Projekt #itIsNotToolate Morske Livade čiji je nositelj Udruga za prirodu, okoliš, održivi razvoj i turizam Lončari iz Karina, ušao je u finale natjecanja New European Bauhaus Champions 2024 u kategoriji Reconnecting with nature. Glasovanje traje do 27. ožujka.

Projekt je izabran među 50 finalista u konkurenciji 530 projekata iz cijele Europe.

Samo jedan projekt u natjecateljskoj skupini A "Prvaci novog europskog Bauhausa", posvećenoj postojećim i dovršenim projektima s jasnim i pozitivnim rezultatima, bit će nagrađen po broju glasova koje dobije na platformi NEB Prizes, dok će stručni ocjenjivački sud nagraditi po jednog pobjednika i drugoplasiranog u svakoj od četiri kategorije: Ponovno povezivanje s prirodom, Vraćanje osjećaja pripadnosti, Davanje prioriteta mjestima i ljudima kojima je to najpotrebnije, Oblikovanje kružnog industrijskog ekosustava i potpora razmatranju životnog ciklusa. Pobjednici i drugoplasirani primit će novčanu nagradu od: 30 tisuća eura za pobjednike i 20 tisuća eura za drugoplasirane.

U blizini puta za selo Lončari (Karin Gornji), na stazi koja vodi do kanjona rijeke Bijele, nalazi se instalacija američkog umjetnika Dodda Holsapplea nazvana "See Glass Again". Nastao kao rezultat projekta morskih livada. Ovaj rad promjera devet metara predstavlja najveću umjetničku intervenciju u javnom prostoru u Hrvatskoj u čijoj su izradi sudjelovale stotine ljudi.

Izrada instalacije "See Glass Again" rezultat je niza eko akcija, koje su, osim Udruge za prirodu, okoliš, održivi razvoj i turizam Lončari, vodile i udruga Eko Zrmanja i Društvo istraživača mora 20000 milja. Od 2020. do 2022. provedene su akcija čišćenja podmorja Karinskog i Novigradskog mora, kartiranje staništa morskih cvjetnica Karinskog mora, te tri akcije čišćenja kanjona rijeke Bijela, u kojima su volonteri, lokalni aktivisti, planinari i penjači sakupili 120 kubika staklenog otpada, kao i pet tona okolnog smeća.

Cilj projekta, osim čišćenja kanjona Bijele i podmorja Karinskog i Novigradskog mora, bio je i osvještavanje javnosti o važnosti zaštite morskih livada. Tako je sakupljeni stakleni otpad poslužio kao materijal za izradu umjetničke instalacije u obliku prstena s mozaikom jegulje, kojom je prostor ilegalnog odlagališta otpada tijekom rujna 2023. transformiran u vidikovac, mjesto susreta i razgovora. Osim Holsapplea, izradi su prisustvovali lokalni mještani, volonteri, penjači i planinari, pa je tako umjetničko djelo, osim umjetnikovog, dobilo i potpis svih onih koji su sudjelovali u javnim događanjima projekta.

U organizaciji svih događaja uvelike je pomogao Sportsko penjački klub Paklenica.

Projekt je izabran među 50 finalista u konkurenciji 530 projekata iz cijele Europe.

Samo jedan projekt u natjecateljskoj skupini A "Prvaci novog europskog Bauhausa", posvećenoj postojećim i dovršenim projektima s jasnim i pozitivnim rezultatima, bit će nagrađen po broju glasova koje dobije na platformi NEB Prizes, dok će stručni ocjenjivački sud nagraditi po jednog pobjednika i drugoplasiranog u svakoj od četiri kategorije: Ponovno povezivanje s prirodom, Vraćanje osjećaja pripadnosti, Davanje prioriteta mjestima i ljudima kojima je to najpotrebnije, Oblikovanje kružnog industrijskog ekosustava i potpora razmatranju životnog ciklusa. Pobjednici i drugoplasirani primit će novčanu nagradu od: 30 tisuća eura za pobjednike i 20 tisuća eura za drugoplasirane.

U blizini puta za selo Lončari (Karin Gornji), na stazi koja vodi do kanjona rijeke Bijele, nalazi se instalacija američkog umjetnika Dodda Holsapplea nazvana "See Glass Again". Nastao kao rezultat projekta morskih livada. Ovaj rad promjera devet metara predstavlja najveću umjetničku intervenciju u javnom prostoru u Hrvatskoj u čijoj su izradi sudjelovale stotine ljudi.

Izrada instalacije "See Glass Again" rezultat je niza eko akcija, koje su, osim Udruge za prirodu, okoliš, održivi razvoj i turizam Lončari, vodile i udruga Eko Zrmanja i Društvo istraživača mora 20000 milja. Od 2020. do 2022. provedene su akcija čišćenja podmorja Karinskog i Novigradskog mora, kartiranje staništa morskih cvjetnica Karinskog mora, te tri akcije čišćenja kanjona rijeke Bijela, u kojima su volonteri, lokalni aktivisti, planinari i penjači sakupili 120 kubika staklenog otpada, kao i pet tona okolnog smeća.

Cilj projekta, osim čišćenja kanjona Bijele i podmorja Karinskog i Novigradskog mora, bio je i osvještavanje javnosti o važnosti zaštite morskih livada. Tako je sakupljeni stakleni otpad poslužio kao materijal za izradu umjetničke instalacije u obliku prstena s mozaikom jegulje, kojom je prostor ilegalnog odlagališta otpada tijekom rujna 2023. transformiran u vidikovac, mjesto susreta i razgovora. Osim Holsapplea, izradi su prisustvovali lokalni mještani, volonteri, penjači i planinari, pa je tako umjetničko djelo, osim umjetnikovog, dobilo i potpis svih onih koji su sudjelovali u javnim događanjima projekta.

U organizaciji svih događaja uvelike je pomogao Sportsko penjački klub Paklenica.
