Minulog nam ljeta, pa eto i na samom začetku jeseni, iz Šibenika dolaze lijepe vaterpolske vijesti, sjajni međunarodni rezultati. U živom je su još sjećanju velike igre i za naš ženski vaterpolo odličan plasman Hrvatske (7. mjesto) na juniorskom Europskom prvenstvu za djevojke. Trend su na samom kraju rujna odnosno početku listopada nastavili i vaterpolisti Solarisa. Sunčani su na jakom turniru, prvom krugu kvalifikacija Eurokupa u društvu talijanskog Palerma, španjolskog Sant Andreua, ruskog Šturma 2002, te ne baš toliko jakog švicarskog Carougea, osvojili drugo mjesto. Samim time i plasman u drugi krug kvalifikacija za Eurokup, piše portal Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza

Kada smo dan uoči šibenskog turnira razgovarali s trenerom Solarisa, Jure Marelja nam je rekao kako bi mu veće zadovoljstvo predstavljala dobra igra od rezultatskog plasmana. Prolazak dalje bio bi samo bonus, no kako su to i ostvarili, za vjerovati je kako je i igra bilo ‘po ukusu’ šefa stručnog stožera momčadi s Crnice.

– Imali smo i određenih oscilacija u odnosu na ono što sam tražio, a što smo vježbali, međutim s obzirom na izmijenjenu strategiju i neke postulate koje smo dosad imali, kao i činjenicu da su nam to prve utakmice u sezoni, te oscilacije i nisu bile velike – veli Jure Marelja i nastavlja.

– Naprotiv, mene je još i više iznenadilo što su dečki, kako je turnir dalje odmicao, još više jačali homogenost, shvaćali što se od njih traži. To je stvarno nešto što mi daje optimizam za budućnost. Sve ove momčadi koje su prošli tjedan bile i igrale u Šibeniku, od Sant Andreua pa do Palerma, su objektivno na papiru gledano bolje od nas. No, igre koje smo mi baš protiv njih pružili me vesele. To je bila idealna prilika i za njihov individualni napredak, ali i meni veliko trenersko iskustvo jer mi je to bio prvi jaki, međunarodni turnir na kojem sam vodio momčad. Dosad sam imao iskustva iz domaćih natjecanja plus regionalna odnosno Premier liga, ali ne i u Europi. Dakle, i ja sam osobno bio izvan neke ‘komforne zone’. Sukus ocjene je dakle, super! Od njihove pružene igre, plasmana dalje, organizacije turnira na bazenu, sjajnog hotelskog smještaja za sve sudionike itd.

Doznali ste već suparnike na sljedećem, drugom kvalifikacijskom turniru. Od nadolazećeg petka do nedjelje u glavnom mađarskom gradu vas čeka iznimno složen zadatak sa suparnicima koji su svi za oktavu na višoj razini od onih koje ste sada imali u Crnici. Čekaju vas Vasas, španjolski Sabadell i talijanska Ortigia.

– Dopali smo u grupu koja je super jaka. U Budimpešti ćemo mi biti praktički autsajderi, međutim i te utakmice se trebaju iskoristiti za ono što sam naglašavao, a to je poboljšanje igre, pojedinačni napredak svakog od njih, ali i kolektivni također. Iznimno nam je važno, svim tim našim igračima, da igraju protiv drugih škola vaterpola, nekih drugih postavki u obrani i napadu. Prilagodbom na te uvjete će i oni postati bolji. Zato me veseli prolazak dalje.

Kako je zdravstveno stanje u momčadi jer utakmice se nastavljaju, od srijede u kojoj vas čeka Zadar 1952, pa onda turnir u Budimpešti? Počev od Domagoja Bulata koji je bio dvojben već za šibenski turnir?

– Prvi centar, a to je Bulat, mi je zlata vrijedan budući da je ovdje dvije godine i da se uklopio u ovaj sustav igre. Njegov izostanak s treninga je bio osjetan, ali smo u utakmicama to ipak uspjeli kompenzirati. Nekim alternativnim rješenjima. Protiv Palerma je brzo nakupio tri osobne (10. minuta), što je možda i rezultat umora. Sigurno bi lakše igrali da nam je on bio ‘unutra’, ali dobro je sad. Vjerujem da ćemo do Budimpešte biti kompletni – zaključio je Jure Marelja, trener Solarisa nakon vrlo dobro odigranog prvog kvalifikacijskog turnira Eurokupa za portal HVS-a.

Minulog nam ljeta, pa eto i na samom začetku jeseni, iz Šibenika dolaze lijepe vaterpolske vijesti, sjajni međunarodni rezultati. U živom je su još sjećanju velike igre i za naš ženski vaterpolo odličan plasman Hrvatske (7. mjesto) na juniorskom Europskom prvenstvu za djevojke. Trend su na samom kraju rujna odnosno početku listopada nastavili i vaterpolisti Solarisa. Sunčani su na jakom turniru, prvom krugu kvalifikacija Eurokupa u društvu talijanskog Palerma, španjolskog Sant Andreua, ruskog Šturma 2002, te ne baš toliko jakog švicarskog Carougea, osvojili drugo mjesto. Samim time i plasman u drugi krug kvalifikacija za Eurokup, piše portal Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza

Kada smo dan uoči šibenskog turnira razgovarali s trenerom Solarisa, Jure Marelja nam je rekao kako bi mu veće zadovoljstvo predstavljala dobra igra od rezultatskog plasmana. Prolazak dalje bio bi samo bonus, no kako su to i ostvarili, za vjerovati je kako je i igra bilo ‘po ukusu’ šefa stručnog stožera momčadi s Crnice.

– Imali smo i određenih oscilacija u odnosu na ono što sam tražio, a što smo vježbali, međutim s obzirom na izmijenjenu strategiju i neke postulate koje smo dosad imali, kao i činjenicu da su nam to prve utakmice u sezoni, te oscilacije i nisu bile velike – veli Jure Marelja i nastavlja.

– Naprotiv, mene je još i više iznenadilo što su dečki, kako je turnir dalje odmicao, još više jačali homogenost, shvaćali što se od njih traži. To je stvarno nešto što mi daje optimizam za budućnost. Sve ove momčadi koje su prošli tjedan bile i igrale u Šibeniku, od Sant Andreua pa do Palerma, su objektivno na papiru gledano bolje od nas. No, igre koje smo mi baš protiv njih pružili me vesele. To je bila idealna prilika i za njihov individualni napredak, ali i meni veliko trenersko iskustvo jer mi je to bio prvi jaki, međunarodni turnir na kojem sam vodio momčad. Dosad sam imao iskustva iz domaćih natjecanja plus regionalna odnosno Premier liga, ali ne i u Europi. Dakle, i ja sam osobno bio izvan neke ‘komforne zone’. Sukus ocjene je dakle, super! Od njihove pružene igre, plasmana dalje, organizacije turnira na bazenu, sjajnog hotelskog smještaja za sve sudionike itd.

Doznali ste već suparnike na sljedećem, drugom kvalifikacijskom turniru. Od nadolazećeg petka do nedjelje u glavnom mađarskom gradu vas čeka iznimno složen zadatak sa suparnicima koji su svi za oktavu na višoj razini od onih koje ste sada imali u Crnici. Čekaju vas Vasas, španjolski Sabadell i talijanska Ortigia.

– Dopali smo u grupu koja je super jaka. U Budimpešti ćemo mi biti praktički autsajderi, međutim i te utakmice se trebaju iskoristiti za ono što sam naglašavao, a to je poboljšanje igre, pojedinačni napredak svakog od njih, ali i kolektivni također. Iznimno nam je važno, svim tim našim igračima, da igraju protiv drugih škola vaterpola, nekih drugih postavki u obrani i napadu. Prilagodbom na te uvjete će i oni postati bolji. Zato me veseli prolazak dalje.

Kako je zdravstveno stanje u momčadi jer utakmice se nastavljaju, od srijede u kojoj vas čeka Zadar 1952, pa onda turnir u Budimpešti? Počev od Domagoja Bulata koji je bio dvojben već za šibenski turnir?

– Prvi centar, a to je Bulat, mi je zlata vrijedan budući da je ovdje dvije godine i da se uklopio u ovaj sustav igre. Njegov izostanak s treninga je bio osjetan, ali smo u utakmicama to ipak uspjeli kompenzirati. Nekim alternativnim rješenjima. Protiv Palerma je brzo nakupio tri osobne (10. minuta), što je možda i rezultat umora. Sigurno bi lakše igrali da nam je on bio ‘unutra’, ali dobro je sad. Vjerujem da ćemo do Budimpešte biti kompletni – zaključio je Jure Marelja, trener Solarisa nakon vrlo dobro odigranog prvog kvalifikacijskog turnira Eurokupa za portal HVS-a.
