Martin Kosovec je svojom izvedbom antologijske pjesme Alfija Kabilja "Tvoja zemlja", koju je prije pola stoljeća proslavio nenadmašni Vice Vukov, "kupio" srca hrvatske publike. Komentari ispod snimke Martinova nastupa u "The Voiceu", pregledane u 5 dana gotovo pola milijuna puta, ekstatični su. Oduševljenje se ne odnosui samo na vokalne sposobnosti ovog 18-godišnjaka, nego i na njegovu osobnost, možemo reći i karizmu, te "starinski" stil i vrijednosti koje promovira ovaj mladi gospodin, pravi šmeker.
Mnogi se čude odakle mu tako "patinasti" ukus u glazbi, ali još bi se više čudili kad bi znali da je on  atko "navrnut" od još mlađih dana. Na internetu se mogu naći njegovi dječački nastupi, a već se natjecao u "RTL-ovim Zvjezdicama" i "Supertalentu" u kojem je pjevao - Oliverov odnosno Runjićev "Nocturno". 

A da mu repertoar Alfija Kabilja leži "od malih nogu" svjedoči i ova izvedba legendarne skladbe iz mjuzikla "Jalta, Jalta" - nije se, tako mali, dao zbuniti niti kad je došlo do malog nesporazuma između njega i instrumentalne pratnje (na 2.52).

Nije se dao smesti niti u ovom nastupu, kad je nakratko zaboravio tekst starinskog šlagera "Golubovi" (na 1.20):

A sve što je još onda trebalo znati o njemu šarmantno je dječački objasnio predstavljajući se u "RTL Zvjezdicama":

Kad je nastupio u "Supertalentu" (video ispod) već je počeo mutirati, pa je za "Večernji list" bio izjavio kako mu to smeta da pokaže sve svoje ranije pjevačke mogućnosti, no današnja publika uvjerila se - slušajući njegov neodoljivi bariton - da je rezultat mutiranja ispao itekako dobar:

"Nisam bio zadovoljan trenutnim glasovnim sposobnostima. Par mjeseci prije snimanja počeo sam mutirati pa nisam imao vokalne sposobnosti na istoj razini kao prije godinu dana", rekao je tada 14-godišnjak koji je podrijetlom iz Svetog Ivana Zeline, danas sa zagrebačkih Srednja, a pjevanjem se bavi od svoje pete godine.

- Najviše me za pjevanje motivirala profesorica glazbenog u školi Snježana Krivak Đud koja me potaknula na izvođenje prijavljujući me na natjecanja. To mi je dalo samopouzdanja da se razvijam kao pjevač, iako su moji roditelji puno prije znali za moj potencijal. Prva pjesma koju sam baš volio i pjevao je "Oko jene hiže" od Gabi Novak, te sam uz tatu koji je izvodio starogradske pjesme zavolio takvu glazbu. Trenutačno su mi uzori Zdravko Čolić i Oliver Dragojević, a od stranih pjevača Michael Buble i Jennifer Hudson – rekao je tada za "Večernjak" Martin, čiji je tata Mladen također glazbenik, član ansambla Lado. 

Godinu prije "Supertalenta" Martin je dobio priliku da nastupa i sa solistima zagrebačkog HNK-a, a može se pohvaliti i nastupom na Internacionalnom Blues festivalu u Memphisu. Evo ga u STAX Academy iz 2019. godine:

Čekamo da vidimo s kojom će pjesmom Martin Kosovec u subotu nastupiti u polufinalu "The Voicea", ali u jedno smo sigurni - on je već ozbiljna zvijezda. I zaslužio bi da mu veliki Kabiljo osobno napiše nove skladbe.

Martin Kosovec je svojom izvedbom antologijske pjesme Alfija Kabilja "Tvoja zemlja", koju je prije pola stoljeća proslavio nenadmašni Vice Vukov, "kupio" srca hrvatske publike. Komentari ispod snimke Martinova nastupa u "The Voiceu", pregledane u 5 dana gotovo pola milijuna puta, ekstatični su. Oduševljenje se ne odnosui samo na vokalne sposobnosti ovog 18-godišnjaka, nego i na njegovu osobnost, možemo reći i karizmu, te "starinski" stil i vrijednosti koje promovira ovaj mladi gospodin, pravi šmeker.
Mnogi se čude odakle mu tako "patinasti" ukus u glazbi, ali još bi se više čudili kad bi znali da je on  atko "navrnut" od još mlađih dana. Na internetu se mogu naći njegovi dječački nastupi, a već se natjecao u "RTL-ovim Zvjezdicama" i "Supertalentu" u kojem je pjevao - Oliverov odnosno Runjićev "Nocturno". 

A da mu repertoar Alfija Kabilja leži "od malih nogu" svjedoči i ova izvedba legendarne skladbe iz mjuzikla "Jalta, Jalta" - nije se, tako mali, dao zbuniti niti kad je došlo do malog nesporazuma između njega i instrumentalne pratnje (na 2.52).

Nije se dao smesti niti u ovom nastupu, kad je nakratko zaboravio tekst starinskog šlagera "Golubovi" (na 1.20):

A sve što je još onda trebalo znati o njemu šarmantno je dječački objasnio predstavljajući se u "RTL Zvjezdicama":

Kad je nastupio u "Supertalentu" (video ispod) već je počeo mutirati, pa je za "Večernji list" bio izjavio kako mu to smeta da pokaže sve svoje ranije pjevačke mogućnosti, no današnja publika uvjerila se - slušajući njegov neodoljivi bariton - da je rezultat mutiranja ispao itekako dobar:

"Nisam bio zadovoljan trenutnim glasovnim sposobnostima. Par mjeseci prije snimanja počeo sam mutirati pa nisam imao vokalne sposobnosti na istoj razini kao prije godinu dana", rekao je tada 14-godišnjak koji je podrijetlom iz Svetog Ivana Zeline, danas sa zagrebačkih Srednja, a pjevanjem se bavi od svoje pete godine.

- Najviše me za pjevanje motivirala profesorica glazbenog u školi Snježana Krivak Đud koja me potaknula na izvođenje prijavljujući me na natjecanja. To mi je dalo samopouzdanja da se razvijam kao pjevač, iako su moji roditelji puno prije znali za moj potencijal. Prva pjesma koju sam baš volio i pjevao je "Oko jene hiže" od Gabi Novak, te sam uz tatu koji je izvodio starogradske pjesme zavolio takvu glazbu. Trenutačno su mi uzori Zdravko Čolić i Oliver Dragojević, a od stranih pjevača Michael Buble i Jennifer Hudson – rekao je tada za "Večernjak" Martin, čiji je tata Mladen također glazbenik, član ansambla Lado. 

Godinu prije "Supertalenta" Martin je dobio priliku da nastupa i sa solistima zagrebačkog HNK-a, a može se pohvaliti i nastupom na Internacionalnom Blues festivalu u Memphisu. Evo ga u STAX Academy iz 2019. godine:

Čekamo da vidimo s kojom će pjesmom Martin Kosovec u subotu nastupiti u polufinalu "The Voicea", ali u jedno smo sigurni - on je već ozbiljna zvijezda. I zaslužio bi da mu veliki Kabiljo osobno napiše nove skladbe.
