Demencija je ozbiljna i teška bolest i jedan od vodećih uzroka smrti u svijetu, stoga njeno otkrivanje u ranoj fazi može pomoći osobama i njihovim obiteljima da bolje razumiju dijagnozu i prema tome planiraju budućnost.

Znanstvenici su otkrili da se jedan simptom demencije može uočiti prilikom tuširanja. Naime jedan od znakova koji upućuju na demenciju je gubitak osjeta mirisa.

Dakle, ako ne osjećate miris svog šampona, gela za tuširanje ili sapuna dok ste pod tušem, to bi mogao biti znak da ste u ranoj fazi demencije.

Gubitak pamćenja ne mora nužno biti znak demencije, ali nesposobnost prepoznavanja mirisa okaraterizirana je kao jedan od prvih znakova.

Pored gubitka pamćenja i osjeta mirisa, postoji još simptoma koji ukazuju na ovo stanje, a to su promjene raspoloženja, teže obavljanje svakodnevnih zadataka, poteškoće s koncentracijom, poteškoće s govorom te zbunjenost u vremenu i prostoru.

Budući da postoje različite vrste demencije, neke od ovih simptoma nije moguće odmah primijetiti, piše Bljesak info.

Demencija je ozbiljna i teška bolest i jedan od vodećih uzroka smrti u svijetu, stoga njeno otkrivanje u ranoj fazi može pomoći osobama i njihovim obiteljima da bolje razumiju dijagnozu i prema tome planiraju budućnost.

Znanstvenici su otkrili da se jedan simptom demencije može uočiti prilikom tuširanja. Naime jedan od znakova koji upućuju na demenciju je gubitak osjeta mirisa.

Dakle, ako ne osjećate miris svog šampona, gela za tuširanje ili sapuna dok ste pod tušem, to bi mogao biti znak da ste u ranoj fazi demencije.

Gubitak pamćenja ne mora nužno biti znak demencije, ali nesposobnost prepoznavanja mirisa okaraterizirana je kao jedan od prvih znakova.
