Uvijek sam mislila da ću kada zatrudnim prestati pušiti, ali plusić na testu za trudnoću se prije nekoliko dana "pojavio", a meni se i dalje teško odreći cigareta.
Čula sam da su liječnici nekim trudnicama preporučili da ne prestaju pušiti zbog "šoka za organizam". Što misliš, ima li istine u tome? – nedavno me je upitala poznanica.
Teorije o posljedicama pušenja u trudnoći su razne, od toga da može dovesti do abortusa, preuranjenog poroda, do rođenja djeteta s manjom porođajnom težinom...

Što je od toga istina i je li i koliko pušenje štetno za plod u trudnoći, te je li gore naglo prestati ili nastaviti pušiti u drugom stanju, upitali smo docenta dr. sc. Ivana Paladu, specijalista ginekologije i opstetricije, užeg specijalista humane reprodukcije.
– Nedvojbeno je kako je pušenje u trudnoći štetno i u najmanjem obliku, stoga se preporučuje prekinuti s pušenjem što prije.
Prestati je potrebno po mogućnosti i prije trudnoće jer pušenje otežava začeće i povećava rizik od spontanih pobačaja.
Prestati pušiti trebaju oba partnera jer je i pasivno pušenje oko trudnice nepovoljno za tekuću trudnoću – kazao nam je dr. Palada i dodao koje su moguće posljedice za plod ako majka puši za vrijeme trudnoće.
– Osim već prije navedenog spontanog pobačaja, postoji rizik nastanka ektopične trudnoće, krvarenja u trudnoći, osobito u zadnjem trimestru, kada može doći do tzv. abrupcije posteljice, a koja može završiti smrtnim ishodom.
Također su tu i fetalne abnormalnosti tipa rascjepa nepca i/ili usnice, iznenadna smrt djeteta u trudnoći, smanjena težina djeteta u trudnoći, takozvani zastoj rasta te prijevremeni porod.

Pušenje u trudnoći svakako utječe i na stanje djeteta nakon poroda, povećavajući rizik novorođenog djeteta za SIDS sy (iznenadna smrt djeteta u kolijevci bez jasnog razloga), ADHD sy (sindrom poremećaja pažnje i hiperaktivnosti), astmu, upale respiratornog sustava, težu adaptaciju viših moždanih funkcija na zahtjeve kod školskih obveza – upozorio je naš sugovornik na moguće rizike i posljedice.
Opovrgnuo je i teoriju kako je nagli prestanak uživanja u nikotinu šok za organizam koji se ne preporučuje u trudnoći, zbog čega se mnoge trudnice ne odriču one dvije ili tri cigarete u danu.
Dr. Palada kaže da je to potpuno krivo mišljenje.
– Osim kemijskih toksičnosti kojima je dijete u maternici izloženo zbog pušenja, a koje posteljica donekle filtrira, ono što je važnije to je smanjena opskrba kisikom.
Naglim prestankom pušenja dijete nije ugroženo, naprotiv suprotno, od tog trenutka počinje disati punim plućima bez da je izloženo manjku kisika ili zagađenom zraku.
Usporedio bih to s prestankom gušenja i micanjem na svježi zrak osobe koja se kontinuirano guši u neposrednoj blizini auspuha automobila.

Trudnicama preporučujem da prestanu pušiti što prije i u potpunosti. Po mogućnosti da tako i uđu u trudnoću. Ako nije moguće prestati u potpunosti, neka barem smanje upotrebu cigareta. Svaki i najmanji stupanj smanjenja je bitan za omogućavanje što više čistog kisika bebi.
Također je jako bitan aspekt i pasivnog pušenja, pa osim osobnog prestanka trebaju paziti da nisu pasivno izloženi duhanskom dimu – kaže nas sugovornik, koji se osvrnuo i na električne cigarete.
Naime, tvrdi da, ako trudnica koja naglo prestane pušiti u trudnoći osjeća apstinencijski sindrom, sigurno je uzimanje licenciranih nadomjestaka nikotina u obliku tableta, žvakaćih guma ili sličnih pripravaka.
– Po pitanju električnih cigareta koje su danas jako zastupljene, iako ne postoji puno studija o njihovu utjecaju, smatra se kako su manje štetne od samog pušenja cigareta. Međutim, svakako je preporuka prestanak i tog oblika pušenja – savjetuje poznati splitski specijalist ginekologije i opstetricije.
Pušenje u trudnoći ne može se usporediti ni s jednom štetnom navikom, a koja bi tako uporno, kontinuirano, iz dana u dan, na sličan ili gori način štetila u trudnoći.
Dr. Palada veli da bi se sličnim mogao usporediti jedino rad na benzinskim postajama trudnica koje su izložene parama goriva. Upravo se stoga takvim osobama preporučuje, čim utvrde da su trudne, promjena ili preraspodjela radnog mjesta.

Što je od toga istina i je li i koliko pušenje štetno za plod u trudnoći, te je li gore naglo prestati ili nastaviti pušiti u drugom stanju, upitali smo docenta dr. sc. Ivana Paladu, specijalista ginekologije i opstetricije, užeg specijalista humane reprodukcije.
– Nedvojbeno je kako je pušenje u trudnoći štetno i u najmanjem obliku, stoga se preporučuje prekinuti s pušenjem što prije.
Prestati je potrebno po mogućnosti i prije trudnoće jer pušenje otežava začeće i povećava rizik od spontanih pobačaja.
Prestati pušiti trebaju oba partnera jer je i pasivno pušenje oko trudnice nepovoljno za tekuću trudnoću – kazao nam je dr. Palada i dodao koje su moguće posljedice za plod ako majka puši za vrijeme trudnoće.
– Osim već prije navedenog spontanog pobačaja, postoji rizik nastanka ektopične trudnoće, krvarenja u trudnoći, osobito u zadnjem trimestru, kada može doći do tzv. abrupcije posteljice, a koja može završiti smrtnim ishodom.
Također su tu i fetalne abnormalnosti tipa rascjepa nepca i/ili usnice, iznenadna smrt djeteta u trudnoći, smanjena težina djeteta u trudnoći, takozvani zastoj rasta te prijevremeni porod.

Pušenje u trudnoći svakako utječe i na stanje djeteta nakon poroda, povećavajući rizik novorođenog djeteta za SIDS sy (iznenadna smrt djeteta u kolijevci bez jasnog razloga), ADHD sy (sindrom poremećaja pažnje i hiperaktivnosti), astmu, upale respiratornog sustava, težu adaptaciju viših moždanih funkcija na zahtjeve kod školskih obveza – upozorio je naš sugovornik na moguće rizike i posljedice.
Opovrgnuo je i teoriju kako je nagli prestanak uživanja u nikotinu šok za organizam koji se ne preporučuje u trudnoći, zbog čega se mnoge trudnice ne odriču one dvije ili tri cigarete u danu.
Dr. Palada kaže da je to potpuno krivo mišljenje.
– Osim kemijskih toksičnosti kojima je dijete u maternici izloženo zbog pušenja, a koje posteljica donekle filtrira, ono što je važnije to je smanjena opskrba kisikom.
Naglim prestankom pušenja dijete nije ugroženo, naprotiv suprotno, od tog trenutka počinje disati punim plućima bez da je izloženo manjku kisika ili zagađenom zraku.
Usporedio bih to s prestankom gušenja i micanjem na svježi zrak osobe koja se kontinuirano guši u neposrednoj blizini auspuha automobila.

Trudnicama preporučujem da prestanu pušiti što prije i u potpunosti. Po mogućnosti da tako i uđu u trudnoću. Ako nije moguće prestati u potpunosti, neka barem smanje upotrebu cigareta. Svaki i najmanji stupanj smanjenja je bitan za omogućavanje što više čistog kisika bebi.
Također je jako bitan aspekt i pasivnog pušenja, pa osim osobnog prestanka trebaju paziti da nisu pasivno izloženi duhanskom dimu – kaže nas sugovornik, koji se osvrnuo i na električne cigarete.
Naime, tvrdi da, ako trudnica koja naglo prestane pušiti u trudnoći osjeća apstinencijski sindrom, sigurno je uzimanje licenciranih nadomjestaka nikotina u obliku tableta, žvakaćih guma ili sličnih pripravaka.
– Po pitanju električnih cigareta koje su danas jako zastupljene, iako ne postoji puno studija o njihovu utjecaju, smatra se kako su manje štetne od samog pušenja cigareta. Međutim, svakako je preporuka prestanak i tog oblika pušenja – savjetuje poznati splitski specijalist ginekologije i opstetricije.
Pušenje u trudnoći ne može se usporediti ni s jednom štetnom navikom, a koja bi tako uporno, kontinuirano, iz dana u dan, na sličan ili gori način štetila u trudnoći.
Dr. Palada veli da bi se sličnim mogao usporediti jedino rad na benzinskim postajama trudnica koje su izložene parama goriva. Upravo se stoga takvim osobama preporučuje, čim utvrde da su trudne, promjena ili preraspodjela radnog mjesta.
