Lupus je autoimuna bolest koju prate bol u zglobovima, umor i osip. U nekim slučajevima može oštetiti srce, bubrege i druge organe. Iako nema lijeka, postoje tretmani koji mogu smanjiti simptome. No, ne dijagnosticira se lako, a oboljeli je mogu imati godinama prije nego što im se postavi dijagnoza. Evo koji simptomi mogu potaknuti sumnju, piše Živim.

1. BOLOVI U ZGLOBOVIMA

Često su prvi znak lupusa. Bol se obično javlja na obje strane tijela u isto vrijeme, posebno u zglobovima zapešća, šaka, prstiju i koljena. Zglobovi mogu izgledati upaljeno i topli su na dodir, slično kao i kod reumatoidnog artritisa, ali lupus obično ne uzrokuje trajno oštećenje zglobova.

2. OSIP NA OBRAZIMA

Lupus obično prati osip u obliku leptira na obrazima i hrptu nosa. Drugi problemi s kožom uključuju crvene mrlje na raznim dijelovima tijela, licu, vratu i rukama. Kod nekih se mogu pojaviti i ranice u ustima.

3. PROMJENE NA NOKTIMA

Nokti uslijed lupusa mogu pucati, dobiti plave ili crvenkaste mrlje zbog upale malih krvnih žila ili čak mogu otpasti. Oteklina na prstima može dovesti do toga da je i koža oko korijena nokta crvena i otečena.

4. NISKA TEMPERATURA I UMOR

Većina ljudi s lupusom osjeća umor, u mnogim slučajevima toliko velik da imometa dnevne aktivnosti. Većina pacijenata povremeno ima i nisku temperaturu. Kod nekih ovo čak može biti jedini znak upozorenja.

5. PREOSJETLJIVOST NA SVJETLO

Mnogi s lupusom osjetljivi su na sunce i druge oblike ultraljubičastog svjetla. Dan na otvorenom može izazvati kožni osip na područjima izloženim sunčevoj svjetlosti i može pogoršati druge simptome. Neki lijekovi također mogu pojačati osjetljivost na UV svjetlo.

6. ISPADANJE KOSE

Oboljeli od lupusa mogu proći kroz razdoblja u kojima im kosa ispada u pramenovima ili postaje tanja na cijelom vlasištu. Nakon što prođe akutno pogoršanje, vjerojatno će ponovno izrasti nova kosa.

7. RAYNAUDOV SINDROM

Neki ljudi s lupusom razviju Raynaudov sindrom, stanje kada prsti na rukama i nogama postaju bolni, utrnuti i s trncima, ako su izloženi niskim temperaturama ili kada su pod stresom. Prsti na rukama i nogama također mogu postati bijeli ili modri. Zapravo se male krvne žile grče ograničavajući protok krvi u tom području. Raynaudova bolest je zasebna bolest, može postojati i bez lupusa ili nekog drugog ozbiljnog zdravstvenog stanja, piše Živim.

Lupus je autoimuna bolest koju prate bol u zglobovima, umor i osip. U nekim slučajevima može oštetiti srce, bubrege i druge organe. Iako nema lijeka, postoje tretmani koji mogu smanjiti simptome. No, ne dijagnosticira se lako, a oboljeli je mogu imati godinama prije nego što im se postavi dijagnoza. Evo koji simptomi mogu potaknuti sumnju, piše Živim.

1. BOLOVI U ZGLOBOVIMA

Često su prvi znak lupusa. Bol se obično javlja na obje strane tijela u isto vrijeme, posebno u zglobovima zapešća, šaka, prstiju i koljena. Zglobovi mogu izgledati upaljeno i topli su na dodir, slično kao i kod reumatoidnog artritisa, ali lupus obično ne uzrokuje trajno oštećenje zglobova.

2. OSIP NA OBRAZIMA

Lupus obično prati osip u obliku leptira na obrazima i hrptu nosa. Drugi problemi s kožom uključuju crvene mrlje na raznim dijelovima tijela, licu, vratu i rukama. Kod nekih se mogu pojaviti i ranice u ustima.

3. PROMJENE NA NOKTIMA

Nokti uslijed lupusa mogu pucati, dobiti plave ili crvenkaste mrlje zbog upale malih krvnih žila ili čak mogu otpasti. Oteklina na prstima može dovesti do toga da je i koža oko korijena nokta crvena i otečena.

4. NISKA TEMPERATURA I UMOR

Većina ljudi s lupusom osjeća umor, u mnogim slučajevima toliko velik da imometa dnevne aktivnosti. Većina pacijenata povremeno ima i nisku temperaturu. Kod nekih ovo čak može biti jedini znak upozorenja.

5. PREOSJETLJIVOST NA SVJETLO

Mnogi s lupusom osjetljivi su na sunce i druge oblike ultraljubičastog svjetla. Dan na otvorenom može izazvati kožni osip na područjima izloženim sunčevoj svjetlosti i može pogoršati druge simptome. Neki lijekovi također mogu pojačati osjetljivost na UV svjetlo.

6. ISPADANJE KOSE

Oboljeli od lupusa mogu proći kroz razdoblja u kojima im kosa ispada u pramenovima ili postaje tanja na cijelom vlasištu. Nakon što prođe akutno pogoršanje, vjerojatno će ponovno izrasti nova kosa.

7. RAYNAUDOV SINDROM

Neki ljudi s lupusom razviju Raynaudov sindrom, stanje kada prsti na rukama i nogama postaju bolni, utrnuti i s trncima, ako su izloženi niskim temperaturama ili kada su pod stresom. Prsti na rukama i nogama također mogu postati bijeli ili modri. Zapravo se male krvne žile grče ograničavajući protok krvi u tom području. Raynaudova bolest je zasebna bolest, može postojati i bez lupusa ili nekog drugog ozbiljnog zdravstvenog stanja, piše Živim.
