Planiram kupnju jedrilice Sun Odyssey 349, ponajprije za odmor, ali i za povremeno sudjelovanje na klupskim regatama. Molim vas za savjet koji tip jedara odabrati – dakron, laminat ili karbon, u smislu kvalitete, trajnosti i omjera vrijednosti i cijene? Također me zanima koliko veću brzinu broda u istim uvjetima mogu dobiti s najskupljim jedrima? Unaprijed hvala.

Vi ste se već kod odabira modela odlučili za primarnu namjenu svoje jedrilice, kako i sami kažete, ponajprije za odmor. Ako već želite nastupati i na ponekim regatama, logično je da želite postizati i što bolje rezultate, ali ovim i sličnim modelima teško možete izbiti u prvi plan i biti među vodećim jedrilicama u regati.

Međutim, jedan od razloga brojnosti krstaša na regatama jest i činjenica da, bez obzira na ostale desetke ili stotine jedrilica u regati i velike rastegnutosti po regatnom polju, vi uvijek imate njih nekoliko koje su gotovo na svim regatama u vašoj blizini.

Dakle, osim službenog plasmana, u regati gotovo svi sudionici imaju i neka svoja mala interna natjecanja s jedrilicama sličnih brzina. U ovoj konkurenciji prednost bolje opreme, a naročito jedara, znatno je više izražena.

Vijek trajanja

Općenito, jedra od klasičnog dakrona su najjeftinija i imaju najdulji vijek trajanja. Korektno održavana, prosječno traju oko osam godina. Jedra od radijalnog dakrona, materijala koji za radijalni kroj ima i posebnu tehniku tkanja, mogu se već smatrati regatnim jedrima.

Sedamdesetak posto su skuplja od klasičnog dakrona, a vijek trajanja im je dvije godine kraći. Najjeftinija mylarom laminirana jedra su tridesetak posto skuplja od radijalnog dakrona, dakle 2,2 puta više od klasičnog dakrona, a vijek trajanja im je također oko šest godina.

Profesionalna regatna jedra, tipa 3DL i slična, gotovo su tri puta skuplja od klasičnog dakrona, a uz pravilno rukovanje i održavanje vijek trajanja im je četiri sezone.

Jedra koja u svojoj strukturi imaju niti spectre, tipa 3Di i slična, dosta su laganija i gotovo dvostruko dugotrajnija od 3DL jedara, a cijena im je tek deset do petnaest posto veća.

Laminirana jedra su manje rastezljiva, bolje drže formu i bolje koriste vjetar, međutim, zahtijevaju stalno i precizno trimanje. Ako posada to ne radi dovoljno dobro, ni očekivana učinkovitost jedara neće biti dovoljno dobra.

Nabavite drifter

Što se tiče vijeka trajanja, valja napomenuti još nešto. Dakron traje dugo, ali mu se početna forma jedra s vremenom deformira. Kevlar i karbon u regatnim jedrima čuvaju početnu formu, rastežu se minimalno te se forma zadržava cijelim vijekom trajanja.

Sun Odyssey 349 u kursu ide oštro u vjetar i ne može postići neke zavidne brzine, međutim, čim se škote mogu malo popustiti, ta brzina dosta raste.

Kako imate namjeru nastupati na regatama, možda bi bilo bolje da za razliku u cijeni između regatnih jedara i klasičnog dakrona radije nabavite kvalitetan drifter, genaker i/ili špinaker.

Vi ste se već kod odabira modela odlučili za primarnu namjenu svoje jedrilice, kako i sami kažete, ponajprije za odmor. Ako već želite nastupati i na ponekim regatama, logično je da želite postizati i što bolje rezultate, ali ovim i sličnim modelima teško možete izbiti u prvi plan i biti među vodećim jedrilicama u regati.

Međutim, jedan od razloga brojnosti krstaša na regatama jest i činjenica da, bez obzira na ostale desetke ili stotine jedrilica u regati i velike rastegnutosti po regatnom polju, vi uvijek imate njih nekoliko koje su gotovo na svim regatama u vašoj blizini.

Dakle, osim službenog plasmana, u regati gotovo svi sudionici imaju i neka svoja mala interna natjecanja s jedrilicama sličnih brzina. U ovoj konkurenciji prednost bolje opreme, a naročito jedara, znatno je više izražena.

Vijek trajanja

Općenito, jedra od klasičnog dakrona su najjeftinija i imaju najdulji vijek trajanja. Korektno održavana, prosječno traju oko osam godina. Jedra od radijalnog dakrona, materijala koji za radijalni kroj ima i posebnu tehniku tkanja, mogu se već smatrati regatnim jedrima.

Sedamdesetak posto su skuplja od klasičnog dakrona, a vijek trajanja im je dvije godine kraći. Najjeftinija mylarom laminirana jedra su tridesetak posto skuplja od radijalnog dakrona, dakle 2,2 puta više od klasičnog dakrona, a vijek trajanja im je također oko šest godina.

Profesionalna regatna jedra, tipa 3DL i slična, gotovo su tri puta skuplja od klasičnog dakrona, a uz pravilno rukovanje i održavanje vijek trajanja im je četiri sezone.

Jedra koja u svojoj strukturi imaju niti spectre, tipa 3Di i slična, dosta su laganija i gotovo dvostruko dugotrajnija od 3DL jedara, a cijena im je tek deset do petnaest posto veća.

Laminirana jedra su manje rastezljiva, bolje drže formu i bolje koriste vjetar, međutim, zahtijevaju stalno i precizno trimanje. Ako posada to ne radi dovoljno dobro, ni očekivana učinkovitost jedara neće biti dovoljno dobra.

Nabavite drifter

Što se tiče vijeka trajanja, valja napomenuti još nešto. Dakron traje dugo, ali mu se početna forma jedra s vremenom deformira. Kevlar i karbon u regatnim jedrima čuvaju početnu formu, rastežu se minimalno te se forma zadržava cijelim vijekom trajanja.

Sun Odyssey 349 u kursu ide oštro u vjetar i ne može postići neke zavidne brzine, međutim, čim se škote mogu malo popustiti, ta brzina dosta raste.

Kako imate namjeru nastupati na regatama, možda bi bilo bolje da za razliku u cijeni između regatnih jedara i klasičnog dakrona radije nabavite kvalitetan drifter, genaker i/ili špinaker.
