Na spomen  Maldiva svima se stvori ista slika pred očima, tirkizna boja vode, beskonačno duge pješćane plaže, slamnate kućice u oceanu i luksuzan odmor. Međutim Maldivi imaju i svoju drugu, ne tako lijepu stranu o kojoj ne možete pročitati u brošurama a bilo bi dobro znati.

-Surova stvarnost je da je na Maldivima još uvijek protuzakonito biti gej. Stotine otoka su pod šerijatskim zakonom, što znači da se LGBTQ+ osoba na Maldivima može kazniti sa 100 udaraca bičem i do osam godina zatvora ako se 'neprimjereno' ponaša. Dok će se u glavnom gradu kopna Maleu osjećati malo sputano, stotine luksuznih odmarališta na Maldivima koje služe turistima znaju točno odakle im dolazi prihod, pa stoga stvarnost ne odražava službeni zakon. Ipak, valja biti na oprezu", riječi su jedne mlade stjuardese koja često radi posla boravi na Maldivima, piše portal Pun kufer.

Republika Maldivi su otočna država u Indijskom oceanu, jugozapadno od Indijskog poluotoka, koja se sastoji od oko 1200 otoka grupiranih u 26 atola, među kojima je oko 200 naseljenih, a daljnjih 80 se koristi samo za turizam.

Arhipelag Maldiva smješten je na podmorskom planinskom lancu zvanom Chagos-Laccadive Ridge u Indijskom oceanu.

Mnogi odabiru Maldive za svoj romantičan odmor daleko od očiju javnosti, no ipak – postoji i ona druga strana Maldiva koja nije tako bajna, a otkriva se kada se dvije različite kulture susretnu. Ono što je u našoj svakodnevnica i normalna pojava na Maldivima je strogo zabranjeno, barem među lokalcima. U resortima ipak vlada malo drugačija, opuštenija priča...

Maldivi su prilično konzervativna zemlja i javno iskazivanje naklonosti može privući mnogo neugodnih pogleda i mrštenja mještana, koji možda nisu navikli na takvo ponašanje.

Zabranjeno je i ljubljenje u obraz. Najdalje što biste mogli otići je držanje za ruke i to je to. Ovo je definitivno jedna od stvari koje biste trebali znati prije odlaska s partnerom na Maldive.

Budući da se radi o islamskoj zemlji, Maldivi ne dozvoljavaju alkohol. Ni svinjsko meso se baš ne prodaje. Naravno da se do svega može doći, pogotovo u zemlji koja je orijentirana na turizam, ali bilo bi lijepo da poštujete lokalna pravila i da, ako već morate, ne konzumirate alkohol ili svinjetinu na javim mjestima, odnosno izvan nekog od brojnih resorta. Daleko od očiju lokalaca "sve" je dopušteno, ali u glavnom gradu i na otoku na kojem se nalazi zračna luka alkohola gotovo pa i nema.

Ženama se savjetuje da izbjegavaju nošenje bikinija ili odjeće koja otkriva "previše" u javnosti. Na odmaralištima, odnosno resortima nema takvih pravila i možete obući svoj najbolji kupaći kostim i opustiti se pod suncem ali ako planirate ići izvan resorta pripazite na svoje ponašanje.

Također, morate paziti što donosite u državu. Nekoliko vrsta predmeta je strogo zabranjeno, pa vodite računa da vam se u prtljazi  ne nađu predmeti koji se mogu smatrati uvredljivim, prijetnjom ili povezati s kršenjem njihovih društvenih običaja, vjere i načina života. 

Knjige koje uključuju vjerske tekstove, osim Kurana, već spomenuti alkohol i svinjetina ili bilo koji drugi proizvodi povezani sa svinjetinom je najbolje ostaviti kod kuće, savjetuje portal Pun kufer.

Na spomen  Maldiva svima se stvori ista slika pred očima, tirkizna boja vode, beskonačno duge pješćane plaže, slamnate kućice u oceanu i luksuzan odmor. Međutim Maldivi imaju i svoju drugu, ne tako lijepu stranu o kojoj ne možete pročitati u brošurama a bilo bi dobro znati.

-Surova stvarnost je da je na Maldivima još uvijek protuzakonito biti gej. Stotine otoka su pod šerijatskim zakonom, što znači da se LGBTQ+ osoba na Maldivima može kazniti sa 100 udaraca bičem i do osam godina zatvora ako se 'neprimjereno' ponaša. Dok će se u glavnom gradu kopna Maleu osjećati malo sputano, stotine luksuznih odmarališta na Maldivima koje služe turistima znaju točno odakle im dolazi prihod, pa stoga stvarnost ne odražava službeni zakon. Ipak, valja biti na oprezu", riječi su jedne mlade stjuardese koja često radi posla boravi na Maldivima, piše portal Pun kufer.

Republika Maldivi su otočna država u Indijskom oceanu, jugozapadno od Indijskog poluotoka, koja se sastoji od oko 1200 otoka grupiranih u 26 atola, među kojima je oko 200 naseljenih, a daljnjih 80 se koristi samo za turizam.

Arhipelag Maldiva smješten je na podmorskom planinskom lancu zvanom Chagos-Laccadive Ridge u Indijskom oceanu.

Mnogi odabiru Maldive za svoj romantičan odmor daleko od očiju javnosti, no ipak – postoji i ona druga strana Maldiva koja nije tako bajna, a otkriva se kada se dvije različite kulture susretnu. Ono što je u našoj svakodnevnica i normalna pojava na Maldivima je strogo zabranjeno, barem među lokalcima. U resortima ipak vlada malo drugačija, opuštenija priča...

Maldivi su prilično konzervativna zemlja i javno iskazivanje naklonosti može privući mnogo neugodnih pogleda i mrštenja mještana, koji možda nisu navikli na takvo ponašanje.

Zabranjeno je i ljubljenje u obraz. Najdalje što biste mogli otići je držanje za ruke i to je to. Ovo je definitivno jedna od stvari koje biste trebali znati prije odlaska s partnerom na Maldive.

Budući da se radi o islamskoj zemlji, Maldivi ne dozvoljavaju alkohol. Ni svinjsko meso se baš ne prodaje. Naravno da se do svega može doći, pogotovo u zemlji koja je orijentirana na turizam, ali bilo bi lijepo da poštujete lokalna pravila i da, ako već morate, ne konzumirate alkohol ili svinjetinu na javim mjestima, odnosno izvan nekog od brojnih resorta. Daleko od očiju lokalaca "sve" je dopušteno, ali u glavnom gradu i na otoku na kojem se nalazi zračna luka alkohola gotovo pa i nema.

Ženama se savjetuje da izbjegavaju nošenje bikinija ili odjeće koja otkriva "previše" u javnosti. Na odmaralištima, odnosno resortima nema takvih pravila i možete obući svoj najbolji kupaći kostim i opustiti se pod suncem ali ako planirate ići izvan resorta pripazite na svoje ponašanje.

Također, morate paziti što donosite u državu. Nekoliko vrsta predmeta je strogo zabranjeno, pa vodite računa da vam se u prtljazi  ne nađu predmeti koji se mogu smatrati uvredljivim, prijetnjom ili povezati s kršenjem njihovih društvenih običaja, vjere i načina života. 

Knjige koje uključuju vjerske tekstove, osim Kurana, već spomenuti alkohol i svinjetina ili bilo koji drugi proizvodi povezani sa svinjetinom je najbolje ostaviti kod kuće, savjetuje portal Pun kufer.
