Prilikom spajanja lanaca za muring ili prednji vez na brodu s anelima, ili pak sidra na sidreni lanac ili konop, uvijek postoji doza straha da će se vijak na gambetu od trenja olabaviti i postepeno zbog istog razloga odviti prekidajući spoj.
