Stotine ljudi okupilo se u obalnom toskanskom gradu Piombinu u subotu kako bi prosvjedovali protiv plana o gradnji terminala ukapljenog prirodnog plina (LNG) za koji nacionalna vlada kaže da je potreban kako bi se Italiji osigurala dovoljna količina goriva kad dođe do pomanjkanja energenata.

"Piombino pripada nama, nemate što ovdje raditi", prosvjedovali su ljudi na ulicama grada iz kojega kreću trajekti za popularni otok Elbu.

"Gradnja LNG terminala u luci Piombina pogrešna je odluka", smatra gradonačelnik Francesco Ferrari iz ekstremno desne stranke Braća Italije.

Mještani kažu da bi terminal mogao uništiti turizam i angažirali su odvjetnika koji će ih zastupati.

Rim želi usidriti brod kraj Piombina na tri godine kako bi dostavljao ukapljeni plin u iznosu do 6,5 posto godišnje potrošnje Italije. Prema navodima medija, terminal bi mogao biti pušten u pogon do ožujka. 

Kao i dobar dio Europe, Italija većinu plina uvozi iz Rusije. No otkad je Rusija napala Ukrajinu u veljači, ta je opskrba postala nepouzdanom zbog sankcija zapada Rusiji.

Stotine ljudi okupilo se u obalnom toskanskom gradu Piombinu u subotu kako bi prosvjedovali protiv plana o gradnji terminala ukapljenog prirodnog plina (LNG) za koji nacionalna vlada kaže da je potreban kako bi se Italiji osigurala dovoljna količina goriva kad dođe do pomanjkanja energenata.

"Piombino pripada nama, nemate što ovdje raditi", prosvjedovali su ljudi na ulicama grada iz kojega kreću trajekti za popularni otok Elbu.

"Gradnja LNG terminala u luci Piombina pogrešna je odluka", smatra gradonačelnik Francesco Ferrari iz ekstremno desne stranke Braća Italije.

Mještani kažu da bi terminal mogao uništiti turizam i angažirali su odvjetnika koji će ih zastupati.

Rim želi usidriti brod kraj Piombina na tri godine kako bi dostavljao ukapljeni plin u iznosu do 6,5 posto godišnje potrošnje Italije. Prema navodima medija, terminal bi mogao biti pušten u pogon do ožujka. 

Kao i dobar dio Europe, Italija većinu plina uvozi iz Rusije. No otkad je Rusija napala Ukrajinu u veljači, ta je opskrba postala nepouzdanom zbog sankcija zapada Rusiji.

Stotine ljudi okupilo se u obalnom toskanskom gradu Piombinu u subotu kako bi prosvjedovali protiv plana o gradnji terminala ukapljenog prirodnog plina (LNG) za koji nacionalna vlada kaže da je potreban kako bi se Italiji osigurala dovoljna količina goriva kad dođe do pomanjkanja energenata.

"Piombino pripada nama, nemate što ovdje raditi", prosvjedovali su ljudi na ulicama grada iz kojega kreću trajekti za popularni otok Elbu.

"Gradnja LNG terminala u luci Piombina pogrešna je odluka", smatra gradonačelnik Francesco Ferrari iz ekstremno desne stranke Braća Italije.

Mještani kažu da bi terminal mogao uništiti turizam i angažirali su odvjetnika koji će ih zastupati.

Rim želi usidriti brod kraj Piombina na tri godine kako bi dostavljao ukapljeni plin u iznosu do 6,5 posto godišnje potrošnje Italije. Prema navodima medija, terminal bi mogao biti pušten u pogon do ožujka. 

Kao i dobar dio Europe, Italija većinu plina uvozi iz Rusije. No otkad je Rusija napala Ukrajinu u veljači, ta je opskrba postala nepouzdanom zbog sankcija zapada Rusiji.
