Biblija je izvor vječne znatiželje i istraživanja, a jedan podatak koji svakako može pobuditi znatiželju je onaj vezan uz – temperaturu Raja i Pakla.
Naime još 1972. godine znanstvenici su na osnovi nekolicine ulomaka Svete knjige kršćana napravili istraživanje koje bi s popriličnom preciznošću moglo dati odgovor na to pitanje.

O samim znanstvenicima se ne zna puno; autori članka otprije 51 godinu objavljenog u Journal of Applied nisu potpisani, prenosi National Geographic. Vjeruje se da su Britanci, a članak je postigao veliki interes zahvaljujući zanimljivosti, ali i uznemirujućim rezultatima.
Da bi izračunali temperaturu pakla, autori su koristili odlomak iz knjige Otkrivenja, točnije pasus 21:8. U njemu se može pročitati sljedeće: "A strašljivcima i nevjernima i nečistima i ubojicama i bludnicima i idolopoklonicima i svima lašcima, njima je mjesto u jezeru koje gori ognjem i sumporom, što je druga smrt".

Кljučno u ovom slučaju bilo je sumporno jezero; po tome su autori zaključili da, kad bi sumporno jezero postojalo, moralo bi se naći u rastopljenom, tekućem stanju. Poznato je da je temperatura na kojoj tekući sumpor prelazi u stanje pare 444,6 stupnjeva Celzijusa, stoga, da bi se formiralo jezero, ono mora biti na nižoj temperaturi od te. Iz toga proizlazi da je temperatura pakla nešto malo manje od 445 stupnjeva Celzijusa.
Računica vezana, pak, za Raj i temperaturu u njemu je bila nešto kompliciranija. Da bi došli do tog rezultata, znanstvenici su uzeli odlomak iz Knjige proroka Izaije, 30:28, gdje stoji: "Svjetlost mjesečeva biti kao svjetlost sunčana, a svjetlost će sunčana biti sedam puta veća, kao svjetlost od sedam dana, kad Gospod zavije uboj narodu svome i iscijeli rane koje mu je zadao".

Znanstveno tumačenje tih riječi je bilo da Raj od Mjeseca dobija - sedam puta veće zračenje nego od Sunca, odnosno radijacija tamo je 49 puta veća od one na Zemlji.
Da bi razjasnili ovo pitanje i dobili preciznu vrijednost odlučili su koristiti termodinamički zakon poznat kao Stefan-Boltsmanov zakon. Pomoću tog zakona i uz prosječnu temperaturu od 25 stupnjeva zraka - na Zemlji - uspjeli su doći do konkretnog rezultata, te odredili da je temperatura raja - 525º C.

Znamo da ste "zinuli", i mi smo; kako je Raj topliji od Pakla, zapitali smo se svi. Rezultati ove studije su zapravo vrlo kontroverzni, naime podatak da je Raj stotinu puta "vrući" od ognja paklenog je u suprotnosti sa svim vjerovanjima, vizualizacijama i bilo kakvoj ideji klasičnog koncepta Raja vs Pakla.
Međutim, godinama kasnije pojavila se tvrdnja da se dio o zračenju iz Knjige proroka Izaije odnosi na faktor sedam, a ne 49. To jest, da je radijacija bila sedam puta veća od one na Zemlji. U tom pak slučaju imali bismo temperaturu Raja od oko 231,5 º C, što je donekle prilagođeno tradicionalnom shvaćanju, i čini ga hladnijim od Pakla. No, svejedno daleko od mjesta na koje bi bilo koja dobra duša poželjela "odletjeti".
Čekamo nova saznanja, Raj bi trebao biti temperiran barem kao Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati, ne više od toga.

Naime još 1972. godine znanstvenici su na osnovi nekolicine ulomaka Svete knjige kršćana napravili istraživanje koje bi s popriličnom preciznošću moglo dati odgovor na to pitanje.

O samim znanstvenicima se ne zna puno; autori članka otprije 51 godinu objavljenog u Journal of Applied nisu potpisani, prenosi National Geographic. Vjeruje se da su Britanci, a članak je postigao veliki interes zahvaljujući zanimljivosti, ali i uznemirujućim rezultatima.
Da bi izračunali temperaturu pakla, autori su koristili odlomak iz knjige Otkrivenja, točnije pasus 21:8. U njemu se može pročitati sljedeće: "A strašljivcima i nevjernima i nečistima i ubojicama i bludnicima i idolopoklonicima i svima lašcima, njima je mjesto u jezeru koje gori ognjem i sumporom, što je druga smrt".

Кljučno u ovom slučaju bilo je sumporno jezero; po tome su autori zaključili da, kad bi sumporno jezero postojalo, moralo bi se naći u rastopljenom, tekućem stanju. Poznato je da je temperatura na kojoj tekući sumpor prelazi u stanje pare 444,6 stupnjeva Celzijusa, stoga, da bi se formiralo jezero, ono mora biti na nižoj temperaturi od te. Iz toga proizlazi da je temperatura pakla nešto malo manje od 445 stupnjeva Celzijusa.
Računica vezana, pak, za Raj i temperaturu u njemu je bila nešto kompliciranija. Da bi došli do tog rezultata, znanstvenici su uzeli odlomak iz Knjige proroka Izaije, 30:28, gdje stoji: "Svjetlost mjesečeva biti kao svjetlost sunčana, a svjetlost će sunčana biti sedam puta veća, kao svjetlost od sedam dana, kad Gospod zavije uboj narodu svome i iscijeli rane koje mu je zadao".

Znanstveno tumačenje tih riječi je bilo da Raj od Mjeseca dobija - sedam puta veće zračenje nego od Sunca, odnosno radijacija tamo je 49 puta veća od one na Zemlji.
Da bi razjasnili ovo pitanje i dobili preciznu vrijednost odlučili su koristiti termodinamički zakon poznat kao Stefan-Boltsmanov zakon. Pomoću tog zakona i uz prosječnu temperaturu od 25 stupnjeva zraka - na Zemlji - uspjeli su doći do konkretnog rezultata, te odredili da je temperatura raja - 525º C.

Znamo da ste "zinuli", i mi smo; kako je Raj topliji od Pakla, zapitali smo se svi. Rezultati ove studije su zapravo vrlo kontroverzni, naime podatak da je Raj stotinu puta "vrući" od ognja paklenog je u suprotnosti sa svim vjerovanjima, vizualizacijama i bilo kakvoj ideji klasičnog koncepta Raja vs Pakla.
Međutim, godinama kasnije pojavila se tvrdnja da se dio o zračenju iz Knjige proroka Izaije odnosi na faktor sedam, a ne 49. To jest, da je radijacija bila sedam puta veća od one na Zemlji. U tom pak slučaju imali bismo temperaturu Raja od oko 231,5 º C, što je donekle prilagođeno tradicionalnom shvaćanju, i čini ga hladnijim od Pakla. No, svejedno daleko od mjesta na koje bi bilo koja dobra duša poželjela "odletjeti".
Čekamo nova saznanja, Raj bi trebao biti temperiran barem kao Ujedinjeni Arapski Emirati, ne više od toga.
