecu se nepropisno prevozi na prednjim sjedalima, posjeda ih se na stražnja sjedala bez vezivanja sigurnosnim pojasom ili se na neadekvatne sjedalice koja ne zadovoljavaju najosnovnije uvjete sigurnosti, upozorava policija.
Edukacije školaraca i roditelja, pojačani nadzor vozača
Uoči ovogodišnje akcije policija je s predstavnicima lokalnih vlasti i poduzećima za održavanje prometnica, pregledala ceste i prometnu signalizacije u blizini škola te su zahtijevali otklanjanje uočenih nedostataka.
Tijekom jesenskih će mjeseci održati dvadesetominutna predavanja i razgovor u svim prvim razredima osnovnih škola i upoznavati djecu s temeljnim pravilima sigurnog sudjelovanja u prometu. Učenicima će pritom podijeliti prigodni promidžbeni materijal – vodootporne reflektirajuće kape. 
Policajci će biti nazočni i prvom roditeljskom sastanku učenika prvih razreda kako bi roditeljima u kratkom izlaganju izložili najvažnije poruke o sigurnom sudjelovanju njihove djece u prometu.
Svakog dana tijekom rujna, posebice u vrijeme početka i završetka nastave, pojačano će nadzirati prilazne ceste, ulice i raskrižja u blizini škola, radi nesmetanog i što sigurnijeg dolaska i odlaska djece u i iz škole.
Također, navode da će poduzimati "sve zakonom propisane mjere" prema nediscipliniranim vozačima, odnosno prema vozačima koji ne poštuju prednost prolaska pješaka na pješačkom prijelazu te sankcionirati i sva nepropisno parkirana i zaustavljena vozila u zonama škola.
Tijekom rujna policija će pojačano kontrolirati brzinu vožnje u zonama škola gdje će za vrijeme akcije raditi i pripadnici prometne jedinice mladeži, a najavili su i nadzor autobusa kojima se organizirano prevoze školarci.

S novom školskom godinom od ponedjeljka, 4. rujna, počinje i policijska akcija zaštite djece u prometu "Poštujte naše znakove" koja se provodi od 1995. od kada se, prema MUP-ovim podacima, broj poginule i ozlijeđene djece na hrvatskim prometnicama znatno smanjio.
Osjetno je, ističu u MUP-u, smanjenje smrtnog stradavanja djece u razdoblju od 1994. do 2022. godine. Primjerice, 1994. u prometu je smrtno stradalo 57 djece, a 2000. njih 26, dok ih je 2011. poginulo 13, a 2021. i 2022. po desetero.
Bez obzira na pozitivne pomake, unatrag deset godina na hrvatskim je prometnicama smrtno stradalo 69 djece, a ozlijeđeno je njih 8747, kažu u MUP-u.
Napominju i da se struktura smrtno stradale djece, prema svojstvu u kojem su sudjelovala u nesrećama, bitno promijenila. Prije petnaestak godina djeca su najviše stradavala kao pješaci, a danas najviše kao putnici u vozilima.
Tijekom prvih sedam mjeseci ove godine u prometu je smrtno stradalo četvero djece, jednako kao u istom razdoblju prošle godine. Također, broj teže ozlijeđene djece identičan je onom u sedam mjeseci 2022. godine, odnosno 79 djece je teže ozlijeđeno. No povećan je broj lakše ozlijeđene djece sa 390 na 399 u odnosu na isto razdoblje lani.
Djecu se nepropisno prevozi na prednjim sjedalima, posjeda ih se na stražnja sjedala bez vezivanja sigurnosnim pojasom ili se na neadekvatne sjedalice koja ne zadovoljavaju najosnovnije uvjete sigurnosti, upozorava policija.

Uoči ovogodišnje akcije policija je s predstavnicima lokalnih vlasti i poduzećima za održavanje prometnica, pregledala ceste i prometnu signalizacije u blizini škola te su zahtijevali otklanjanje uočenih nedostataka.
Tijekom jesenskih će mjeseci održati dvadesetominutna predavanja i razgovor u svim prvim razredima osnovnih škola i upoznavati djecu s temeljnim pravilima sigurnog sudjelovanja u prometu. Učenicima će pritom podijeliti prigodni promidžbeni materijal – vodootporne reflektirajuće kape. 
Policajci će biti nazočni i prvom roditeljskom sastanku učenika prvih razreda kako bi roditeljima u kratkom izlaganju izložili najvažnije poruke o sigurnom sudjelovanju njihove djece u prometu.
Svakog dana tijekom rujna, posebice u vrijeme početka i završetka nastave, pojačano će nadzirati prilazne ceste, ulice i raskrižja u blizini škola, radi nesmetanog i što sigurnijeg dolaska i odlaska djece u i iz škole.
Također, navode da će poduzimati "sve zakonom propisane mjere" prema nediscipliniranim vozačima, odnosno prema vozačima koji ne poštuju prednost prolaska pješaka na pješačkom prijelazu te sankcionirati i sva nepropisno parkirana i zaustavljena vozila u zonama škola.
Tijekom rujna policija će pojačano kontrolirati brzinu vožnje u zonama škola gdje će za vrijeme akcije raditi i pripadnici prometne jedinice mladeži, a najavili su i nadzor autobusa kojima se organizirano prevoze školarci.

S novom školskom godinom kreće i akcija "Poštujte naše znakove"- 29. godinu zaredom

Poštujte naše znakove

S novom školskom godinom od ponedjeljka, 4. rujna, počinje i policijska akcija zaštite djece u prometu "Poštujte naše znakove" koja se provodi od 1995. od kada se, prema MUP-ovim podacima, broj poginule i ozlijeđene djece na hrvatskim prometnicama znatno smanjio.
Osjetno je, ističu u MUP-u, smanjenje smrtnog stradavanja djece u razdoblju od 1994. do 2022. godine. Primjerice, 1994. u prometu je smrtno stradalo 57 djece, a 2000. njih 26, dok ih je 2011. poginulo 13, a 2021. i 2022. po desetero.
Bez obzira na pozitivne pomake, unatrag deset godina na hrvatskim je prometnicama smrtno stradalo 69 djece, a ozlijeđeno je njih 8747, kažu u MUP-u.
Napominju i da se struktura smrtno stradale djece, prema svojstvu u kojem su sudjelovala u nesrećama, bitno promijenila. Prije petnaestak godina djeca su najviše stradavala kao pješaci, a danas najviše kao putnici u vozilima.
Tijekom prvih sedam mjeseci ove godine u prometu je smrtno stradalo četvero djece, jednako kao u istom razdoblju prošle godine. Također, broj teže ozlijeđene djece identičan je onom u sedam mjeseci 2022. godine, odnosno 79 djece je teže ozlijeđeno. No povećan je broj lakše ozlijeđene djece sa 390 na 399 u odnosu na isto razdoblje lani.
Djecu se nepropisno prevozi na prednjim sjedalima, posjeda ih se na stražnja sjedala bez vezivanja sigurnosnim pojasom ili se na neadekvatne sjedalice koja ne zadovoljavaju najosnovnije uvjete sigurnosti, upozorava policija.
