Mrdavci, silikonci i kako sve još zvane varalice od mekane plastike, odavno su najviše rabljena skupina umjetnih mamaca. Ponajprije zahvaljujući tome što imaju pokrete najsličnije prirodnim mamcima, pa ih ribe napadaju radije nego druge vrste varalica. Od drugih vrsta varalica razlikuju se, na žalost, i po velikom postotku pogodaka - u ništa, odnosno nerealiziranih ulova.

No, za to nije kriva loša ili manjkava konstrukcija varalica, nego njihovo nepravilno ili nedovoljno naoružavanje, uglavnom zbog štednje proizvođača ili neznanja ribolovaca. S dovoljnim brojem te prikladno velikim i na pravo mjesto postavljenim udicama, broj prevarenih, a neulovljenih riba tim varalicama daleko je manji.

Mjesto izlaska

Smanjiti broj spadanja dosta je lako. Najjednostavnije postavljanjem dovoljno velikih udica na pravo mjesto. U pravilu, kada je riječ o nadijevanju na samo jednu udicu, ona iz mekane ribice treba izići točno na polovini dužine varalice. Pri postavljanju udice u srpoliki twister, njezin se vanjski njezin dio treba nalaziti na posljednjoj trećini varalice ili što je moguće bliže njemu.

Optimalna veličina udice najviše ovisi o dužini varalice. U priloženoj tablici na dnu teksta dane su najprimjerenije veličine udice za određene dužine najviše rabljenih shad varalica, onih s poprečnom plohom na kraju. Valja imati na umu da su moguća manja odstupanja, jer udice različitih proizvođača nisu posve jednakih dimenzija, čak i kad su označene istim brojevima.

Nešto kompliciranije, ali bolje rješenje naoružavanja dugačkih varalica, jest postavljanje dodatnih udica, rampina ili jednokrakih. U tom slučaju može se zadržati originalna udica, a dodatna može biti ista ili veća, prema priloženoj tablici.

Prsten i kopča

Dodatno naoružavanje moguće je provesti na više načina. Najjednostavniji, ali najmanje učinkovit jest da se na krivinu postojeće postavi prsten druge udice, koja se zatim zabode u tijelo varalice.

Puno bolji način prikazan je slikama broj 1 - 4. Dodatna udica se veže za strunu, najbolje podatnu višenitnu, koja se zatim provuče kroz tijelo i zaveže za prsten na jigg, olovnoj glavi. Na taj se način može birati mjesto gdje će se postaviti dodatna udica.

Najbolji način postavljanja dodatne udice prikazan je slikama broj 5 - 7, pomoću prstena i kopče. On omogućava brzo i jednostavno premještanje dodatne udice na novu poziciju ili varalicu.

Mrdavci, silikonci i kako sve još zvane varalice od mekane plastike, odavno su najviše rabljena skupina umjetnih mamaca. Ponajprije zahvaljujući tome što imaju pokrete najsličnije prirodnim mamcima, pa ih ribe napadaju radije nego druge vrste varalica. Od drugih vrsta varalica razlikuju se, na žalost, i po velikom postotku pogodaka - u ništa, odnosno nerealiziranih ulova.

No, za to nije kriva loša ili manjkava konstrukcija varalica, nego njihovo nepravilno ili nedovoljno naoružavanje, uglavnom zbog štednje proizvođača ili neznanja ribolovaca. S dovoljnim brojem te prikladno velikim i na pravo mjesto postavljenim udicama, broj prevarenih, a neulovljenih riba tim varalicama daleko je manji.

Mjesto izlaska

Smanjiti broj spadanja dosta je lako. Najjednostavnije postavljanjem dovoljno velikih udica na pravo mjesto. U pravilu, kada je riječ o nadijevanju na samo jednu udicu, ona iz mekane ribice treba izići točno na polovini dužine varalice. Pri postavljanju udice u srpoliki twister, njezin se vanjski njezin dio treba nalaziti na posljednjoj trećini varalice ili što je moguće bliže njemu.

Optimalna veličina udice najviše ovisi o dužini varalice. U priloženoj tablici na dnu teksta dane su najprimjerenije veličine udice za određene dužine najviše rabljenih shad varalica, onih s poprečnom plohom na kraju. Valja imati na umu da su moguća manja odstupanja, jer udice različitih proizvođača nisu posve jednakih dimenzija, čak i kad su označene istim brojevima.

Nešto kompliciranije, ali bolje rješenje naoružavanja dugačkih varalica, jest postavljanje dodatnih udica, rampina ili jednokrakih. U tom slučaju može se zadržati originalna udica, a dodatna može biti ista ili veća, prema priloženoj tablici.

Prsten i kopča

Dodatno naoružavanje moguće je provesti na više načina. Najjednostavniji, ali najmanje učinkovit jest da se na krivinu postojeće postavi prsten druge udice, koja se zatim zabode u tijelo varalice.

Puno bolji način prikazan je slikama broj 1 - 4. Dodatna udica se veže za strunu, najbolje podatnu višenitnu, koja se zatim provuče kroz tijelo i zaveže za prsten na jigg, olovnoj glavi. Na taj se način može birati mjesto gdje će se postaviti dodatna udica.

Najbolji način postavljanja dodatne udice prikazan je slikama broj 5 - 7, pomoću prstena i kopče. On omogućava brzo i jednostavno premještanje dodatne udice na novu poziciju ili varalicu.
