U Supetru na kupalištu Vlačica postavljena je skulptura periske, rad bračkog kipara Dragoslava Dragičevića, piše portal otoci.eu.

Plemenita periska (lat. Pinna nobilis) najveći je školjkaš Mediterana koji nastanjuje Jadransko more na dubinama od 2 do 30 metara. Može doseći duljinu do 120 centimetara, te ima ulogu filtriranja mora. Na njenim je ljušturama stanište brojnih drugih morskih vrsta i to je čini važnim dijelom ekosustava.

Nažalost ova se vrsta suočava s kritičnom ugroženošću u cijelom Mediteranu. Unatoč tome što je strogo zaštićena, trenutno ne postoji učinkovita metoda za sprječavanje njihova izumiranja i zaustavljanje širenja zaraze koja ih pogađa. Njihovo preživljavanje postalo je ozbiljno pitanje zaštite okoliša i zahtijeva hitne napore u istraživanju i zaštiti kako bi se spriječio daljnji pad njihovih populacija.

Postavljanje skulpture plemenite periske od bijelog bračkog kamena uz obalu izvrstan je način podizanja svijesti o ugroženosti ove vrste.

Skulptura visoka 250 cm postavljena uz more dominantan je "landmark" te može postati simbol, mjesto okupljanja i platforma za edukaciju o važnosti očuvanja morskog ekosustava. Ovaj projekt podsjeća i potiče lokalnu zajednicu i njihove goste na angažman u očuvanju okoliša. Izabrana pozicija za postavljanje skulpture vidljiva je iz grada Supetra, s mora, trajekta i šetnice uz obalu, te čini skulpturu periske nezaobilaznim dijelom krajolika. Suradnja s umjetnicima, školama i organizacijama za zaštitu okoliša može biti ključna za uspjeh ovakve inicijative i daljnje dizanje svijesti o važnosti zaštite mora. Pokraj periske Grad Supetar će izgraditi dječji park i mjesto okupljanja za djecu i mlade sa morskom tematikom i edukacijskim tablama.

Skulpturu su zajednički financirali Grad Supetar i TZ Supetar, a ugradnju su izvršili meštri iz Komunalno društvo Grad doo.

U Supetru na kupalištu Vlačica postavljena je skulptura periske, rad bračkog kipara Dragoslava Dragičevića, piše portal otoci.eu.

Plemenita periska (lat. Pinna nobilis) najveći je školjkaš Mediterana koji nastanjuje Jadransko more na dubinama od 2 do 30 metara. Može doseći duljinu do 120 centimetara, te ima ulogu filtriranja mora. Na njenim je ljušturama stanište brojnih drugih morskih vrsta i to je čini važnim dijelom ekosustava.

Nažalost ova se vrsta suočava s kritičnom ugroženošću u cijelom Mediteranu. Unatoč tome što je strogo zaštićena, trenutno ne postoji učinkovita metoda za sprječavanje njihova izumiranja i zaustavljanje širenja zaraze koja ih pogađa. Njihovo preživljavanje postalo je ozbiljno pitanje zaštite okoliša i zahtijeva hitne napore u istraživanju i zaštiti kako bi se spriječio daljnji pad njihovih populacija.

Postavljanje skulpture plemenite periske od bijelog bračkog kamena uz obalu izvrstan je način podizanja svijesti o ugroženosti ove vrste.

Skulptura visoka 250 cm postavljena uz more dominantan je "landmark" te može postati simbol, mjesto okupljanja i platforma za edukaciju o važnosti očuvanja morskog ekosustava. Ovaj projekt podsjeća i potiče lokalnu zajednicu i njihove goste na angažman u očuvanju okoliša. Izabrana pozicija za postavljanje skulpture vidljiva je iz grada Supetra, s mora, trajekta i šetnice uz obalu, te čini skulpturu periske nezaobilaznim dijelom krajolika. Suradnja s umjetnicima, školama i organizacijama za zaštitu okoliša može biti ključna za uspjeh ovakve inicijative i daljnje dizanje svijesti o važnosti zaštite mora. Pokraj periske Grad Supetar će izgraditi dječji park i mjesto okupljanja za djecu i mlade sa morskom tematikom i edukacijskim tablama.

Skulpturu su zajednički financirali Grad Supetar i TZ Supetar, a ugradnju su izvršili meštri iz Komunalno društvo Grad doo.

U Supetru na kupalištu Vlačica postavljena je skulptura periske, rad bračkog kipara Dragoslava Dragičevića, piše portal otoci.eu.

Plemenita periska (lat. Pinna nobilis) najveći je školjkaš Mediterana koji nastanjuje Jadransko more na dubinama od 2 do 30 metara. Može doseći duljinu do 120 centimetara, te ima ulogu filtriranja mora. Na njenim je ljušturama stanište brojnih drugih morskih vrsta i to je čini važnim dijelom ekosustava.

Nažalost ova se vrsta suočava s kritičnom ugroženošću u cijelom Mediteranu. Unatoč tome što je strogo zaštićena, trenutno ne postoji učinkovita metoda za sprječavanje njihova izumiranja i zaustavljanje širenja zaraze koja ih pogađa. Njihovo preživljavanje postalo je ozbiljno pitanje zaštite okoliša i zahtijeva hitne napore u istraživanju i zaštiti kako bi se spriječio daljnji pad njihovih populacija.

Postavljanje skulpture plemenite periske od bijelog bračkog kamena uz obalu izvrstan je način podizanja svijesti o ugroženosti ove vrste.

Skulptura visoka 250 cm postavljena uz more dominantan je "landmark" te može postati simbol, mjesto okupljanja i platforma za edukaciju o važnosti očuvanja morskog ekosustava. Ovaj projekt podsjeća i potiče lokalnu zajednicu i njihove goste na angažman u očuvanju okoliša. Izabrana pozicija za postavljanje skulpture vidljiva je iz grada Supetra, s mora, trajekta i šetnice uz obalu, te čini skulpturu periske nezaobilaznim dijelom krajolika. Suradnja s umjetnicima, školama i organizacijama za zaštitu okoliša može biti ključna za uspjeh ovakve inicijative i daljnje dizanje svijesti o važnosti zaštite mora. Pokraj periske Grad Supetar će izgraditi dječji park i mjesto okupljanja za djecu i mlade sa morskom tematikom i edukacijskim tablama.

Skulpturu su zajednički financirali Grad Supetar i TZ Supetar, a ugradnju su izvršili meštri iz Komunalno društvo Grad doo.
