U nedjelju, 5. lipnja, s početkom u 19,30 sati u Hrvatskom narodnom kazalištu u Šibeniku bit će održano predstavljanje knjige “Dota od nota” autora Ante Barbače.
U prvom dijelu programa o Barbačinoj “Doti od nota” govorit će recenzenti knjige, dr. sc. Vedrana Milin – Ćurin i dr. sc. Joško Ćaleta te urednica, etnologinja Marija Krnčević Rak, viša kustosica iz Muzeja grada Šibenika, koji je i izdavač knjige.U glazbenom dijelu nastupaju: dječji zbor “Cvrčak”, pod ravnanjem prof. Sonje Batur, ženska klapa “Oršulice” iz Vodica, pod ravnanjem prof. Ive Lise, Šibensko pjevačko društvo “Kolo”, također pod ravnanjem prof. Ive Lise. te posebno za ovu prigodu okupljene muške klape “Fortica” i klapa “Prijatelji Barbiju”. Svi izvođači pjevat će Barbačine pjesme.
Slobodno možemo reći da je Ante Barbača (Šibenik 5. lipnja 1942. – Knin 26. studenog 2021.) od zaborava spasio brojne šibenske napjeve. Još kao dječak zainteresirao se za pjesmu, obilazio starije Šibenčanke i Šibenčane i šibenske toverne,slušao pjevače od kojih su neki bili rođeni još krajem 19. stoljeća, te pjesme pamtio, zapisivao, a kasnije i koristio u brojnim svojim obradama.

Pisao je i pjesme za djecu, kao i autorske pjesme. Bio je jedan od osnivača, dugogodišnji voditelj i bariton u najpoznatijoj šibenskoj klapi, klapi “Šibenik”, koja je s Barbačinim obradama narodnih pjesama osvojila brojne nagrade i srca publike diljem svijeta. Osim klape “Šibenik”, bio je jedan od osnivača i voditelj klape “Maslina”, a vodio je i klape “Kalafat”, “Ferata”, “Fortica” i žensku klapu “Oršulice”. Za svoj doprinos razvoju i održavanju dalmatinske pjesme dobio je 2002. godine povelju šibenskog festivala Večeri dalmatinske šansone, a 2019. godine dobio je Nagradu za životno djelo Grada Šibenika, i to za dugogodišnji izniman doprinos razvoju i promicanju klapskog pjevanja i očuvanju nematerijalne kulturne baštine.
Za svoje remek – djelo, knjigu “Dota od nota” je rekao: “Moja knjiga nije znanstveno djelo nego narodno-znanstveno. Znanstveno je u smislu notnih podataka, a opisi su bajkoviti, iz mog srca i emocija. U tome je draž knjige, jer nije šturi zapis, već svaka pjesma ima svoju priču.“
Knjigu je izdao Muzej grada Šibenika, a na promociji ćete je moći kupiti po promotivnoj cijeni od 150 kuna.

U nedjelju, 5. lipnja, s početkom u 19,30 sati u Hrvatskom narodnom kazalištu u Šibeniku bit će održano predstavljanje knjige “Dota od nota” autora Ante Barbače.
U prvom dijelu programa o Barbačinoj “Doti od nota” govorit će recenzenti knjige, dr. sc. Vedrana Milin – Ćurin i dr. sc. Joško Ćaleta te urednica, etnologinja Marija Krnčević Rak, viša kustosica iz Muzeja grada Šibenika, koji je i izdavač knjige.U glazbenom dijelu nastupaju: dječji zbor “Cvrčak”, pod ravnanjem prof. Sonje Batur, ženska klapa “Oršulice” iz Vodica, pod ravnanjem prof. Ive Lise, Šibensko pjevačko društvo “Kolo”, također pod ravnanjem prof. Ive Lise. te posebno za ovu prigodu okupljene muške klape “Fortica” i klapa “Prijatelji Barbiju”. Svi izvođači pjevat će Barbačine pjesme.
Slobodno možemo reći da je Ante Barbača (Šibenik 5. lipnja 1942. – Knin 26. studenog 2021.) od zaborava spasio brojne šibenske napjeve. Još kao dječak zainteresirao se za pjesmu, obilazio starije Šibenčanke i Šibenčane i šibenske toverne,slušao pjevače od kojih su neki bili rođeni još krajem 19. stoljeća, te pjesme pamtio, zapisivao, a kasnije i koristio u brojnim svojim obradama.

Pisao je i pjesme za djecu, kao i autorske pjesme. Bio je jedan od osnivača, dugogodišnji voditelj i bariton u najpoznatijoj šibenskoj klapi, klapi “Šibenik”, koja je s Barbačinim obradama narodnih pjesama osvojila brojne nagrade i srca publike diljem svijeta. Osim klape “Šibenik”, bio je jedan od osnivača i voditelj klape “Maslina”, a vodio je i klape “Kalafat”, “Ferata”, “Fortica” i žensku klapu “Oršulice”. Za svoj doprinos razvoju i održavanju dalmatinske pjesme dobio je 2002. godine povelju šibenskog festivala Večeri dalmatinske šansone, a 2019. godine dobio je Nagradu za životno djelo Grada Šibenika, i to za dugogodišnji izniman doprinos razvoju i promicanju klapskog pjevanja i očuvanju nematerijalne kulturne baštine.
Za svoje remek – djelo, knjigu “Dota od nota” je rekao: “Moja knjiga nije znanstveno djelo nego narodno-znanstveno. Znanstveno je u smislu notnih podataka, a opisi su bajkoviti, iz mog srca i emocija. U tome je draž knjige, jer nije šturi zapis, već svaka pjesma ima svoju priču.“
Knjigu je izdao Muzej grada Šibenika, a na promociji ćete je moći kupiti po promotivnoj cijeni od 150 kuna.
