Recept za uspjeh mnogih turskih sapunica nije tajna - borba dobra i zla u kojoj dobro uvijek pobjeđuje.
I ta se formula, izgleda, dobro prodaje. Državna televizija TRT navodi da tursku produkciju u prodaji zabavnih televizijskih sadržaja nadmašuju jedino Sjedinjene Države.
Očekuje se da će izvoz turske tv produkcije 2023. dosegnuti milijardu dolara, navodi turska novinska agencija Anadolija.
Turske drame, naročito povijesne, posebno obožavaju u arapskom govornom području. Na Balkanu i u Španjolskoj, pak, bolje prolaze uglavnom klasične, i prilično konzervativne, turske ljubavne priče.
No popularnost turskih tv uspješnica ima i drugu stranu medalje. Egipat, na primjer, upozorava na turske produkcije jer smatra na da Turska preko njih želi proširiti svoj utjecaj u regiji.
Vrlo popularni povijesni serijal "Ertugrul", primjerice, prati priču o ocu osnivača Osmanskog carstva. Riječ je o pripovijesti o junaštvu u kojoj Ertugrul spašava cijeli islamski svijet.
Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan preporučio je mladim ljudima da gledaju serijal i nauče nešto o povijesti zemlje.
"Ne zaboravite da dolazimo iz zemlje koja je s 18.000 kvadratnih kilometara porasla na 780.000", kazao je.
Erdogan često naglašava osmansku povijest zemlje što potpiruje sumnje da želi biti regionalni lider i da se sapunicama služi za širenje turskog kulturnog utjecaja.
Kulturni utjecaj putem sapunica
Povijesne drame u državnoj produkciji, smještene u vrijeme Osmanskog carstva, imaju populistčku priču, kaže Feyza Akinerdem, sociologinja medija s istanbulskog sveučilišta Bogazici.
Takva vrsta serijala priprema kulturološki plodno tlo za Erdoganov politički despotizam, smatra turski novinar u egzilu Can Dundar.
One ujedno romantiziraju prošlost više nego li što brinu o povijesnoj istini, upozoravaju drugi kritičari.
Njihov sadržaj posebno kontrolira RTUK, osnovan 1994. kao regulatorno tijelo za medije. Zadaća mu je da motri i isključuje kanale koji emitiraju sadržaj koji bi mogao biti štetan za vlast.
"Država je htjela vratiti kontrolu nad televizijom, stoga je osnovala RTUK", navodi Akinerdem. Član tog tijela koji dolazi iz oporbene Republikanske narodne stranke Ilhan Tasci kaže kako je iz njegovih odluka jasno da se predsjednik RTUK-a jako trudi spriječiti kritike na račun Erdogana i njegove vlade.
Bez alkohola i golišavosti
RTUK ne nadgleda samo političke sadržaje. Tako je nedavno kažnjen jedan tv kanal zbog serija u kojima se izvanbračne veze navodno prikazuju kao poželjne.
Alkohol i golotinja također ne prolaze državnu cenzuru.
Seks, referencije na različitu seksualnu orijentaciju ili alkohol, sve su to sadržaji zbog kojih su neke tv postaje bile danima ugašene, kaže sociolog Besim Can Zirh sa sveučilišta Odtu u Ankari.
U posljednja dva desetljeća konzervativna vlada temeljito je restrukturirala medije, dodaje. "Iza mnogih ovakvih odluka stoji ideja o zaštiti ideala savršene turske obitelji", ističe.
Akinerdem je ipak primijetila jednu promjenu u sadržaju turskih serija.
"Nasilje nad ženama velika je tema i nalazi svoje mjesto u brojnim produkcijama posljednjih godina", kaže ta sociologinja i feministica. "Ženska svakodnevica postala je prominentna tema".

Recept za uspjeh mnogih turskih sapunica nije tajna - borba dobra i zla u kojoj dobro uvijek pobjeđuje.
I ta se formula, izgleda, dobro prodaje. Državna televizija TRT navodi da tursku produkciju u prodaji zabavnih televizijskih sadržaja nadmašuju jedino Sjedinjene Države.
Očekuje se da će izvoz turske tv produkcije 2023. dosegnuti milijardu dolara, navodi turska novinska agencija Anadolija.
Turske drame, naročito povijesne, posebno obožavaju u arapskom govornom području. Na Balkanu i u Španjolskoj, pak, bolje prolaze uglavnom klasične, i prilično konzervativne, turske ljubavne priče.
No popularnost turskih tv uspješnica ima i drugu stranu medalje. Egipat, na primjer, upozorava na turske produkcije jer smatra na da Turska preko njih želi proširiti svoj utjecaj u regiji.
Vrlo popularni povijesni serijal "Ertugrul", primjerice, prati priču o ocu osnivača Osmanskog carstva. Riječ je o pripovijesti o junaštvu u kojoj Ertugrul spašava cijeli islamski svijet.
Turski predsjednik Recep Tayyip Erdogan preporučio je mladim ljudima da gledaju serijal i nauče nešto o povijesti zemlje.
"Ne zaboravite da dolazimo iz zemlje koja je s 18.000 kvadratnih kilometara porasla na 780.000", kazao je.
Erdogan često naglašava osmansku povijest zemlje što potpiruje sumnje da želi biti regionalni lider i da se sapunicama služi za širenje turskog kulturnog utjecaja.
Kulturni utjecaj putem sapunica
Povijesne drame u državnoj produkciji, smještene u vrijeme Osmanskog carstva, imaju populistčku priču, kaže Feyza Akinerdem, sociologinja medija s istanbulskog sveučilišta Bogazici.
Takva vrsta serijala priprema kulturološki plodno tlo za Erdoganov politički despotizam, smatra turski novinar u egzilu Can Dundar.
One ujedno romantiziraju prošlost više nego li što brinu o povijesnoj istini, upozoravaju drugi kritičari.
Njihov sadržaj posebno kontrolira RTUK, osnovan 1994. kao regulatorno tijelo za medije. Zadaća mu je da motri i isključuje kanale koji emitiraju sadržaj koji bi mogao biti štetan za vlast.
"Država je htjela vratiti kontrolu nad televizijom, stoga je osnovala RTUK", navodi Akinerdem. Član tog tijela koji dolazi iz oporbene Republikanske narodne stranke Ilhan Tasci kaže kako je iz njegovih odluka jasno da se predsjednik RTUK-a jako trudi spriječiti kritike na račun Erdogana i njegove vlade.
Bez alkohola i golišavosti
RTUK ne nadgleda samo političke sadržaje. Tako je nedavno kažnjen jedan tv kanal zbog serija u kojima se izvanbračne veze navodno prikazuju kao poželjne.
Alkohol i golotinja također ne prolaze državnu cenzuru.
Seks, referencije na različitu seksualnu orijentaciju ili alkohol, sve su to sadržaji zbog kojih su neke tv postaje bile danima ugašene, kaže sociolog Besim Can Zirh sa sveučilišta Odtu u Ankari.
U posljednja dva desetljeća konzervativna vlada temeljito je restrukturirala medije, dodaje. "Iza mnogih ovakvih odluka stoji ideja o zaštiti ideala savršene turske obitelji", ističe.
Akinerdem je ipak primijetila jednu promjenu u sadržaju turskih serija.
"Nasilje nad ženama velika je tema i nalazi svoje mjesto u brojnim produkcijama posljednjih godina", kaže ta sociologinja i feministica. "Ženska svakodnevica postala je prominentna tema".
