U sklopu ovogodišnje Noći muzeja, kojoj je središnja tema "Muzeji i nova publika", Hrvatski pomorski muzej Split i Dalmatinsko kolekcionarsko društvo "Diokles" iz Splita organiziraju predstavljanje donacije maketa brodova iz zbirke admirala Benka Matulić.

Predstavljanje će se održati ovaj  petak (26. siječnja) u 18:30 sati u Hrvatskom pomorskom muzeju, Glagoljaška 18 na Gripama.

Izložbu maketa, koje je tijekom 2023. DKD "Diokles" temeljito restaurirao i konzervirao, uz materijalnu pomoć Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, svečano će otvoriti Blaženko Boban, Splitsko-dalmatinski župan. 

Cilj javnog predstavljanja ove donacije je privlačenje novih potencijalnih donatora koji bi svojim donacijama dodatno mogli obogatiti zbirke naših muzeja.

Inače, viceadmiral Benko Matulić, bio je predratni ribar, jedan je od organizatora ustanka protiv talijanskog fašističkog okupatora u Dalmaciji. Poslije rata obnašao je cijeli niz visokih i odgovornih dužnosti u JRM, a bio je i urednik u Pomorskoj enciklopediji.

U vrijeme MASPOK-a je bio zamjenik zapovjednika JRM i, po svjedočenjima mnogih, izravno je štitio ljude koji su 1971. optuženi za hrvatski nacionalizam, a među kojima je bio i Luka Bebić, kasniji predsjednik Hrvatskog sabora.

U sklopu ovogodišnje Noći muzeja, kojoj je središnja tema "Muzeji i nova publika", Hrvatski pomorski muzej Split i Dalmatinsko kolekcionarsko društvo "Diokles" iz Splita organiziraju predstavljanje donacije maketa brodova iz zbirke admirala Benka Matulić.

Predstavljanje će se održati ovaj  petak (26. siječnja) u 18:30 sati u Hrvatskom pomorskom muzeju, Glagoljaška 18 na Gripama.

Izložbu maketa, koje je tijekom 2023. DKD "Diokles" temeljito restaurirao i konzervirao, uz materijalnu pomoć Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, svečano će otvoriti Blaženko Boban, Splitsko-dalmatinski župan. 

Cilj javnog predstavljanja ove donacije je privlačenje novih potencijalnih donatora koji bi svojim donacijama dodatno mogli obogatiti zbirke naših muzeja.

Inače, viceadmiral Benko Matulić, bio je predratni ribar, jedan je od organizatora ustanka protiv talijanskog fašističkog okupatora u Dalmaciji. Poslije rata obnašao je cijeli niz visokih i odgovornih dužnosti u JRM, a bio je i urednik u Pomorskoj enciklopediji.

U vrijeme MASPOK-a je bio zamjenik zapovjednika JRM i, po svjedočenjima mnogih, izravno je štitio ljude koji su 1971. optuženi za hrvatski nacionalizam, a među kojima je bio i Luka Bebić, kasniji predsjednik Hrvatskog sabora.

U sklopu ovogodišnje Noći muzeja, kojoj je središnja tema "Muzeji i nova publika", Hrvatski pomorski muzej Split i Dalmatinsko kolekcionarsko društvo "Diokles" iz Splita organiziraju predstavljanje donacije maketa brodova iz zbirke admirala Benka Matulić.

Predstavljanje će se održati ovaj  petak (26. siječnja) u 18:30 sati u Hrvatskom pomorskom muzeju, Glagoljaška 18 na Gripama.

Izložbu maketa, koje je tijekom 2023. DKD "Diokles" temeljito restaurirao i konzervirao, uz materijalnu pomoć Splitsko-dalmatinske županije, svečano će otvoriti Blaženko Boban, Splitsko-dalmatinski župan. 

Cilj javnog predstavljanja ove donacije je privlačenje novih potencijalnih donatora koji bi svojim donacijama dodatno mogli obogatiti zbirke naših muzeja.

Inače, viceadmiral Benko Matulić, bio je predratni ribar, jedan je od organizatora ustanka protiv talijanskog fašističkog okupatora u Dalmaciji. Poslije rata obnašao je cijeli niz visokih i odgovornih dužnosti u JRM, a bio je i urednik u Pomorskoj enciklopediji.

U vrijeme MASPOK-a je bio zamjenik zapovjednika JRM i, po svjedočenjima mnogih, izravno je štitio ljude koji su 1971. optuženi za hrvatski nacionalizam, a među kojima je bio i Luka Bebić, kasniji predsjednik Hrvatskog sabora.
