Godine 2013., današnja sportašica godine u izboru SN, Matea Jelić, imala je 16 i bila ozlijeđena na turniru u Rijeci, prebačena u bolnicu, ali je došlo i do ozbiljnih komplikacija, krvarenja. Roditelji jasno uz postelju, a jednog dana je sasvim slučajno Janica Kostelić bila u bolnici, nekome u posjetu. Na zamolbu Mateine majke, Janica je posjetila mladu, anonimnu sportašicu. Jeste li se ikada kasnije susreli s Janicom?

- Nažalost ne, ona mi je nekako nedostupna. Nema je ni na društvenim mrežama, nigdje. Ali Ivicu sam vidjela kada je došao u Knin dodijeliti neke nagrade mladim sportašima, pa sam mu rekla da sam ležala u bolnici, da mi je Janica došla i tada mi je to silno pomoglo. Ivica se toga vjerojatno ni ne sjeća jer u to doba ja još ništa nisam osvojila, nije me mogao znati. Zato ja pamtim. Pamtim takve sportaše koje sam gledala na TV i suze su mi išle kada su pobijeđivali i bila sam ponosna na njih. Oni su mi dali da sanjam! Zato sada, kada nakon mog zlata, meni svi takvi sportaši pišu, čestitaju... ne mogu opisati što to meni znači.

A što vam je Janica tada, prije gotovo 9 godina rekla, vama tada kao klinki?

- Samo znam da ja nisam ništa rekla, već sam samo plakala. Bila sam na rubu, druga operacija već iza mene. Bila sam ranjiva jako, sve je išlo onako kako ne treba. Roditelji su bili pozitivni za mene, ali trebalo je samo nekog podstreka, snage. Iskreno, niti ne znam što je rekla. Meni je tada bilo dovoljno samo to da je Janica ušla unutra, u moju bolničku sobu tada.

U Tokiju sam odjednom postala tužna

Osim u obitelji, Matea čvrsti oslonac i mir u sebi pronalazi u vjeri što ponosno ističe. Jeste li po povratku iz Tokija učinili ono što ste iz Japana poručili - prvo obići obitelj, a potom u crkvu, pomoliti se i zahvaliti Bogu?

- Naravno, ali kada sam u Tokiju došla u zračnu luku, idemo doma, mislila sam sve je super i onda sam dobila odjednom puno ružnih komentara i poruka. Puno mi je toga došlo, te sam odjednom bila jako tužna i puno sam plakala. Tijekom leta, a to je 13 sati, puno vremena i za razmišljanje... shvatila sam, "Čekaj, pa ovo ti je zapravo kušnja. Ono što sanjaš si ostvarila i sada ti tu plačeš jer su neki ljudi nešto rekli, napisali". Onda sam se smirila, došla doma, zagrlila obitelj, prijatelje i nisam si dala ni sekunde biti nezahvalna i tužna. I naravno, otišla sam u crkvu i... tek tada sam pustila sve iz sebe van - iskreno će Matea o tužnim trenucima.

Godine 2013., današnja sportašica godine u izboru SN, Matea Jelić, imala je 16 i bila ozlijeđena na turniru u Rijeci, prebačena u bolnicu, ali je došlo i do ozbiljnih komplikacija, krvarenja. Roditelji jasno uz postelju, a jednog dana je sasvim slučajno Janica Kostelić bila u bolnici, nekome u posjetu. Na zamolbu Mateine majke, Janica je posjetila mladu, anonimnu sportašicu. Jeste li se ikada kasnije susreli s Janicom?

- Nažalost ne, ona mi je nekako nedostupna. Nema je ni na društvenim mrežama, nigdje. Ali Ivicu sam vidjela kada je došao u Knin dodijeliti neke nagrade mladim sportašima, pa sam mu rekla da sam ležala u bolnici, da mi je Janica došla i tada mi je to silno pomoglo. Ivica se toga vjerojatno ni ne sjeća jer u to doba ja još ništa nisam osvojila, nije me mogao znati. Zato ja pamtim. Pamtim takve sportaše koje sam gledala na TV i suze su mi išle kada su pobijeđivali i bila sam ponosna na njih. Oni su mi dali da sanjam! Zato sada, kada nakon mog zlata, meni svi takvi sportaši pišu, čestitaju... ne mogu opisati što to meni znači.

A što vam je Janica tada, prije gotovo 9 godina rekla, vama tada kao klinki?

- Samo znam da ja nisam ništa rekla, već sam samo plakala. Bila sam na rubu, druga operacija već iza mene. Bila sam ranjiva jako, sve je išlo onako kako ne treba. Roditelji su bili pozitivni za mene, ali trebalo je samo nekog podstreka, snage. Iskreno, niti ne znam što je rekla. Meni je tada bilo dovoljno samo to da je Janica ušla unutra, u moju bolničku sobu tada.

U Tokiju sam odjednom postala tužna

Osim u obitelji, Matea čvrsti oslonac i mir u sebi pronalazi u vjeri što ponosno ističe. Jeste li po povratku iz Tokija učinili ono što ste iz Japana poručili - prvo obići obitelj, a potom u crkvu, pomoliti se i zahvaliti Bogu?

- Naravno, ali kada sam u Tokiju došla u zračnu luku, idemo doma, mislila sam sve je super i onda sam dobila odjednom puno ružnih komentara i poruka. Puno mi je toga došlo, te sam odjednom bila jako tužna i puno sam plakala. Tijekom leta, a to je 13 sati, puno vremena i za razmišljanje... shvatila sam, "Čekaj, pa ovo ti je zapravo kušnja. Ono što sanjaš si ostvarila i sada ti tu plačeš jer su neki ljudi nešto rekli, napisali". Onda sam se smirila, došla doma, zagrlila obitelj, prijatelje i nisam si dala ni sekunde biti nezahvalna i tužna. I naravno, otišla sam u crkvu i... tek tada sam pustila sve iz sebe van - iskreno će Matea o tužnim trenucima.

Godine 2013., današnja sportašica godine u izboru SN, Matea Jelić, imala je 16 i bila ozlijeđena na turniru u Rijeci, prebačena u bolnicu, ali je došlo i do ozbiljnih komplikacija, krvarenja. Roditelji jasno uz postelju, a jednog dana je sasvim slučajno Janica Kostelić bila u bolnici, nekome u posjetu. Na zamolbu Mateine majke, Janica je posjetila mladu, anonimnu sportašicu. Jeste li se ikada kasnije susreli s Janicom?

- Nažalost ne, ona mi je nekako nedostupna. Nema je ni na društvenim mrežama, nigdje. Ali Ivicu sam vidjela kada je došao u Knin dodijeliti neke nagrade mladim sportašima, pa sam mu rekla da sam ležala u bolnici, da mi je Janica došla i tada mi je to silno pomoglo.
