Glavni tajnik UN-a poslao poruku upozorenja svijetu
Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres uputio je u nedjelju "poruku upozorenja, crvenog upozorenja" o opasnostima koje prijete svijetu u 2018. godini i pozvao je na "jedinstvo" u povodu nove godine.

-Kada sam prije godinu dana stupio na dužnost, uputio sam apel da 2017. bude godina mira. Nažalost, ...dogodilo se suprotno, rekao je Guterres.
-Sukobi su se pogoršali i pojavile su se nove opasnosti. U cijelome svijetu nikada nije bio tako veliki strah od nuklearnog oružja od kraja Hladnog rata, istaknuo je šef UN-a aludirajući na krizu sa Sjevernom Korejom.

-Klimatske promjene brže su od nas" a "nejednakosti su i sve jače" s teškim kršenjima ljudskih prava, kazao je on izrazivši žaljenje zbog jačanja nacionalizma i ksenofobije.

-Mi možemo riješiti sukobe, prevladati mržnju i zaštititi naše zajedničke vrijednosti, ali moramo biti ujedinjeni kako bi to postigli", ocijenio je.
Guterres je pozvao svjetske čelnike da "ponovno izgrade povjerenje ujedinjujući ljude oko zajedničkih ciljeva".

Glavni tajnik UN-a poslao poruku upozorenja svijetu
Glavni tajnik UN-a Antonio Guterres uputio je u nedjelju "poruku upozorenja, crvenog upozorenja" o opasnostima koje prijete svijetu u 2018. godini i pozvao je na "jedinstvo" u povodu nove godine.

-Kada sam prije godinu dana stupio na dužnost, uputio sam apel da 2017. bude godina mira. Nažalost, ...dogodilo se suprotno, rekao je Guterres.
-Sukobi su se pogoršali i pojavile su se nove opasnosti. U cijelome svijetu nikada nije bio tako veliki strah od nuklearnog oružja od kraja Hladnog rata, istaknuo je šef UN-a aludirajući na krizu sa Sjevernom Korejom.

-Klimatske promjene brže su od nas" a "nejednakosti su i sve jače" s teškim kršenjima ljudskih prava, kazao je on izrazivši žaljenje zbog jačanja nacionalizma i ksenofobije.

-Mi možemo riješiti sukobe, prevladati mržnju i zaštititi naše zajedničke vrijednosti, ali moramo biti ujedinjeni kako bi to postigli", ocijenio je.
Guterres je pozvao svjetske čelnike da "ponovno izgrade povjerenje ujedinjujući ljude oko zajedničkih ciljeva".
