Nakon punih 37 godina ostavljenih za krmom, od čega gotovo polovicu u floti danas pokojne "Lošinjske plovidbe", na rezanje u pakistanskom Gadaniju čeka brod za prijevoz općih tereta "Zara", domaćim pomorcima poznatiji kao nekadašnji "Liski".

Libanonski vlasnici broda koji je od proljeća 2016. godine plovio pod zastavom afričke države Togo odlučili su veterana svjetskih mora prodati u staro željezo, za što su, prema raspoloživim podacima, "uhvatili" trenutno dobru cijenu od gotovo 1,1 milijun dolara.

Za taj iznos će "Zara" poslije posljednje plovidbe iz kuvajtske luke Shuaiba uskoro biti nasukana na pješčanu plažu na obali Arapskog zaljeva gdje će okončati život započet u prosincu 1983. godine nakon porinuća s navoza škvera u španjolskom Vigu gdje ga je pod imemom "Vinuesa" prezuela lokalna tvrtka "Compania Oceanica Bret".

Šest godina kasnije kupila ga je "Lošinjska plovidba" i nazvala ga "Liski" po uvali smještenoj na zapadnoj obali otoka Lošinja. Brod dug 119,5 metara i širok 18,5 metara, s nosivošću od 8556 tona, ostao je u vlasništvu domaće kompanije, uz višestruku promjenu zastava, sve do 2007. godine, kada su ga kupili Grci i nazvali ga "Plori".

Riječ je bilo o drugom brodu u dugoj poslovnoj povijesti tvrtke koji je ponio ime "Liski" po uvali na zapadnoj obali otoka Lošinja, jer se jadranski pomorski znalci vjerojatno sjećaju i prvog člana flote s tim nazivom, "norvežanina" koji je od 1974. godine plovio svjetskim morima s grbom "LP" na cimunjeri, da bi stranice brodskog dnevnika bile zauvijek zatvorene 23. svibnja 1988. godine kada ga je "Brodospasov" tegljač "Deneb" doteglio iz Cresa u također odavno zaboravljeno rezalište u Svetom Kaju.

Nakon punih 37 godina ostavljenih za krmom, od čega gotovo polovicu u floti danas pokojne "Lošinjske plovidbe", na rezanje u pakistanskom Gadaniju čeka brod za prijevoz općih tereta "Zara", domaćim pomorcima poznatiji kao nekadašnji "Liski".

Libanonski vlasnici broda koji je od proljeća 2016. godine plovio pod zastavom afričke države Togo odlučili su veterana svjetskih mora prodati u staro željezo, za što su, prema raspoloživim podacima, "uhvatili" trenutno dobru cijenu od gotovo 1,1 milijun dolara.

Za taj iznos će "Zara" poslije posljednje plovidbe iz kuvajtske luke Shuaiba uskoro biti nasukana na pješčanu plažu na obali Arapskog zaljeva gdje će okončati život započet u prosincu 1983. godine nakon porinuća s navoza škvera u španjolskom Vigu gdje ga je pod imemom "Vinuesa" prezuela lokalna tvrtka "Compania Oceanica Bret".

Šest godina kasnije kupila ga je "Lošinjska plovidba" i nazvala ga "Liski" po uvali smještenoj na zapadnoj obali otoka Lošinja. Brod dug 119,5 metara i širok 18,5 metara, s nosivošću od 8556 tona, ostao je u vlasništvu domaće kompanije, uz višestruku promjenu zastava, sve do 2007. godine, kada su ga kupili Grci i nazvali ga "Plori".

Riječ je bilo o drugom brodu u dugoj poslovnoj povijesti tvrtke koji je ponio ime "Liski" po uvali na zapadnoj obali otoka Lošinja, jer se jadranski pomorski znalci vjerojatno sjećaju i prvog člana flote s tim nazivom, "norvežanina" koji je od 1974. godine plovio svjetskim morima s grbom "LP" na cimunjeri, da bi stranice brodskog dnevnika bile zauvijek zatvorene 23. svibnja 1988. godine kada ga je "Brodospasov" tegljač "Deneb" doteglio iz Cresa u također odavno zaboravljeno rezalište u Svetom Kaju.

Nakon punih 37 godina ostavljenih za krmom, od čega gotovo polovicu u floti danas pokojne "Lošinjske plovidbe", na rezanje u pakistanskom Gadaniju čeka brod za prijevoz općih tereta "Zara", domaćim pomorcima poznatiji kao nekadašnji "Liski".

Libanonski vlasnici broda koji je od proljeća 2016. godine plovio pod zastavom afričke države Togo odlučili su veterana svjetskih mora prodati u staro željezo, za što su, prema raspoloživim podacima, "uhvatili" trenutno dobru cijenu od gotovo 1,1 milijun dolara.

Za taj iznos će "Zara" poslije posljednje plovidbe iz kuvajtske luke Shuaiba uskoro biti nasukana na pješčanu plažu na obali Arapskog zaljeva gdje će okončati život započet u prosincu 1983. godine nakon porinuća s navoza škvera u španjolskom Vigu gdje ga je pod imemom "Vinuesa" prezuela lokalna tvrtka "Compania Oceanica Bret".

Šest godina kasnije kupila ga je "Lošinjska plovidba" i nazvala ga "Liski" po uvali smještenoj na zapadnoj obali otoka Lošinja. Brod dug 119,5 metara i širok 18,5 metara, s nosivošću od 8556 tona, ostao je u vlasništvu domaće kompanije, uz višestruku promjenu zastava, sve do 2007. godine, kada su ga kupili Grci i nazvali ga "Plori".

Riječ je bilo o drugom brodu u dugoj poslovnoj povijesti tvrtke koji je ponio ime "Liski" po uvali na zapadnoj obali otoka Lošinja, jer se jadranski pomorski znalci vjerojatno sjećaju i prvog člana flote s tim nazivom, "norvežanina" koji je od 1974. godine plovio svjetskim morima s grbom "LP" na cimunjeri, da bi stranice brodskog dnevnika bile zauvijek zatvorene 23. svibnja 1988. godine kada ga je "Brodospasov" tegljač "Deneb" doteglio iz Cresa u također odavno zaboravljeno rezalište u Svetom Kaju.
